Tyson Fury did not cheat but it is surprising that Wilder and his team still seek excuses for his defeat rather than accept the better fighter won. Simple.
First they blamed it on the heavy costume then on other things and now on Fury being a cheat. Wilder is a sore loser
Did they really say that? I mean, what are the basis of the accusation?
Fury convincingly beat their kid Wilder in the rematch, they are just lucky to have a draw in the first fight, so they better keep their mouth shut and show up in fight number 3.
You can really expect some reasoning from the opposite side but its clear into the eyes of people on how their kid beaten up by Fury.
If they would like to comeback or would prove out something then they should need to take down Fury on next fight to prove anything.
Baseless accusations about cheating wont really be taken seriously if people do see the actual fight without any strings attached.
Tyson Fury was on British television this morning speaking openly about mental health as well as trying to keep focused and keep physically fit while waiting for the fight to take place. He made it clear he would not want to fight unless fans were present.
His promoter (Frank Warren) was also live in the same interview and he said the Fury-Wilder II fight had the largest gate receipts in the history of boxing and he said they need fans present in the stadium or arena otherwise the fight simply could not go ahead.
They do really plan to resume the fight when this pandemic is over and they do much prefer that this would be done in front of lots of fans which is understandable.
Neither this do talks about revenue and at the same time the ambiance is totally different when a great fight do happen in an empty stadium compared to which its been filled up with people.
I do understand their side.So it doesn't matter if this one would be a long wait.
