@freedomgo of course all would disagree with him calling Casimero less experienced, because it clearly shows that he’s not following this sport, and in my opinion this is not acceptable out here where each one only posts if they follow this sport.
You'll know when a poster knows the sport or not, the way they post you can tell already, I hope he is not only posting for campaign requirement or whatsoever but as much as possible let's post all the facts only and opinion with proper basis.

Further I feel he’s wrong as Casimero can definitely cause an upset as he’s a warrior, and with Manny in his corner it’s foolish to expect that he’ll be defeated so easily.
Manny will not be in his corner I guess.. he just own the MP promotion but there are people who trains him and he has his own coaches, but Manny can give inspiration to Casimero and maybe give him some tips to win.

Exactly, I know that almost everyone who posted here have their sigs, however, when someone posted just to get his post count for his current campaign, I think there's something wrong with that. And he will be called, just like what happened here. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, but there are facts specially in sports that we like.

Damn, looks like Casimero is really in shape for this fight. He is always in shape on every fight, but this sure is very different because there is so much at stake. And with Manny Pacquiao behind him, I'm sure he is going to put everything on line and don't want to disappoint his boss.

I do hope that he can upset the Monster here and bring back the crown to the Filipinos once again.

His physique doesn't look any different from previous fights IMO.

He's still the smaller fighter, lower reach, less experienced and older. It's over for him, even with Pacquiao in his corner.

I'm going to place a bet for a round 8-12 KO by Inoue.

Lmao, how can you say that his physique is the same when you even don't know how experienced Casimero is? I'm saying that he is in shape because the fight is many months from now and yet he maintained his shape and ready anytime to fight.

Of course, he is the smaller guy here, the more compact your physique are, the harder you can punch specially if you hit the target right in the chin. And that target will simply go down just like what he did to his previous fight.
I think this thread has a lot of Casimero fans as I observed, maybe OP, you can also add a poll to see which boxer has a lot of fans, just to confirm because what I was saying is just my observation.  Let me be the first one to cast my vote.  Grin

You have the right to place your bet on Inoue, after all he is the favorite here.

But saying that Casimero is less experienced? Are you sure of that? LOL. He had defeated champions from their own turf and even involved in a melee in Mexico as far as I can remember.

He is small, no question about that, but he is one of the most explosive fighter and he is really going tooth and nail here, not because he wanted to avenge Nonito, but he has all the leverage and tools and the heart to win against Inoue.

@BALIK , I knew many would disagree with you calling Casimero less experience, well that is your opinion but that is not based on facts.

you can check the comparison here https://boxstat.co/bout/2920779/john-riel-casimero-vs-naoya-inoue

Casimero had 29 fights compared to Inoue with 19 and yet you called it less experienced. come on....

@Kemarit - you're correct, Casimero has travelled a lot, not just in Mexico, but in Argentina, Nicaragua, Panama, even in UK, USA, China, South Africa, and Thailand. So he is one heck of a globe trotting boxing.  Smiley

@BALIK - we really do respect your opinion, but at least try to check out the record of Casimero first before saying that he is the less experience fighter.  Smiley

Lol, I really don't know if you are a boxing fan or have followed Casimero's career because you really don't know what this guy has went thru his boxing careers. But I'm sure by now you already know as others have pointed out already. They also said that Pacquiao is smaller for the welterweight division, just saying.  Grin

I would agree with him being the smaller fighter and lower reach but less experienced, I think no, because he has fought more times that Inoue and he has been fighting all over the world and that's the experience he has. In addition, talking about his height and reach, look what he did to his previous fight, Tete was way taller than him but he knock him out pretty quick.

He really need to prepare big time in this fight because all boxing eyes are going to watch this one. We haven't heard so much hype lately specially in the lower weight class. And maybe this fight will bring back the needed exposure for this special fighters. The fight is going to be held stateside and everyone wanted to see how good this Monster from Japan is. But the Filipino Casimero will try to derail his coming to the US for sure.

this is one of the biggest fight Filipino has been waiting, because Inoue is being tagged as a young Pacquiao while Casimero is a Filipino fighter that will not let foreign boxer to take the title from Manny.

while you are right that i thought it was Dasmarinas but it is fine because if Casimero did not beat inoue then he will have a chance to take it.
Actually Inoue last fight is also filipino fighter too Donaire and that match was a good match. I don't know Casimero but it seems will be a good fight. Tbh Inoue is my best 1 pound for pound ranking for me, he has a huge power, speed and aggressive. Let's see if casimero can endure that.

Without a doubt, Inoue is the huge favorite on this match because of the hype he got plus the fact that almost all of his fights end in a knockout. What i like about this fight is that Casimero is so determine to show the world that he could tame the Monster and show them all who's the real monster in the ring  Smiley.

I've been following Casimero's career since he is local boy here in our place and i never see him so determine like this. I think he want to show his boss (Manny Pacquiao) that he deserve this fight and he ready to conquer Las Vegas.

We still have 2 more months left. The odds will definitely change as the fight approaches. The last minute bettors will change it all and I still cannot decide who to bet for this match. The majority is with Inoue and he's not that ordinary fighter, he won against Donaire but, we can't also ignore Casimero. I think, I'll wait until we see some updates and how the progress of their training. We still have plenty of time until the date of the match.
There's no doubt that odd will favor the champ since he already proven his worth but changes might happen before and while the fight is ongoing. Casimero's supporters will bring impact once they shown support to this young fighter. It's good to place your bet when the game still far if you
are in favor for Casimero as you can get much higher winnings.
This happens every time the match is getting nearer to the said date. I'm still thinking about it. I have ample time to think whether to bet for Inoue or Casimero.
As you have said, things might change as we're approaching near to the fight day.

You can really see the dedication of casimero into this fight.
Both fighters are really dedicated in what they are doing, Casimero and Inoue are both working hard to win, so may the best man wins.
This could potentially be a fight of the year if both fighters will go toe to toe and we know Casimero is not gonna back down but Inoue is a smart fighter who knows what to do in tough situation, if he allowed Donaire to dictate the game, he could have loss in the past but he was smart enough, he changes his style and still win in the end. Anyway, this should be a different fight though, should be better than the Donaire fight.

Don't worry, once the betting odds are out, for sure people who supports Casimero will try to bet early.
Even me, I am already thinking that I would take the odds for Casimero whatever the odds will be because I know he will be the underdog.

He would really be an underdog for sure yet we know that Inoue would be the heavy favorite on here.
Lets see if this 2nd attempt of a Filipino boxer would succeed or not/ still the same outcome with Donaire.
This one wont really be an easy yet that Jap fighter is a good counter heavy puncher. There still few months
for preparation and i cant wait to see on how these fighter clash on the ring.

You can really see the dedication of casimero into this fight.

I still remember that fight between Inoue and Donaire, the odds was x10 for Donaire,
At the later part the odds changed and it lower to x6 to whom who bet for Donaire.
For this CASIMERO vs INOUE!
I will go to a Filipino pride again, a much younger than Donaire and stronger puncher.
But this will be an odds in favor of Inoue i think, the destroyer from Japan.

Yes, our decisions may be change after this one, I am sure that as soon as we can see their weight, their gestures, their preparations there will be a slight chances that our judgement will may be change, who knows right? I think I would go to Casimero since he's my contrymen, kidding, but because of his ability and strength I go with him.

We have no idea what the betting odds for this fight, but if it will be out soon the better.
Right now, we can only think that the odds is like lower compared to the odds Donaire got when he fought Inoue and I know a lot of Filipino fans lose on that fight.

Well in that case, many Filipino will likely to watch this fight and ofcourse , we all want to bet for Casimero, because he could be a game changer when he defeat Inoue, let us just wait for the fight, and wish for Casimero a victory.
