X-1 ye, some. I got my 2.

Im sure the great leader will soon sit on national TV and say that BA was a great success and 14nm is currently being taped out.

In case they screw around with the online Ts & Cs, here's a PDF copy. The important bit is section 15.2 subsection 16.2.1 (the number error has existed since 2013).

Seriously though, what is the hold up?  At this point, I can't understand why more units aren't shipping. 

Bobsag said he saw all the backplanes and boards for the X3 while he was there.  So why aren't they shipping?

Ethics?  from what I can see they have none.  an endless series of missed delivery dates, screwing people they refunded in bitcoin by refunding bitcoin sent after price had tumbled, broken promise on price matching(which is huge), a total lack of fiat refunds as far as I know- and more.  

I am unfortunately one of their pre-order customers and I've been watching this all along.  what is most glaringly missing from their operation, aside from the ability to effectively develop mining equipment, IMO, is ethics.  they're attempting to hide behind a TOS that seemingly conflicts with Hong Kong law, their answers, when/if you can get them, on support and via e-mail are not answers at all in many cases but further excuses, and we are seeing cases now where people have requested refunds and their miners are being shipped out anyhow.  their resellers are also looking to me to be getting desperate as they claim they are not getting refunds from BA either and are therefore being forced to refund out of pocket, which is leading to their attempting to deny refunds and ship to people that have requested refunds also, which will undoubtedly lead to lawsuits and further actions against them also.

these people have created a total nightmare for just about everyone that has chosen to do business with them on this latest round of product

Agreed, it's a shit situation for everyone. I can't help but wonder however why you'd send all the money through as a reseller before ANYTHING ships. Perhaps a down payment or 50% to secure an order but the whole lot seems a little silly to me.

Regardless, here we are; all screwed. Time for some people to screw back

I have a 2nd unit that is on software version v1.6.

Any idea how to fix the software on the first box so it can update? I have tried 20 + times.

Have you tried power cycling the unit after you click the software update button? I have found that that can sometime get the update to "Stick" so to speak. I am currently working with them on a way to create a USB flash drive for restoring/updating the software directly.

Finally a post where I haven't been ignore, thank you! Well perhaps you could handle your team and get them to reply for you? Being left unattended for two weeks is a bit silly. Unless you're mimicking BA's customer service in which case you're well on target

I have jumped through all the normal hoops. This is one of the very early units so I am guessing there is some code oddness there. My newer unit is now running 1.7 without issue.

As an aside, the box is hashing just fine.

Try diff. browser; unplug power cord and try then; update Java ...

thats what someone sayd on the update page
