I still have doubt in me if Mike Tyson can win this fight due to his age, comparing the age differences between Mike and longan, Mike is far in age. I don't know if his punches will still be heavy as before. Based on experience I know Mike Tyson to be good fighter. Let see as it goes.

As has been said many times, Mike is in very good physical shape despite his age. If you really want to know what kind of shape he is in, you can find some videos of his workouts on the internet. Of course he may not move as fast as he used to, but many young boxers can only envy him.

Once you become a boxer you already a boxer also as you see mike Tyson he still having a good body like he still in capable to make a right still he has the name one of the greatest boxer, looks like still at this age he still having a gym to make sure still healthy. But of course, there's a lack in this like not too much fast and active on the ring still he has tons of experience from different fights to use in the match so still higher odds to win is to Mike.

Why else would you put yourself through that?  These fighters are putting their health on the line.  Mike Tyson even said he used to cry before fights because of what he knew he was going to do to the other man in the ring.  He literally had a traumatizing moment before every fight that most kids today would probably be seeking PTSD medication for.  It isn't something he wanted to do or enjoyed.  He hated hurting people and talks about it quite openly nowadays.  Now that Mike has become a serious businessman and could use funds for investing in himself, this sort of fight is like a lifeline for him.  It better be about money, because I am a huge fan of Mike and want to see him have all the success in the world and for him, the future isn't in the boxing ring, it's in the boardroom.
I am following his podcast but i have not heard about Tyson saying that he would crying before the fight, but he used to be terrified about the fact that anything could happen in a fight. From what i heard he usually views himself alone fighting against the world and he is a really knowledgeable person when it comes to fighting and in his early days Tyson used to workout like anything knowing that his opponent will be doing the same.

In one of his podcast he even says that, in the later part of his career he knew that his opponents were scared about facing him and that is when he stopped training hard. Boxing is like a rush for Tyson and i want him to enjoy life rather than boxing at this age.
I don't follow Mike's podcast but I read about him crying before every fight more than once all because he doesn't enjoy the kind of person he always becomes when inside the ring.
I don't read about him stopping hard training at some point when he knew his opponent are scared of facing him but judging by his fight when he beat I can't see the same flame I always saw in him during his prime.

And you don't expect to see it anymore because his professional career is over, he has hanged his gloves a long time ago but only back here to fight in exhibition fights because of his passion and the money he will make. I also believe that his purpose is good because the last time I remember, when he fought Roy Jones Jr. he donated his share to the charity, which not every boxer would do.

There is no way Mike Tyson will lose this fight willingly just for the sake of money. The reputation he has built over the years can't be given up just like that.
If the fight is scripted it will just be that Mike Tyson will receive a few punches as well but Mike Tyson won't give up losing the fight for money sake.

If we were only going to base on the record or reputation that Mike Tyson has built for all the years of his life in boxing then I will going to agree with you mate that there's no way that this man will lose however as a bettor and boxing fans we will not only rely on the record but also on the physical well-being of the fighter too. Mike Tyson is already on aged, he is also a human being that his skills, agility and strength do speed down and changes. No one is telling that he is not a good fighter but through his aged that's why I think Logan Paul has the edge on this upcoming bouts.

I honestly would avoid betting on this match because its just an exibition and can go eitherway just because of that.If Mike Tyson was a little younger he would just destroy Logan Paul. But we have seen the match with Mayweather,Logan Paul went the distance and he just wanted that. Logan Paul has the only advantage that he is younger,if Mike Tyson gets him once its over.

I'm not gonna do that, I like to have some fun while watching the fight and I'll probably spare some amount in this fight.

Mike Tyson is old, no question about that and yet he is still the favorite to win in this fight.

So what could that probably mean?
Is it maybe because the fans are hyping it?
when they hear the name Mike Tyson, do they automatically think he'll win?

Betting for the sake of additional excitement, I assume that you are also one of those fans who watched how Mike fought before, it's really difficult for Paul to avoid Mike aggressiveness, though the problem might be on the promoters side, from the last fight with Jones it was clear that mike win that match, but the judge decide to give these old timers a draw.  Roll Eyes

If that's possible, it's tough to place your money but again, depends on how you wanted to enjoy and how much amount you are willing to stake while watching the fight.  Tongue

But still, not all people are like Tyson, many differ very little from animals and, as you know, they love aggression, dominance over someone, etc. This is the dark side of human nature, but it cannot be denied. Yes, most likely, having come to the heights in most athletes, only adequate motives remain (the desire for money, prosperity, positive), but who knows what they were when they started their journey.

Do you think that Mike is still as aggressive as he was 20-30 years ago? Back in past he was hungry for fighting, victories, got all that testosterone from pumping iron and taking medicine. I dont think that he can go so much in a fight, that in a fit of aggression can bike Logans ear ? Smiley

As you've mentioned "dark side of human nature". Dont you think that comes from eating meat? I am not a scientist, but wont eating meat (specially raw) turn human into primal? I dont want to turn this into a heavy off-topic, but Mike is being vegan for ages already Cheesy

Testosterone levels in men steadily fall with age, this is biology and it is difficult to do something about it. But during a fight, adrenaline and not testosterone may decide everything, let's see what happens.
By the way, I didn't know that Tyson had been a vegetarian for a long time, so now my confidence that Paul has a chance has only increased   Cheesy
I have a lot of respect for meat and respect for vegetarians - the less they eat, the more I will get  Grin

it's a memory of the past.
okay for when he was still in his productive age it made sense but now it's different. Their age difference is 29 years and this is enough to explain their stamina.
Even though Logan is still far from Mike, but still, we can't rule out Mike's 55 years of age.

Yeah, I think the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones should be a fight that we learned from this exhibitions match.

They can be rigged from the fighters themselves to judges. Everyone see that Mike should have edge Roy Jones but the judges score it a draw and for sure many was surprised to see the results.

So I agree that it's better to avoid this exhibitions matches for now. As the results could be rigged.

Ofcourse there's the hype built up amongst the fans because it's none other than Mike Tyson himself.
He is the living legend in boxing which is also another reason why many have the faith on him to win the match.
Even I would place my bets on him because of the experience he has. It just requires one solid punch for the knockdown.
I think Mike Tyson can deliver that punch while defending all the punches from Logan.

One solid punch will take this fight away from Paul, Tyson is a living legend as what you have said.

Paul can keep on running to avoid any big damage from Tyson, stamina might be his advantage but uncareful move will endanger him.

The hypes for Mike is always there, old fans still believing on him and those new fans who are haters of Paul, they will also see this as

good chance to bet against him.

So you say that Logans power is now more superior or much compared with Tyson at the moment? I dont see the same thing too but you could also be right.

He might not be that aggressive compared into this prime days but doesnt mean that he wont able to take down Logan.

Well, there would really be some script that there should be no serious injuries on this one which means power punches
wont really be that in full scale.

I think, that if before Iron Mike was interested in his career now he is only interested in money.
It's mostly about money for most people. I mean if I offered you 1 million to step in the ring with Logan Paul would you? Of course you would, there's a very minimal chance of getting hurt from a Mike Tyson perspective, a butt load more money than 1 million pounds to be paid, and he gets to do something he enjoys. Exhibition fights are literally the icing on the cake for professional boxers once they've passed a certain age. I don't blame them on milking it.

Well first of all no one would offer me such money because I am not a famous person and secondly I would refuse to take part in such a fight because health cannot be bought for any money. History shows that you can not only get seriously injured during the fight, but also die in the ring.

The thing is, when people do one thing for so long and experience highs like he has, they tend to seek that again and again throught their life. So the motivation here might not be money, or even the thrill of boxing, but just the pursuit of that feeling you get from the whole experience. That would make much more sense to me that him doing it just for the money.
