I didn't expect this but it has happened, Donaire won against Oubaali and I guess this will be the open gate towards the Inoue, this rematch will considering an act of revenge if he will able to win the match. Donaire now has on the record of (47 fights - 41 wins - 6 losses) it is very matching to Inoue.

My bad too as I made a bet at Oubaali but never thought that an underdog would beat him up. The game was lengthy as well as exciting to watch, specially the dangerously shocking performance of Donaire.
The left hook is still very dangerous, he looks dehydrated but his power is still their.
We got deceived, Oubaali was overrated but in the actual fight, we know who is dominant and saw it in our very eyes.

A big congrats to those who bet with him, is there anyone else here committing that they had also won the same as Donaire's achivement.

Gamblers will always love an underdog, so for sure riding on Nonito is a great achievement specially if you are a Filipino.

I agree that an underdog will be loved as the odds on him may not be favorable but chances of them winning the match are equally high in boxing matches as it is not about wins or losses, but stamina of the players.

Lots of Filipinos won their bets that was like 3/1 if you bet on Donaire they'll sure take it without hesitation.

Damn, Donaire is at the top of his game on this fight, I thought this fight would be close and leaning in Donaire's favor, but Donaire's counter punches are dangerous and it seems that Donaire is too fast for Oubaali. Incredible fight! and incredible performance and Win from Donaire.

Feel's good to wake up and see my winnings  Grin
congrats!!!

There could be some controversy, it seems that he throw the punch after the bell at the end of the round 3. Anyhow, a win is still a win, so props to the Filipino Flash and congrats to all bettors.
Nah, both of them threw a punch at the same time right after the bell rang, the only difference is that the punch from Donaire connected while the punch from Oubaali didn't.

Yes, it seems that Donaire has found his second win, so it's Donaire vs Inoue 2, I'm expecting that to happen. Or getting the winner of Casimero vs Rigo, that will also be exciting match, fellow Pinoy against each other or he will get his revenge against Rigo.

A big congrats to those who bet with him, is there anyone else here committing that they had also won the same as Donaire's achivement.

Oubaali throws only a few punches and had a hard time hitting Donaire. it looks as if he still a very inexperienced boxer despite having 17 fights with no loss.
got a champ belt again, congrats to Donaire, and congrats to myself.
Maybe he felt Donaire's power early, he is supposedly the active fighter and should throw a lot of punches. But Donaire is methodical here, countering with his power left hand, the timing is still there. Donaire was hit in the face, but he ate everything that Nordine throw.

do anybody think it wasn't fair that the referee still counted up to 8 in the 2nd knockout of Oubaali right where the end of the round sounded?
Open for debate, but referee decision is final. And I think it's a fair decision to count Oubaali.

What the heck, I do hope that Donaire will win here, so I'm betting that the fight will not go to distance:

I don't know though if I can watch the fight live, in any case, I will just sleep it over and waking up with the good news.

That what a vintage performance from Donaire, Oubaali looks amateurish to me, while Donaire seems to be very sharp and that left hook is still there and his over hand right.

There could be some controversy, it seems that he throw the punch after the bell at the end of the round 3. Anyhow, a win is still a win, so props to the Filipino Flash and congrats to all bettors.

Good Job for Nonito Donaire, I am having doubt that he may win via Decision but he showed that he is a dedicated boxer that he can still do it I am sure impressed with his performance Donaire had shown an exceptional fighter a Filipino could be and I think he has truly recovered from the lost to Naoya
Same thought mate , I even doubting the capacity of Nonito winning this one because of the age and also the past fight he shown to us.

Yup! he has shown his experience in this fight and I think that he can still do more just like Manny Pacquiao did after watching this fight I really think that he has changed tremendously, I think he has might learned from his previous fight.

As a fellow Filipino citizen I will support my fellow Filipino which is Nonito Donaire although he is the underdog here still I am supporting him because I know how strong he is and the matches that he performs. I've seen the stats and kda of them and Oubaali is still the good fighter when it will be based on their personal stats but who knows? We still not underestimate Donaire because we know how strong he is.

I think you are late mate, the fight has already been settle and Nonito Donaire is already the new WBC bantamweight champion, it was a great fight, and the flash really put Oubaali down 3 times, and just like you, I really think that Donaire will be having a hard time with Nordine Oubaali but it turns out that Oubaali is the one who's gonna have a hard time.

What a win by the Filipino Flash, I didn't expect that kind of win, he just turns the time back and we are like seeing the odds Donaire knocking opponents with his good counter punching ability. Congratulations, he is right, "The king is back".

Will this open an opportunity for Inoue vs Donaire 2?
I didn't expect Donaire to win on this easily, he knocked down Oubaali many times and the match ended in the 4th round via knocked out. The king is indeed back and yes age doesn't matter and Donaire proves this one. We might see more fights to come with Donaire after this win, but for now let's celebrate this Pilipino pride.  Smiley

Yeah right, Oubaali unable to counter those attacks from Donaire, seems that he remembered
those old days and the training camp bring everything back, Nice win for pinoy pride.

Likewise, the rematch against Inoue still alive after this win, but we don't know yet if that may happened
quickly as we will see another pinoy fighter to fight against Inoue.

Congrats to all who support and bets for Doniare.

We will surely see big fights as he is now the champion, something that Filipinos can be proud of again. Hopefully, Donaire and Casimero will not fight in the ring. Donaire is the first Filipino boxer who fought a championship this year, it's a good start, next in line is the Dasmarinas vs Inoue, if we will see an upset, that would again shock everyone.

i should have put a lot more on this one. this is one of my bets in boxing with higher odds that i won. didnt expect that donaire will finished this bout early. for sure, they will be eyeing inoue next. but only about couple of weeks and we will watch another worthwhile fight -inoue vs dasmarinas.
now, donaire got his achievement to be the oldest bantamweight champion in boxing history. that's quite a feat there.

The odds was like x3, and it was an easy win, you could have made more profit. And yes, Donaire is eyeing Inoue, he said it during the interview after the fight. I guess Inoue is really strong as he was able to stand on Donaire's heavy shots, but this guy Oubaali does not look durable, and he is not quick, unlike Inoue.

I guess I have to watch the Inoue vs Donaire's highlights.  Grin

Two Filipinos are now sharing the same achievement the other one is Manny Pacquiao, now Donaire can extend his boxing career to three more years, that performance is as good as the one he shown when he fought Darchinya, the same barrage of left hook counter punching and one big punch, he is rejuvenated, we will see more of Donaire he is very much comfortable in the bantamweight division.

Nobody is really expecting for Donaire to win the match that way. Overall, he is playing smart not getting aggressive and executing good counter punch as he is fighting against an 80% KO boxer with no record of loss and didn't taste the canvas once in his career.
That left hook in 3rd round that sent Oubaali down gave Donaire the momentum to become aggressive.

Sure Donaire vs Inoue 2 would sell out. I'm expecting this match next.

Congratulations to The Flash! I've just got the word when I've seen the tweet of Manny Pacquiao.

And congrats to the Filipino community as well because I'm sure they are all proud of this Nonito Donaire's success.

At first, we could see that Oubaali is the aggressive fighter and checking the distance between them, while Nonito Donaire is pretty much calm and waiting for the right moment to strike back I think that Donaire had learned something after fighting Naoya Inoue, So Congrats to all who bet on Donaire we have profited a lot because of him.
Yeah I'm watching it now and looks like Oubaali dominating the game but it did not come to His senses when Nonito took over.
