Private optimized  NVIDIA cryptonight kernal for sale. Only 0.1BTC

10% faster. (windows exe)

If I get 2BTC I could work on it some more and release the sourcecode.
I think 20% faster is possible

this will only promote greedy and centralization, you should release it for free

Tested monero mining on ccminer ( https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer-cryptonight ) on AWS GRID K520 ubuntu 14.04 instances, very bad result, very slooooowly, 165 H/s...

What are the alternatives, for cuda mining?

so the 750 ti is my reference for CUDA.
PNY VCGGTX750T2XPB-OC
that one gets 280 h/s

640 CUDA Cores
2GB 128-Bit GDDR5
with a 1202 Mhz system clock

http://www.nvidia.com/object/cloud-gaming-gpu-boards.html
so K520 has 800 MHz system clock ,

Oh there's your problem.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_600_series

its a 600 series.

for the love of god just buy hardware.

Doesn't AWS have GPU systems as well? Sorry I haven't used it in a while, but even when I tried, I couldn't seem to get any miner to work on those, only the CPU miners.

I remember getting like 400-500 h/s on the "large" series, the ones with many many cpu's, but I'm not familiar with a grid k520. I guess I better log in and see what's changed. Tongue

I have some AMD (5850, 6950, 7970) GPUs and want to mine some XMR. Do you think it is still profitable to mine XMR at this point?

If you have free power or believe XMR can go up in value and are willing to hold onto what you mine for awhile.

Doesn't have to be free just cheap. The main obstacle to mining at this point (even with free power for that matter) is the cost of the hardware but if you already have hardware it may be worth it.

Wolf's new AMD open source miner, windows binaries:

https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/wolf-xmr-miner-git.zip

the source files are available on his github:

https://github.com/wolf9466/wolf-xmr-miner

needs drivers "15.x - 15.7 or 15.7.1 works well". For a full discussion of testing so far: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/3yeid4/windows_binaries_of_wolfs_latest_version_gets_550/

If you can, please test the miner and post screenshots of it working. This version gets ~550 h/s on the 290x. Wolf0 has a new version that surpasses Claymore's but he is waiting for payout for the current milestone to release the new one.
