So nothing of the 28nm tech other than a FPGA simulator?

What else would you expect? Its pretty public that the chip is still in development, and that they wont have the chips until Jan/Feb.

Wishful thinking on my part then Smiley Thanks for the pics

Done with my second day of visiting... unfortunatly I head back to the US tomorrow, as the guys at BA have to head off to some very important meetings tonight. It was a pleasure to meet them, and I have another batch of pictures to upload.

Prototypes eh?  I'd say they built a few more than were strictly necessary for prototyping purposes.

Do you suppose customers' preorder funds paid for those?

They arent prototypes, DZ mistyped. Those are customer's paid for BF boards.

Ah.  I don't see those available for purchase in the web shop.

Are they awaiting shipment, or are they being hosted for said customers?

If I order an X3 and I know a friend in Hong Kong, will they be able to pick it up for me?

Great.  See if you can find my FlappySocks picture in the factory.  BlackArrow labeled all my previous FPGAs, and might have kept a few for the ASICs.   Grin

Anyone who has done wire transfers and other types of payment over the pond... knows the pain it can be. Sometimes a bank visit.. always a fee.. takes several days.

Try https://transferwise.com next time.

Im shocked people are endorsing these 3rd party payment systems WHEN WE HAVE BITCOIN. Just buy some BTC and send it, fast, no fee.

You are?

Because If I pay with my VISA and they don't ship. I can't get my money back. And they are scared of this and it drive's them to provide...

If I send Bitcoins along with everyone else. we have NO way to them back. And they know that, so if they are late, why do they give a damn? they already have our money. We can bitch and complain all we want. They have our money.

Not only is it a security thing. It pressure's them to be open. If they are going to be late and they are scared of claw backs they will be open with us, tell us. post up.

Again with BTc why would they?

If they are big enough that the pre-orders are just pre-orders and they can front the assembly them selves. use an escrow..
