Hello David, How are you and the elves doing? Working on that Christmas update I hope! Please tell us Santa will bring us some good news this Holiday Season, mmmm like how bout a option for existing customers to "upgrade" to 14nm units and a piece of the so called company pie like Alpha offered up in their compensation plan, we've stuck with you for this long (through no fault of our own) If BA plans to stick around, they are gonna need US...the original suckers, *cough sorry investors. What do you say David, I'll even offer to travel to the north pole if Santa needs a hand with this. Teamplayer here.

Been happy with my X-1 that I received back in June. No issues to speak in the ~5 months of use so far.

What order# where you? Direct order from BA or minersource?
His order and delivery are fiction. He's a BA alt/shill account lying to up their cred. This post will therefore be removed, but will reappear in the uncensored thread.

Urgh. Well I'm order #17XX and nothing from BA. Not holding my breathe either. Good luck to everyone involved in this hot mess.

They said they put me on refund queue but yesterday 2 X3 show up without warning. Cost $250 for customs clearance. Wish they warn me first so I can get cheaper tax rate at customs. Hope this units won't blow up like others.

50 per cent refund in their lousy asics chips for rent a minion customers.

Are they totaly  nuts?

50% refund is much better than mining back <10% which is about what I'll get from my X1's. And I'm paying electricity on top of it.

50 % in lousy chips means max 15-20% ( if you have luck ) cashback from all invested.

But I do not agree to such a mess deal.

Even if they are located in HK or China. Chinese law is very  hard with liars  I guess. So there must be a chance with a legal action.

X1 manufacturing – in testing

We have stopped manufacturing X1 and we will be shipping all remaining customers X1.5 which contains 2 chips and hashes at 160-180 Ghash in an attempt to clear the compensation sooner.
Certification for Prospero X1.5 is in progress.

Does this mean that I will get a X1.5 aswell? for my 2x X-1 order compensation?

14nm Bitcoin ASIC

We are still heavily involved in the 14nm ASIC project.
We are happy to report that after bringing on board more talent we have exceeded our initial 0.3W/Ghash target by 4.3 times by employing all techniques possible in ASIC and algorithm design. Our current design efficiency is now 70mW/Ghash (0.07W/Ghash) which allows us to build a 1 Terrahash chip in a single die while using 70 Watts at chip level. This will allow development of a 20Thash machine while using 1.5kw.
We intend to make this chip available for sale only from stock (No pre-orders)

Sounds good, but lets see the end result.. Im sure if you ever do produce 14nm you'll be sub 0.1w.. or well, i hope.

Good? It would be crazy to still consider buying anything from Blackarrow after these delays, bad customer service and miners breaking down.

^^^ lol

But.... seeing as I took delivery of an X1 earlier this month it looks like I'll (allegedly) be missing out on a X1.5.

That's good. People who ordered after me get a more powerful product.
Feeling the love here  Undecided

I ordered a year ago and have gotten nothing. No X3, no X1s. Now they talk about 14nm. What a joke. If they get one single preorder then i will have seriously lost faith in human intelligence.

Both BA and MinerSource claim they will no longer be doing pre-orders (after this royal screwup) BA is however looking for investment backers people with more money than brains to try and raise the necessary money that way...

In addition to that - you should also use the same form factor of the hash boards in the X3.  Thus allowing existing customers to simply upgrade the machines they have and save on all that shipping.  As compensation for screwing over those who thought you were going to deliver in May 2014, perhaps upgrading each x3 box to say 10 or 20 TH with the new chips would be a reasonable expectation.

By the way - when you build the new machines - the design of the X3 over all was good.  Please use some better screws that don't get stripped when you remove them.  The heat sinks for the DC chips should not be super glued on - instead use a screw mount or retention clip.  Having to pry those suckers off is a pain in the butt.

Also - please include an on/off switch wired in, so that we don't just pull the plug to turn it off.

Cheap screws and super glue.hahaha. sounds very professional.they build in  cheapest  china sh+t.
The PSU desaster tells the story. World wide mining stop. What for jerks.

Power supplies - fixed

In the light of the issues encountered with a limited number of the Power Supply units, we have been pushing really hard the power supply manufacturer, Apluspower, to address all the issues. Apart from reliability issues, the PSU did not comply with EM emissions, although our contract with Apluspower clearly mentioned that the PSU must be CE and FCC certified.
As a consequence, after the PSU issues were fixed, Black Arrow went through certification procedures. Prospero X-3 is now CE certified. Please click here to review the certification.
We are happy to report that according to our knowledge, testing and 3rd party certification, Apluspower have now fixed all the problems discovered and reported and we have resumed shipping. Please note that the power supply is certified together with our Prospero X3 as a whole unit and not independently.
The old design PSUs failure rate is lower than 5% and replacement is only required to comply with EU/US legislation due to EM emissions. We will dispatch new PSUs on our own cost to all customers from EU&US who wish to receive a replacement, but please note that customs duty are the responsibility of the receiver. Customers outside of EU&US will be eligible for a replacement only if their PSU is faulty. We will not be requesting our customers to send the old PSUs back.

X3 manufacturing - fixed

We had issues with the speed of built for the new units therefore we had to make a contract with a new business partner who demonstrated that they can manage delivery of large volume in a short period of time.
Our new partner has just finished the first batch of units which will be dispatched today and tomorrow. Their assembly speed is a clear improvement and at this rate we will be finishing all X3 deliveries in next few weeks.
