Well they can look at this way if the first machine goes fubar then take psu out put in the paper weight they gave for compensation send new paper weight back under warranty and wait for new paper weight to arrive that's how you make lemonade when given lemons.

Black Arrow increases the compensation for preorders
 
As our shipping is few days away, we wish to thank and give back to all customers that have believed in us.
 
Today we are increasing increasing the compensation as we are looking to start rewarding our loyal customers:
 
For Batch 1 customers, the 25% cloud hashing compensation previously announced will be replaced with 50% in the form of physical hardware. The extra hardware will not include power supply or shipping but they will be available to purchase from our store. We will also offer a technical solution for customers who wish to use their own power supplies.
 
Details:
  • Every X3 purchased will now contain 3 * 1Thash modules, 2 modules with power supplies, one without.
    For every 2 * X1 purchased we are offering an extra X1, without power supply. Customers who have not purchased an even numbers of X1s, will also receive a free X1 miner on their next purchase of a X1 miner.
    Cloud hashing packages will receive 50% extra hashing power minus setup and maintenance costs which will be announced at a later date.
 
All customers who have placed pre-orders until 05/05/2014 will be offered 25% discount on all future orders of miners based on Minion (limit: up to 10 times the hashing power of their previous orders)
 
Pending sales and further reducing costs once we go into mass production we are looking to continue offering discounts to the customers who have supported us and helped us to make the Minion & Prospero a success story.
 
Note: The discounts for future orders are offered only to customers who have believed in us and continued to support us. They will not be offered to customers who requested refunds and to a small minority who abused or threatened any member of Black Arrow Team.

So if you ordered a single X1, the only way to get compensated is to send you more money?
Seems to me like the compensation plan for some customers just went from disappointing to unacceptable

If someone would be crazy enough to put in an order for more X1's now, would is estimated delivery time?

I was in DZ's group buy #17 for the X-3 units.  Then I decided to refund.  PMs in the bitcointalk doesn't work.  I sent e-mail to minersource.  Give them my order #s, TX ids, and tell them to refund to my original paying address.  Voila.  Refund.  But lost some refund fee in the process.   Undecided 

Better than losing everything I guess.

You know guys I have really big doubts about minersource, they are looking more and more suspicious. Ignoring everybody's emails, just after people start asking about refunds. Absolutely no news about refunds. I don't want to say so, but it looks like he doesnt give a damn about our money.

I've given up all hope and now only hope i can get a refund from minersouce or get them to ship me a S1 on the 15th.

I tried to get them to ship an S1 for my X-1 orders more than a month ago and was told they'd have to refund my orders.  They couldn't swap orders like that.  I ended up with a refund and an S1.

Cheers looks like that's my course of action as well then.

well the delay of the improved compensation plan says it all..
dont expect the x3 to be shipped on the 8th of may.

unbelivable that the even delayed the compensation plan, that company is starting to be a big joke.

He never said there was a delay. He just said minion chips shipping =/= prosperos shipping to clear up confusion.

If I'm not mistaken, the original update was that they Prosperos would be shipping on May 1st... from what I've read this will not be the case. So to me, this is another delay

We would like to apologize for not posting the promised update today. At the moment everyone is extremely busy and the time difference does not help us. However we will post the promised update by Monday. Also please note that the shipping on the 7th of May is for the Minion ASIC chips, not the Prospero miners. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the delay of the update.
