I personally as a bounty hunter do try as much as possible to check the team/devs of any project am participating in their bounty to be sure the project is feasible and be ascertain if my efforts will worth it at the long run.

That is not guaranteed to find good projects because they need to compete with other projects especially we can found that many projects have similarity with the other projects. We could only see that they are good projects or not by watching their project grow or not, and they can apply their plan step by step in the right time, they are very concern with the project and many other things that they need to do to make the project grow in the future.
Right now, I'm not investing in ICO anymore. Maybe, if you believe that the project will truly be successful, just wait for it to hit in exchanges. You can get a much better deal. Also, if you are doing the bounty tasks, select the trustworthy manager because he will not accept a job that he doesn't believe that will make it thru.
Agreed with the opinion of choosing a bounty through the a trustworthy bounty manager, doing this you are rest assured your efforts won't be waste.
ICOs now are complicated, even after doing research most tend to fall, I see most ICOs now as risk, you can never be sure of what the outcome will be, so prepare for the worst.

As a bounty participant, usually i do some research on the bounty that i wish to join to avoid getting deceived by any fake project. And the easiest step would be by choosing the bounty from any trusted bounty manger.
First I try to understand the solutions being provided by the project, then I look for other competitors their strengths and weakness, then I tey to evaluate how this present project tends to be better than them. If in satisfied I research on the team how knowledgeable they are and the type of community they have.
Bounty and ICO investment are two different things. While choosing bounty, I first give importance to bounty manager because a good bounty manager will not manage a scam project. On the other hand, investment in ICO requires good research on team, project.

the first and foremost thing I will see the popularity that how much people will interested and invested and that so it made me to take a quick and right decision then I have to choose a bounty or making an investment so this is the simple thing that I follow while choosing and investing. Choosing what ICO to invest on today is no brainer. Most of them can be easily identified if they are worth to take the shot or just a nuisance project that you shouldn't waste your time, money and effort with it.

This is why many bounty hunters will suddenly come out and complain on how bad the bounty was. You're only basing your choice base on how much they promised to pay you. Do you think that most of these projects now will give that 'higher reward' you expected?
When I will join the bounty campaign, then I will choose carefully a bounty campaign. I will choose a good project and will definitely pay. I will see on the Website, Whitepaper, Team and real products. If everything is good then I will join the bounty campaign.
For now I only invest in Bitcoin and Altcoin like Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and Stellar. Yeah, I think for now I don't want to invest in the ICO project.

It depends on the situation of the project wether it is good for investment or participating in different bounty campaign, if the project have given higher reward for the bounty hunter i would go for bounty.
Don't just follow it blindly, you should also make some research, big bounties are just a thing design by the team to attract more promotersbut usually when they offer big reward, the team are not so competent and they might go dark anytime.
You might make some good reward as bounty hunters can anytime dump their tokens, but the investors will be affected hard
since they are the ones who will hold and stay longer.
Do consider the the future also, don't look on the attractive side only, look for the future potential as well.

My criteria in choosing bounties were easy before which is to join those manager that has a good history of campaigns and positive ratings. But they are all gone now so it is up to me to make thorough research each time I see a bounty that has a potential to give me good rewards.
Well my strategy was to choose the right and not scam bounty as we can see many of the ICO was now a scam but to choose a legal bounty choose also a respectable and know campaign manager that you know they are promoting a bounty or ICO not scam. As an investor while the market is down invest more and keep patient and waitinwait for the coming bull run.
Well my strategy is to participate in bounty and at the same time invest for some good coin and I earn. It depends upon our own understanding about crypto. When crypto are falling we can invest more and stock it and wait for the very best time to sell crypto is all about patience, and I believe that if we don't have patience on this feild, we are nothing or we can't earn on it. So let's have patience so that we can earn soon when market rises.

I usually take a look at the Whitepaper, scrutinize it, the team members, partners and the ICO social media channels. This gives me an idea of if the bounty will be successful or not.
Now it is becoming more and more difficult to choose! But one thing is inevitable: it’s the manager’s view, the rating, the white paper!
