I got a reply to my ticket after I re-upped the priority, but it was just exactly what was posted here before:

"We apologize for the lack of updates during the last few weeks; We have been very busy working with the factories to get your long awaited miner.

"As you well know we have been shipping X1s for almost a month. In the last few days we began shipping X3s alongside X1s. We still have days until we finish all the queue.

"During the last week we have fixed few issues with our products:"

blaah, blaah, blaah.

"Currently all orders are continuously being dispatched and shipped, and rest assured that you will be directly notified with the shipping details soon.

"Looking forward to mining with you and Please feel free to contact us anytime for further questions, thank you."

So, no answers to my actual questions.  Will asking them again make any difference?

Interesting that "blackarrow" was all over here posting all day a couple of days ago, and now it's all silent again.  Oh, and it's now August.  August!

Here are some easier questions that keep being asked:

How many X3s have shipped to *customers* direct from BA?

How many X3s are being shipped each day?

What payment date are we up to?

Easy enough questions to answer, which *somebody* really ought to know without even needing to look anything up.  Then it would be easy (for that same someone) to be able to say "We'll ship your order on August 4th" (or whatever the date would be, based on the number of orders to do before mine and the number shipped each day).  And it would actually ship on that date!

And if something went wrong, I'd get an email saying so.  On the day it happened.

Wouldn't it be so easy if every business was run professionally with a bit of customer service?  Oh, if only...

I know the voices in my head aren't real.
I paid minersource on 12/2/13 order #400 for 2 X1's, which ultimately turned into #2434A on their new system... i have yet to get any tracking info.. Communication with minersource has been excellent in the past, but i havent been keeping up with this in the last few weeks.. are we still this far behind?
i received an email yesterday from Dan. mine is supposed to ship by friday 1 Aug. he says if i dont get a tracking number to contact them back. i know its not MS' fault but im also in a pickle for buying this product. if i dont get my tracking number tomorrow, i will certainly raise a stink. if they cant get me what i ordered then ill take something of equal or more value.

You might want to rethink the bolded portion.  You paid close to 400 dollars for this equipment and it is currently worth about $100.  So you really want something of equal or greater value than you paid.

BA's equipment is all but worthless at this point.
thats what i meant. i used the specific value of what i paid in the email with Dan and what i wanted from their store if they couldnt get the X1 to me.

I know, I just enjoy reminding BA of how much of a failure they are.  Their miners are worth less than a quarter of their original purchase price, and they don't seem to care about how much they screwed everyone over.

Hi Miners !

Is anyone around who has ordered the miners X-1 on the 2nd week of December 2013, and paid them at the same time to Minersource ? I am just curious to see if you already got tracking numbers.

Thanks, Michel.
I did. Ordered 1 X-1 in Dec. 13, payed right after and received the Miner last Sathurday. I'ts up and running since ...

@MichelG:

My own PAY DATE (in full) was December 3rd, 2013, but I have not received even a tracking number yet. -- Order # 724 on the old site.

@shogunmark:

Similar for me -- on the new site, for some reason the order was canceled and then re-issued with the order number changed:

  • Order number on new site, which was canceled (not by me, someone at minersource did this) with no explanation: #2309
  • Second order number on new site, which was created with no explanation: #2309A (this is currently my only active order in the minersource order system, and my address is still correct and unchanged, and I did not request to wait for availability of LCD either.)

Like I said, I paid in full (bitcoin) December 3rd, 2013

I just checked my order. I payed in full with wire transfer on Dec. 16 2013 for my X-1.

Back than I had order number: R0781508xx. It chanched to #120x and to #120xA

Thanks,so much for them shipping in order of payment!. Mine was #646,now 227xA

You stated you wished to have your order held for the LCD.

I asked for the LCD to be included "IF AVAILABLE",NOT for my order to held until they are availble, they may never be. Show me where i said hold my order until lcds are available! Who in right mind would want to another delay for that?

better everyday ♥
It's just about August and some customers still haven't received their miners that they bought from last year?

Glad I crawled out from this pigsty and opted for MS store credit, rather than sweat out whether or not I'd receive worthless in the red, even if resold miners.

I genuinely feel bad for anyone that ordered through BA directly, as they're really feeling the brunt of this crapstorm.

Still haven't seen a picture of a whole X-3 yet in the wild, just cases, or almost built ones in the ecointalk gallery.

Well, I hope for everyone involved, manufacturer and customer alike, this is why the preorder model needs to go out to the shed and get shot in the back of the neck, especially in this industry.

Nothing good ever comes from preorders.

31th July 2014 !!!!!! No shipping of the X3 yet. No tracking number. No answers. Nothing. No... Doh!
You will get your tracking number "NEXT WEEK"

They told me on February 12, 2014 via support ticket

"We confirm that the tapeout of the chip is scheduled to take place on 20 February 2014 and we are confident that the Batch 1 products will start shipping on 30th of April 2014. The estimated dispatch window of the whole batch is expected to be between 7 to 9 working days.".  Huh

Now is July 31, 2014 and nothing shipped. Only excuses and lying.

We will be now insuring all X1 shipments out of our facility here for $499, as a large number of customers paid close to that value after everything is considered. We will also be upgrading our packing significantly, as to better insure our packages get out safely. Applies to US customers only.

Better than BA who fill in a legal document put a valid of $100 for the X1's when shipping. I wonder how long until someone comes after them for not legally declaring the value correctly than people actually paid. WHat BA should do legally is declare the cost of the goods what someone actually paid for it.

Every day I'm reminded what an idiot I am for pre-ordering from Black Arrow. These last 8 months have been one of the most negative experiences of my entire life.

I made a huge financial decision based on their lies and now I have to deal with the bullshit they caused for me every day. I really hate this fucking company.

You want a conspiracy theory?

Black Arrow's other business is credit card readers, perhaps Alex was made an offer by the credit card companies to sour Bitcoiners. MC already has lobbyists in the US congress so I know they're actively working on Bitcoin.

This delay looks like a total charade and if they're not mining with our boards then it's some kind of economic warfare.

Now you know how BFL customers felt (like me,with a first day order,June 2012,got my miner July 2013) with the 65nm fiasco......it's a real shame it came to this  Cry

I hope you guys can dig out of this with the compensation (BFL never even offered any),as little as it seems  Roll Eyes

This crap seems almost commonplace anymore.............................  Roll Eyes

31th July 2014 !!!!!! No shipping of the X3 yet. No tracking number. No answers. Nothing. No... Doh!

They answering to my support ticket (refund request) from yesterday:

We apologize for the lack of updates during the last few weeks; We have been very busy working with the factories to get your long awaited miner.

As you well know we have been shipping X1s for almost a month. In the last few days we began shipping X3s alongside X1s. We still have days until we finish all the queue.

During the last week we have fixed few issues with our products:
1. We found that Onsemi has given us wrong information regarding a controller; They have told us that NCP5392P is exactly the same as NCP5392E with only one pin difference (that we were not using). As they were in shortage of NCP5392P they sold us NCP5392E. However, after assembly we have found out that this controller fed wrong PWM to the mosfets shutting down the low side mosfet when it shouldn't. This resulted 5% of the mosfets burned and all miners were using 20-30% more power.
We are currently looking into how to correct the PWM of NCP5392E and will contact customers who have received boards with this controller in order to provide them with a fix. We have begun to rework thousands of boards in order to replace NCP5392E with NCP5392P.
2. During transportation hashboards were able to exit their slot therefore we needed to find a solution to fix this.

For these reasons we were unable to enter mass production for X3 last week.

We are very sorry about all these unforseen problems. Our customers are not the only ones suffering; We have been affected the most as we put everything we had into this ASIC. We have never started this ASIC in order to get rich but to be a better BTC ASIC manufacturer and provide high quality products. We have reached our targets so far but indeed failed to deliver on estimated time. We are doing our outmost to catch up and make up for the lost time.

Even though we spent on this ASIC more than the total amount that our customers we have spent, we still shipped everything we manufactured to our customers first. We have never mined with our chips with the exception of testing. However, the total amount earnt by us during testing customers's miners does not reach 1 BTC.

The reason why we've tested on live pool is that cgminer --benchmark is buggy: reports the speed wrong (1.4Thash on X3) and does not turn on the SPI leds to confirm that the miner is working properly.

We have always been upfront and never lied to our customers. We always kept them up to date with what is going on.
We are currently improving in every way and will be trying to make up towards our customers during the following months.

We are happy to report that we have overcome all obstacles and we are now mass shipping X3s as well.

Currently all orders are continuously being dispatched and shipped, and rest assured that you will be directly notified with the shipping details soon.

However, we understand that you might not agree with us and we'll offer you the refund if you decide to go ahead with it.
If you wish to proceed with the refund, please understand and agree with the following:
1. We can only pay the same way the payment was made, Black Arrow is not an investment or insurance company and cannot accept to be taken advantage of.

2. A refund request is final. We will not accept to reinstate your order if you change your mind later.

3. As per agreed terms and conditions of sale, we are not obliged to issue you with a refund and this delay is acceptable. However, we are doing our best to keep everyone happy and we'll issue the refund.

4. To cover time used to refund this order, for each transfer needed to be made, we will charge 50 USD and all 3rd party fees. In some cases, we might also need to charge a further 30 USD handling fee for each incorrect or incomplete transfer information provided by the customer.

The date for all FIAT refunds is after we are able to ship our products. We will be able to issue refunds after we start shipping our products as at that time we can allocate personnel to process this type of refunds. We will do our best to start FIAT refunds at an earlier date if we will have available personnel.

Unfortunately we cannot provide refund in FIAT currencies at the earlier date. If you wish refund for more than one order, we will refund all orders in one transfer to minimize the costs.

To process your refund request properly, kindly share your Banking details and Please feel free to contact us if you will have any further questions.

Sincerely,
hero member

Anybody who can help, please do so. I have support ticket unanswered for weeks and have contacted Black Arrow representatives via personal messages on this forum. They have logged in but never gave any comments. There is a war in my country and I need answers regarding order status very fast.
