nothing can be done with the large number of participants in campaigns, The only good rewarding part now is still the signature campaign where everyone cant participate, everyone can participate in the social media. have stopped the social media campaign for a period due to the work involved and the small reward earn, I prefer investing than social media activities.
I think if the rules of bounty become strict I strongly agree. But chances are if it happens all the participants who can follow bounty like facebook, twitter, media, telegram and translate only full member rankings. That's just my thinking.
Number of participants give a clue about the quality of the project but yet again you share the money distributed with many people. There is a tradeoff. However, with a good research, you may find bounties with less people for good projects.
with the number of participants bounty campaign I think the better to memanjukan an ico held by the project. as more and more supporters of the project are more trusted in an ico.
usually it happens in twitter and other social media bounties where participants are so many that we end up dividing the tokens to many people and receive just a little portion of it. I recommend that you stay away from the crowd like signature and translation campaigns can give more tokens than just the usual ones.

for the problem I prefer more participants because the supporters of the project will be automated ico on the project will be easy to succeed and the participants can avoid the project to be scam.

Yes, I agree with you. There are lots of members who wants to join Signature, Bounty, Twitter and Facebook campaigns. Because, bitcoin is getting more popular. And eventually will research about it, and end up being a member of the forum. It is hard to spot some good campaigns today. Since most of them is either low-paying or not too reliable. That's why I always do a background check to who are the campaign managers of the campaign that I will join.

I think it's because of the fact that it is less risky than investing your money on some ICO.

I think that it depends on the campaign managers. That's why it is better to have good managers on each and every campaigns. Some campaigns have strict rules and requirements to be met. Some does not accept users lower than Hero Member, and that cut offs the possible members in the campaign, that's why it is high-paying. But I don't see why it should be made stricter. You just need to take a lot of time browsing through the Bounties to find some good campaigns.
You are correct that social media bounties have became close to useless now days and with signature campaign we can join only one campaign at a tme to reward in bounties is getting limited with time... that’s why I am happy with this merit system so that not any spammer will become senior member and take that place
I participate in signature campaigns for more than half of a year - and yes, the number of participants slightly increased, but profits are still good.
I had another idea. They should limit how many people can join from a specific country or region. If you got like a shit ton of cheaters from Vietnam taking place in the bounties. I found 5 in just the last 3 days using my name to cheat and get telegram stakes, then that way you limit the amount of cheaters as well. Say only 300 maximum from each country should apply. I think something like this will limit the mafia from developing countries stealing all the bounties from those who really need it and are willing to work hard to earn their stakes.

i agree with that idea. kyc is indeed verry useful in order to eliminate those fake account and kyc is verry popular nowadays in terms of cryptocurrency but we also know that we need privacy and we should never expose our identity or give our important infos because crypto currency means anonimity or being private.
besides there were too many bounty everyday that we can join , so i guess there is really nothing to worry about this issue. You can always join other bounty if you cant be accepted to the other one.
participants wont really matter because what matter the most is the allocated funds for the project. some bounty allocates big reward even though they require too many members but there are also some that limits their participants in order to maximize the rewards.
One cannot stop others from joining bounties because they also want to make money. It's becoming more competitive for all bounty hunters.
