The re-match clause correctly balanced the payout terms in the favour of the victor 60%-40% but exactly what was Wilder complaining about. Fury was ready for the match and agreed several dates before the December 2020 one but again Wilder was running about creating smokescreens ultimately forcing Fury to walk away and seek a fight with Joshua.

Fury did nothing wrong here, it seems Wilder was the one who was finding excuses to avoid the fight.

I'm actually curious about their battle contract? I see a lot of news that is only written, if there are official documents, maybe everything is clear. Does anyone have that? If in Fury's statement how many times has Wilder postponed the match, if that is true I think Wilder needs to do an evaluation, and Wilder also cannot sue that to happen because I think the Fury team is already disappointed because the deal was postponed by Wilder until his contract expires.
There is a rematch clause in the agreement in the second fight and all the television channels were clamoring about it about the time period in which Wilder should revoke his rematch clause and if he does the money split will be 60% to Tyson Fury and 40% to Wilder. Now what the reports are coming out is that there are disputes in the agreement and there will be clause for Tyson to reject the rematch if it is not favoring him and hence Wilder is crying about it now Cheesy.

Fury vs Joshua is surely gonna be bigger than Fury vs Wilder fight 1 and 2.

They call it a mega fight that will happen in 2021.

Fury won and Wilder lost - these are facts that cannot be denied. Both are blaming each other for the lack of arranging the third fight but in the end I am unsure what Wilder was waiting for. Fury was desperate to get in the ring and defeat Wilder again as per the contract clause but he could not wait forever for Wilder to accept that he was not in a position to demand anything from Fury.

Now it seems all talk is about Fury-Joshua in 2021 and Fury would be able to command a bigger pay day fighting Joshua rather than Wilder especially after Wilder seemed to use delay tactics to drag out the third fight taking place.

Wilder finally came out of hiding. In a twitter thread he threw out some conspiracy theories about Fury cheating and putting a dent in his skull. After previously claiming that Anthony Joshua had ducked him now he is saying that he was offered more money to fight Joshua but he chose to fight Fury instead. He is also demanding that Fury give him a rematch. His allegations do not seem very credible to me and by sounding so deranged he might cost himself the opportunity of ever getting a rematch.

Wow, is Wilder accusing Fury of illegally wrapping his gloves ala Margarito vs Cotto? Why did it took so long for him to come up in the public and lay claims to this? To be honest, it doesn't look good at him though, at he seems to be throwing every excuse you can find in a book, first, he said it was the custome that he used, weighting 40 lbs that drain his strength in the fight and now this?

I angry that this is out of character specially coming from Fury, the worst is that he is throwing bible quotes as well. We all hope that he is doing good, because the supposedly trilogy became a cluster fuck now.

Wrong move by Wilder, instead of acting professional, now he is acting like crazy accusing the champion of anything, I doubt this fight would still push throw, no promoter would like a boxer who does not respect the contract or does have the words, he might have forgotten that he is not anymore the champion now.

That's what my thought as well, I think it's fair to say that he honor his word after the first fight and give Fury his rematch, although according to him, he was offered more money to fight Joshua back then. But it's a different scenario back then, no Covid-19 and it's easy to set up a fight with this magnitude.

And as pointed by @bisdak40, there camp is the one delaying the fight and now that the contract has expired for a rematch, he suddenly went public with this loaded gloves accusations. Now it's turning more of a shit show and boxing fans are just scratching their heads with this new revelation coming from him.

Wilder can't do anything if Fury will not give him an opportunity to fight with him, which sympathy will Wilder get? People know that Fury is the better fighter, beat him almost twice so there's nothing to prove again. Fury is not getting any younger too, he is looking for the biggest fight of his career and Joshua could give that to him, so who would resist that opportunity, a chance to prove that he is the best, plus a chance to make huge money.

@Yaunfitda. It is the only fight to organize especially after the way Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua showed their superiority over Wilder and Ruiz.

Also, who would like to watch a trilogy? Maybe only angry Wilder fans hehehe.
We can't discount that fact that there could be fans of both side wanting to see a trilogy to really settle the score between the two. However, since Wilder opted not to fight Fury and with lots of excuses from both camp, we might not see this trilogy in years. Fury's camp have denied the accusations, so where do we go? let Fury and Joshua fight next and let Wilder choose his own opponents for his next fight, easy peasy.

@mirakal. I only used Pacman versus Hatton 2 as an argument.
Yes of course.

Similar to the question would Fury versus Wilder 2 generate the same income as Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua heavyweight titles unification?

Boxing promotion is a business.

Fury vs Joshua is surely gonna be bigger than Fury vs Wilder fight 1 and 2.

Pacman versus the Mexicans are different hehe. I am with you in that argument, however, would you like to watch Pacman versus Hatton again?
If hatton would ask for a rematch then probably people will still watch because they are looking for Manny here, but not the same success in the first match since the first fight was obviously a big win for Manny.

Wilder's performance in part 2 does not deserve a trilogy. Fury's performance in part 1 deserved the rematch.

@Kemarit. There was someone from Wilder's camp in Fury's dressing room and from Fury's camp to Wilder's dressing room aside from the officials of the state athletic commission. This is required, I reckon.

If there's  rematch clause then he can ask for that regardless on how Wilder lose in the previous fight.

@Natalim. However, this is also a business. What will make more money for the promoters, the athletes and the advertisers? What fight do the millions of casual boxing fans want to watch? The trilogy or the unification?
The most important is the ones who are fighting,  during the fight of Manny Pacquioa vs  Morales and Manny Pacquioa vs Marquez, I didn't mind whatever they call it but I love to see them fight as it was not really a one sided fight, unlike this fight where we have seen Fury already defeated Wilder, almost 2 times if the first fight does not resulted into a draw.

And the plot thickens, LOL, the burden of proof is still on Wilder's camp, his trainer or someone close to him should be in the dressing room observing when Fury's gloves are being wrapped up, so that they can see if there are no extra substance, "plaster of paris" as in the case of Margarito when when his trainer notices something odd and it literally feel, causing alarm. And looking at his previous wins against Cotto, wherein Cotto's face where similar to Wilder, after the fight. (But I'm not saying that Fury has a loaded gloves).

But still this is all accusations right now and for sure Fury's camp will deny this. So the ball is still on Wilder.

Thanks for the update.

Actually I'm a little bit confuse, the two camps are saying the opposite.

Fury's camp says there was no rematch, clause by Wilder says there was.

Which one is telling the truth?

There was a rematch clause in the contract of the second fight but Fury's camp is insisting that it already have expired. It is not publicly published but I think they have their lawyer looking on that matter.

On the other hand, it seems that the Wilder camp is buying some time for the third fight and they are playing around to delay the schedule.

Wilder had enough time to negotiate a deal with Fury as the rematch clause was invoked but he was playing games so it is only right that Fury will be going for bigger things such as trying to get a fight with Joshua in 2021
