3.We are keeping our promise to price match per Ghash any genuine new miner in stock at the time of shipment and if needed we will dispatch more hashing power.
Note: Not all our competitors supply PSUs and Touch Screen LCDs, therefore if we compare our miners with these we will subtract the price of our extra hardware before the price match.

Excellent. Bitmain is already shipping miners at $1.5/ghps. So if someone paid $6k for Prosperos, they should be getting at least 4 TH/s right now. In a month when you actually do ship, we're talking more like 5 TH/s. Looking forward to seeing you match the competitors.

I think they mean any new hardware. The S1 uses 2 W/Gh so it's difficult to compare to. Is there any new miners in stock that beat BA's $/gh? If there are, please list them here to bring it to their attention. But they should double the hash for the delay alone. The difficulty will be more than doubled since the original shipping date.

Do the the Dragon 1T miners count?  They're cheaper than Black Arrow.  $2.75/GH

The Bit-tech Bitmine 1 TH/s miner is also cheaper.  $2.35/GH

The Spondoolies June SP10 is cheaper.  $2.49/GH

The Avalon 820G is another one.  $2.56/GH

Basically Black Arrow has no choice but to make it right, they're late and already beat price wise by their competitors.

That is the only way to make these things actually worth anything, doubling the hash rate, at the very least. They have had ample time to change initial designs around to compensate for such a thing. The 300 dollar price tag for 100 gh/s in September was remarkable. Now, with the price of bitcoin hovering @ 500 for at least the last week and you being able to get an s1 for .85 btc, they are at least 180 gh/s, it makes the offerings black arrow has look rather meager. Excited to hear that things are pressing forth, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

The bar has been set so low in the industry that as long as they provide the hardware they promised they aren't close to the worst hardware company out there. Not that it says much when you look at the type of shit that has taken place, but it is something. Delays are unfortunate and sometimes uncontrollable. What they can control is how they handle the situation afterwards and rectify any issues that arose from the delays.

I'm looking forward to an improved compensation package.  The offer of a <50% refund, or a refund months from now was not appealing.

Basically they should at least double the paid hashrate to be considered fair compensation.  Anything less is unacceptable for Batch 1s.

Batch 2, only days apart from Batch 1, get a kick in the nuts, middle finger, and how ya do!   Angry

What an absolute disaster for Batch 2's that ordered in December.  No compensation, no coupons, just wait until Batch 1 is over and then when those are shipped, Batch 2 just gets left with the scraps.   Angry

Yep we pay the same amount, and take just as much risk but batch 1 think they are so much more important just because they order earlier than any one else.

No one asked you to install touchscreen LCDs... nor was it mentioned in the specs when people placed their orders.

I'd have to agree there, no other miner that I can think of comes with an LCD screen.

Admit it. An lcd display is a nice feature. Assuming it's not too expensive.

I was expecting the original 25% extra so thank you to those of you who complained hard enough.
It's expensive enough where they're outright saying that they're going to subtract the cost when it comes to matching the competition. PSU, sure, subtract it, cuz you need to buy one for an Antminer S1, but subtracting a touchscreen because they felt the need to incorporate one? That's not cool..
They're trying to save every penny, now i wonder how much these screens supposedly cost. Anything over 20$ and im not believing it.

I am willing to give BA a $14 credit towards my comp.  It is a nice feature.  Not more than that though.

Hey BA, you better hurry because $/Gh is dropping fast with the A1 systems, and Bitmain's continual price cuts.

The Dragons and the S2 have LCD screens, but not touchscreen.

Unnecessary to have I know, but doubt this tech would hold up the whole manufacturing process causing delays.

Has anyone done a bitcoin refund from minersource? Following the chain it seems like it was traded for fiat so i really don't want to hear the excuse that they will only give me half back what i paid.

I did a BTC refund at Minersource for an X-1. They paid me back in full BTC minus a reasonable transaction fee.

I wish I got my $ back, buying a pair of X1's was going to be my first entry into bitcoin mining. As a newcomer this is all very disappointing.  Embarrassed

We all played and lost the preorder game.  If you still want to mine and not wait until the end of May, you can get some in stock Antminer S1's for 0.63 BTC each.

Well this is about the worst news they could have given, no updates really paint a grim picture and put us in the dark. I wonder if they will give an update or make us wait til the 1st for them to say they aren't making the date.

I think the absence of an update pretty much says it all. It doesn't take but 2 seconds to either say, "Hey, we have a working proto, give us a day and we will give you more info" or " HA HA HA we took your money suckers The project has been delayed again".

Any one notice Minersource not selling batch2 any more only the inflated batch1

They aren't refunding all of them with BA, they are reselling them internally. Same with the X-3 R17 group buy. Good for them for turning this to their advantage. There's a customer (sucker) born every minute.
