Same here, i don't join bounty campaign anymore since last year because it's hard to get paid nowdays on bounties. Most of the bounties that i joined always ended with not reached the softcap which i don't get paid in the end. I also prefer on trading and i do trading daily, it's better than bounties for me.
Finding a normal bounty is a big problem... Now on the forum several promising bounty in which you can earn decent money, not the useless tokens. It's a Veil, a Datablock and a Gexan!

I have reduced joining into the bounty campaign and now i am prefer to doing trading. Buying some altcoins and doing short term trading its more profitable.

Both bounty and trading is the way how to earn money by bitcoin just have little thing where trading needed money for joining and bounty is free but have waiting at the end for our earning and have exchange market to sell it.

That's a good decision, we need to be flexible to continue earning in crypto. Trading now is good because the market is bullish, bitcoin price has increased and it's still increasing, with that, I believe the time for altcoins will come.
What to do at this time is to buy altcoins and wait until it will start to pump and follow bitcoin's movement.

Some bounty still give big profit at the moment, but only few of them.Is not really apple-to-apple but if you compare it on how you can get money, it's kinda is.

If you equate bounty, especially now and trading very far away, because the bounty is now very slow, while trading we can still take profits, even though there is always a risk even though it is better to make a thread about bounty vs. airdrop etc.
Bounty has been badly affected in last one and half year. After the paramount of bitcoin at $22000 in December 2017, prices trended to drop down. They become so low in the whole 2018 that people start taking off their nose in bounties. This happened due to an immense decrease in wages of people. Well, I'm a hunter without regrets. In fact trading is not on my list currently. Complainants are either cheaters or opportunists that are not consistent or even inexperienced. Its just to know what you are getting yourself involved in. Most times attractive bounty rewards are shitty yet people run after them unsuspecting. They are still legit bounties and some of us are still smiling. Talking about trading, there are several instances where people lose their life savings in a split second. Which is better? None actually. Only a function of the person involved and how he does it
Bounty and Trading are different from each other I think. Because we no need to invest money to earning money from the bounty campaign. On the other hand, we need to invest money to earn from trading. A bounty can give you a chance to earn money freely and you can invest the money into trading. Its much be better if we can combine both. We earn token from bounty and trade it to others coin or convert it to bitcoin for saving our portfolio value. Bitcoin always be first choice because bitcoin is main cryptocurrency and base currency in market. But if want to trade with anothers altcoin, better find a legit altcoin

They are widely different things, bounties are essentially trading your skills or services for a reward,it brings in some cash but I really do not see it as huge form of investment.

If you really have the time and grasp the good market, I think trading and Bounty is very good and potential. Because through the work of Bounty and information on the forum you will know a lot of useful information and experience. Then you will accumulate and trade with more specific strategies. The decision depends on the person's situation
does he have money and the necessary skills to trade or not
If he has the money and skills itis undoubtedly better than the bounty.
That's two different things particularly, and it depends on who's doing it, you will have to put in more than physical effort to one than the other. Doing trading is nothing if money is not involved unlike bounty so they're not the same just in the same circle of crypto.
I have also observed long time ago that bounty to tending towards the end. To take precautions, i have decided to hold most of the tokens i got from previous bounties, because i believe that at the end, they will bring good yield, which i can use to start trading. Although i am into trading, but not that good at it. So i am thinking of learning how to go by it and put my best into it.

If so then I understand you but if you think there'll be another bull run anytime in the future, then you should as well note that bounties may be profitable yet again. For do one your focus should be hard or you can do either options trading is always for experience and same your luck. Should bounty participate in good project.
I think there is nothing wrong if they do these two activities, by becoming a bounty hunter and conducting trade in exchange with the results of the bounty campaign that is a smart choice because it can make your assets more numerous.
It is a pity that many bounty hunters have been too dependent on these bounty campaigns to generate income, and never took the trouble to learn the basics of trading, or save and invest in an investment fund that would serve as protection against the eventuality of a financial crisis.
