I agree that this should be practiced. There are huge benefits in this like the devs of the ICO would not worry so much on the price of their token getting dumped because bounty hunters sell their rewards immediately and paying them with Eth would not affect theirs.

You've to think from the team's perspective as well. It's easier for them to allocate a minor percentage of their indigenous token supply to bounty campaign. Many of them wouldn't have the funds to pay the bounty participants. And expect the reward pool to decrease substantially when the payout is in ETH. Of course, there are incentives for them as well - for example, paying in ETH would prevent the dumping of tokens by the bounty hunters thus affecting the price.

ETH has already been on the market, is a well established one and currently the market is looking good for it. So I think that it is good to be paid in ETH. However, when a bounty hunter signs up to a bounty, that altcoin, could end up being worth a lot more. Thus, if it happened, everyone would consider so much.

Actually, I've seen several bounties paid by Bitcoin or Ethereum. But, the campaign list is not much. Usually, a bounty that paid by BTC/ETH has limited participants.

I think this is the uniqueness of ICO project. They do not need to burn a lot of money to do their marketing, only using the tokens itself, the ICO team can gain enough exposure by bounty participants.

Good idea, I believe all bounty hunters are more willing to accept the same price of ETH. But the project side will not agree, because they need to do publicity themselves, so issuing their own token will bring more traffic to the market.

I totally agree with that, even that is seems like impossible to happen at this moment for a new project. there is few bounty campaign that pay us in ETH, but usually it is need more posting requirements than usual.

It is good to pay a fee to Bounty Hunter using Ethereum.
It will be an interesting ICO project and make many Bounty hunters participating.
But unfortunately, most project developers allocate funds on the coins they make so it is still a question whether the coins they developed are high-value coins in the cryptocurrency market.

Yes, it is bounty hunters good compensation when ICO's project they joining were paying ethereum coins after project were successfully launch. Because ethereum alts are already having good value in coinmarketcap and it will gives high amount of money to those fortunate bounty hunters who were involved. If these really happened there's no dump made at all because ETH is a very profitable altcoins.

I got your point that after ico there are many dumpers which affect the price of their tokens. One of these dumpers are the bounty hunters. So paying direct ethereum to bounty hunters would also be a good idea. Yet paying tokens is not bad, because bounty Hunter will have a chance to earn bigger than those with direct payments.

Maybe it's best for Bounty organizers to give Ethereum.
But giving Ethereum will reduce project profits and provide new coins as a promotional event for project organizers.
Therefore the project organizers reward the Bounty hunter is their coin product.

I think this is a very good idea for us bounty hunters because the chance for us to participate in a scam ICO is more likely to reduced. Paying ETH weekly is also advantageous to us will motivate us to work harder and smarter because we know that at the end of the week we are gonna get some coins for ourselves. One disadvantage i see in this scenario is that jr members will not benefit with this move.

Yes, this is a good idea mate. In this way those investors will not be problematic blaming dumps from bounty rewards. This way it won't affect their market. Commonly investor hate bounty hunters because of dumps that happen. If it will be controlled due to that solutions then it would be better.

this is good for bounty hunters but not for ICOs since not every ICO tends to get a good result, some of them don't even reach a 100k usd amount of ETH but they still pursue the project. part eth and part tokens they will release will be the best reward for bounty hunters Grin

I also strongly agree if the bounty campaign hunters are paid with ethereum. It will make the bounty campaign hunters more enthusiastic in following the bounty campaign. I am sure if paid with ethereum then many people who want to follow bounty campaign. Even investors will do side jobs following a bounty campaign. In my opinion, ethereum is an interesting gift. On the other hand, I think, if a bounty campaign is paid with ethereum then the tokens offered by ICO can be worthless. I am sure if ICO gives a token gift in a bounty campaign because it has another purpose to market the token to a wider market. If the tokens are held by many people, held by many bounty campaign hunters, so the popularity and purchasing power of these tokens is becoming higher.
