I hope so too. Maybe he is doing exhaustive training now and will do light training when the fight gets near. There are still two months remaining before their fight and I think a month of rigorous drills should be enough while he conditions himself on the last month before going to Japan. I'm starting to have mixed feelings about what Tapales has been doing lately. It seems like he's moving away from being a humble boxer and trying to imitate what Casimero has been doing. I understand that he's training hard, but maybe he should keep his words to himself and just focus all his energy into training.

He need to train very seriously as this is the biggest fight of his training. As we have been saying, he shouldn't live an stone unturn in this fight. He need to be ready at 100% capacity and be motivated both mentally and physically. Usually fighters train for 8 -12 weeks and then be at peak during the fight night. I think Marlon is good and will not be overtrain.
Tapales went to the US in late August in order to train. So it's 4 months in total until December 26 which is too much for the body. Can we have an official source to these? As far as Inoue is concerned, he is not a type of boxer that target a certain boxer in terms of he really want that to be his opponent. Marlon Tapales isn't on Inoue's radar but since the Pinoy boxer got the championship belt, then he needs to fight him as that was a mandatory to become the undisputed champion in the Super Bantamweight Division.
Maybe that list is those who wants to face Inoue instead and try to keep the monster at the Super Bantamweight for the meantime.
Luis Nery is honestly just full of talks. He won't stand a chance against Inoue. On the list, it's really John Riel Casimero as a better opponent for him although even I will support Quadro Alas here, Inoue is seems to be the better fight over him. He need to be ready at 100% capacity and be motivated both mentally and physically. Usually fighters train for 8 -12 weeks and then be at peak during the fight night. Even if he drop some nasty words towards Inoue still I'm convince that this guy is humble man and he just release some certain statement so that he will have courage to face Inoue in the ring then also have some swag effects on interview.
I don't think he needs to engage in trash talk if it's not his nature, especially against a boxer like Inoue, who's aptly called "the beast." This is arguably the biggest fight of his career, and in terms of promotion, they're looking to ensure they'll have a bigger earnings, which often means grabbing the attention of fans. Nah, I don't think that Tapales has the swag like that, this Filipino boxers came in poor like Manny Pacquaio, so they are really very humble in boxing even if they become a world champion because they still think were they come from. Exception to the rule is John Riel Casimero, however, it seems that his arrogant lifestyle has caught up with him. I think they are of different personality though, maybe this is just to hype that fight and give him some psychological advantage. As we all know boxers wanted to promote and hype their fight to the point of trash talking their opponents.

For sure, he has put 110% of himself in training because he wanted to pull the biggest upset for this year if he beats Inoue. But we will see, it's good that you are motivated and have the heart, but Tapales needs to execute everything perfectly on what their strategy to beat Inoue.
That would be a great title for him. Upsetting Inoue is like an uphill battle, but there's always a possibility. We shouldn't lose our trust in Tapales because he is only few of the Filipino champions now. I have to say that Tapales isn't as hyped as Casimero because some fans think that it should be Casimero who will be fighting Inoue. But a win here will certainly put him at the top and make him the best in the super bantamweight division. It would be a huge setback for Inoue if that possibility becomes a reality.

I'm starting to have mixed feelings about what Tapales has been doing lately. It seems like he's moving away from being a humble boxer and trying to imitate what Casimero has been doing. I understand that he's training hard, but maybe he should keep his words to himself and just focus all his energy into training.
Calling himself a "nightmare" for Inoue sounds a bit funny because no amount of trash talk is likely to disrupt Inoue's focus.
So, Tapales should probably focus more on studying Inoue's training and preparing accordingly.

I think they are of different personality though, maybe this is just to hype that fight and give him some psychological advantage. As we all know boxers wanted to promote and hype their fight to the point of trash talking their opponents.

So, this fight is now official for December 26 in Tokyo Japan. This only means that whatever Tapales asked was given by uncle Bob.
This fight is history in the making for both fighters as a win by Tapales would make him the only Filipino to have unified the four prestigious belts and on the other hand, Inoue will be making buzz across the boxing world as the unified champion in two weight divisions in just two fights.
It's just good to note that finally this fight has already a schedule.
