CAPP is Cappasity on Cryptopia.

Yeah, did a double take when I saw CAPP in the list on Cryptopia. It is not the same CAPP that is mentioned in this thread.

Meh, I lost 3 million buying it on Cryptopia.

As if I am about to start buying it again on another exchange.

It was created new coins in the hard fork to reimburse cryptopia. The new coins would be given back to those with caps on the exchange. We just need to find a way to distribute the coins directly to the affected users. But it will be hard to get solid proof of ownership.

When Vampirus was giving out the CAPP coins all he wanted was very specific screen shots of the Trade history on Cryptopia.  Heck if you cannot move them off or in then thats the proof right there.  Anybody with anything on Cryptopia has been there since Nov / 2017.

Local wallets is a different thing.

I have your money from the Double Spend Attack on CAPS. I need to know you are on version 2.3. Then please send me a wallet address and exact amount you are missing so I can send those coins over to you. Thank you, Tranz

Hello,
I know you are very busy. Just let me know an approximate time frame to when you might be able to do this? I would just like to let the other users know.

Thank you!

Hello. I have seen you intend to delist CAP. Please before you do will you upgrade to version 2.3 and allow me to give you the coins that were part of hack?

https://github.com/bottlecaps-foundation/bottlecaps

People deserve their coins. Plus I can give you an addition 10 million if you allow CAP to stay on.

Thank you!

That's why I mentioned the chill in my heart earlier in this thread - I had a hell of a time getting a useful response from Cryptopia about a coin I was looking after (many tickets were immediately closed with a generic response), and that was BEFORE their latest scaling/support problems.

I know they probably have a bunch of "where's my money" and other n00b support requests, but it would be nice if they could find some way to give a higher priority to communication from coin devs, because ignoring them is ultimately going to increase their support load.

Not that Cryptopia is the only exchange with this issue, of course.

@Tranz,

Contact Trade Satoshi , they already have 3 markets for Caps you just need them to update the wallet and resync.

Good Luck.

 Cool

Thats also all Cryptopia had to do, instead they ignored the update request from tranz and delisted it

No way I will trust them holding my funds, I'll never shop there again  Smiley

Can't really blame them.  There was a real btc loss during that hack and the offer to them was not btc but cap, which could of been equal but wasn't apples to apples equal.

Only option I see right now is tradesatoshi.

  • How do we get them on the new wallet?
  • How do we update the OP with all the new information?  Exchanges typically want to go to the first post of the ANN, not a post somewhere else buried in the thread.

How did cryptopia loose any btc during the hack?

People in this thread and other users lost bitcoin to the attacker. I bought 2 million caps when the attacker dumped his coins. The btc I paid for those coins was lost to the attacker.

Right, and as an answer for it the coin is being de-listed instead of re-opened.  The real btc loss was by the people exchanging btc for cap that didn't exist.  The exchange makes btc no matter what in exchange fees.

The exchange's problem is the coins that were exchanged don't exist so your balance doesn't match up with the blockchain.  The solution was to have that one block that would make them 100% whole, diluting the coin supply but making it so that it would be allowed to continue.

Cryptopia decided instead to delist.

Do I like their answer?  No.  But it's their decision to make.

We need to move on and work with the exchange that also has cap listed and get them up to date and able to move on and shift our volume to there.

Anyone notice the balance on cryptopia for cap is no longer locked?  Trading still is "paused".  Wallet is still 2.2.x too.

Confirmed, the receive and send options are open.  Going to try and send 100 coins to my wallet.
Stay tuned

Update:  1,000 sent to my wallet been on processing status on Cryptopia for two hours.  My personal wallet is 2.3.0 is open and synced.  Nothing has left yet from Cryptopia.

Created a ticket on Cryptopia to return my coins that are stuck on PROCESSING.  DO NOT ATTEMPT to move your coins out yet.

Team, any word from Cryptopia on getting their coins or re-opining for trade?

Nope and now the coin is set to delist no market anymore.  But my ticket to simply upgrade was never done

Disappointing but I cant fault it as a business decision. They took a loss. Reading through the prior 20 pages of posts would cause the dust of Socrates to circumambulate as his notion of obligation took a hit. Time Cryptopia devotes to sorting it out puts them deeper in the red.

sorry all. Lets see how the exodus shakes out.
