The folk holding these are the pre-miners, they have already pre-mined it before you even came here to pump it up.

I was there from start and believe me there was no instamine. The thread was on front page of announcements at all times so you couldn't miss it if you looked.
I mined 10k in 7 days(1Mh). with prices now its ridicously low
+ the dump has already happened while it was being mined, only way is up now.

I was there from day 1 also, mined hard from the start. I'm not giving my BlackCoins away for a long time. I love that POS facility, it works so well, I am accumulating more and only 75million coins in total so no-one to dump on me - 1% annual coin inflation, there's hardly a safer alt out there to store your BTC than BlackCoin.

He's claiming "hop on now and enjoy the ride" while it's at 800, this was several hours ago, still at 800.

As an early adopter I knew all of this. This is a 10,000 sat coin without a pump. But more exposure can only help. Lots of development going on in the community and the POS works perfectly
Funny how the trade volume is going up but the price is not realy doing anything. Its been 600-800 range off and on for a few weeks

That wiki page describes systems that are not actually in use in most (or maybe actually in any) coins.
For example ppcoin, and the coins cloned from it, does not use the signature block every 100 blocks that all the stakeholders sign, which is Meni's proposed method.
That page does not talk about ppcoin's method at all in fact.
Sunny King has always been very evasive whenever the problems in ppcoin are brought up, claiming to have put in fixes at times for example without indicating or revealing what they were or how he imagines they would work.
He was also proud of not having read any of the literature on proof of stake but having just made up ppcoin on his own out of the blue.
So basically just the standard scammer bullshit artist approach of "I don't give a shit whether it is secure, I am making money, fools are buying it, that is what is important not all the academic crap like whether it is or even could potentially be secure".
