@bisdak40. This video would show that father time does not matter for Pacman hehe. His speed never went away. He might also be one of these special athletes similar to Tom Brady. Brady is 43 years old and he carried his team to win the superbowl hehe.

Yeah, I agree with the comparison to the GOAT Tom Brady, who nobody believes that he can still the trigger and win one more super bowl, but he eventually did against all odds.

So we will see, if Pacquiao wins against Spence, he will be in the Mt. Rushmore of the greatest boxers in the last 20 years to lace the gloves. Specially defying father time and fighting young boxers and winning against them. Legacy wise, Manny is above Floyd in my opinion.

Pacman speed is amazing, we all know that hehe but the only thing that I will closely watch during the fight is his stamina and endurance.

In his last fight against Thurman, he seemed gassed out in the 2nd half of the fight in which Thurman came back to make it a close fight. I watched every Pacman fight since Barrera and that is the notable change that I have seen in him, he seemed to pause and take a breather.

Being a compatriot, my heart is for Manny but my wallet is not hehe.

Thanks for sharing the video, I'm watching it now, and I do believe that Manny could still compete with the young champion, and beating Spence should be a great achievement at his stage. The bookies are just underestimating Manny that's why he is the underdog now, but that's it, we fans knows better.

If fever Pacquiao wins this one which I'm hoping he will, he will eclipse Mayweather's record, and Mayweather cannot claim anymore that his record and legacy is much better than Pacquiao, he is fighting Youtuber which he cannot even knock out, while Pacquiao is still fighting high caliber champion and one of top boxers in the pound for pound rankings, a win by Pacquiao will resolve who between Pacquiao and Mayweather has the better record and legacy.

I'm sure Spence are not going to take Manny lightly, he knows that. Manny is a legend and has so many experienced. And even if Manny is in his 40's he has proven that he can still fight toe to toe with the best, including Spence himself.

Maybe he just want to psyche himself with those statements. But Manny are not affected by it, he will surely laugh, but inside, Pacquiao mindset is very different.

That would be his biggest mistake if he takes Manny lightly but i think that's not gonna happen because Spence would not become a champion if he lacks that discipline. This fight, i think he's gonna train hard for this as this kind of event doesn't come always in a boxer's career and he is lucky that he is the one that got this fight as many aspires to be on the opposite side of Manny in the ring.

Manny has nothing to lose in this fight, people already believe that he is not getting any younger that's why in the betting odds you can tell that Spence is heavily favored. Spence has to train harder than he usually do, Manny has been in many battles in the past and have won most of them.

At least he can retire peacefully if he loses because he fought a young and once of the best fighter in his last fight. However, I don't really see it easily happening in this fight, if this will be a controversial fight, or will result to a draw, we might see a rematch or a possible trilogy.

Father time isn't on Manny's side so I think if we can't see a rematch here if the decision of the judges would be controversial, besides there is no "rematch clause" stipulated in the contract.

There's a new article that I've read that Manny would fly to the US to train in the Wild Card gym of Freddie Roach on the early weeks of July, that's before the SONA of the Philippine President, so he have more time training in the US.

That's good news, he also has a purpose behind this fight, and he needs to win in order for him to raise funds for his political ambition and so his popularity will remain. I'm just speculating here but even if he wins and makes the Filipino proud, that would not mean he would easily win in the Presidential election.

Good luck to him, I believe he will win in boxing and I will support with my bet.

Pacquiao was an insane champion, having won so many titles in so many weight divisions. But there's no denying the fact he's getting older.

His knockout ratio is slowly coming down, and he's starting to struggle with opponents he would have walked through in his younger days.

Spence, on the other hand, didn't look all that amazing against Garcia recently, despite beating him. He's been quite inactive and is probably still not 100% after getting into a gruesome car accident a couple years back. Not sure if this will play a factor in their showdown since they're both essentially damaged (one due to age, the other due to an accident).

It will be a solid fight, but I think the younger man takes this one. His size advantage alone should be enough to overcome Pacman's experience. That said, I think it will go the distance. Can't see either of them getting knocked out, despite both having dynamite in their hands.
Experience would really have the age but once your body would decrease is performance due to age then that would really give out some toll.

I heavily agree with your views between or in talks of damage of both sides but i dont see this would effect that much in giving us out a good and a worthy fight to look upon compared into those shitty exhibitions right?

I believe that Spence would have a chance but majority of people do still believe on Pacquiaos capability.

The odds are very evident that experts believe Manny will win the fight.
We can see that Manny is a big underdog in this fight.

Quote
Fighter   Odds at FOX Bet
Errol Spence Jr   -400
Manny Pacquiao   +300

I'm a fan of Manny and I believe even at his age he can win this fight, so that $3000 return of your $1000 is very attractive.

I would say that Manny's chin could still stood up against younger opponents as he was one of those fighter who have the iron chin.

I would agree with that as I saw him getting hit hard by Thurman and yet he was still standing. He is training hard and he has been doing that all his life as a boxer, so it's not easy to put a legend down. Manny could lose against Spence, but he would give Spence a real problem, the pressure will be high for Spence as he is fighting a legend and though he is younger but I'm sure he is now facing the most difficult opponent in his life as a boxer.

He was never down in that fight, he looks tired but still finishes the fight with a good performance. During the post-fight interview, he admitted that Thurman is a heavy puncher, so he really felt the power and he got hurt, but what matters is he won the fight.

Thurman has 22 KOs in 29 fights. (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/426053)
Spence has 21 KOs in 27 fights ( https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/629465)

They almost have the same power.

This is a great fight a young and undefeated Errol Spence Jr vs legendary Manny Pacquiao. I think Spence Jr have some pretty solid shots if Manny would be able to absorb his punches he could won the match with the agility and the ability of Manny Pacquiao to throw punches I think Manny can win we all know that Manny Pacquiao is a veteran boxer and probably he knows what strategies he's going to use against his opponent.

That is the big question, can Manny's chin still hold? we all know that Marquez has broken it already. But Thurman hits Manny in the face, and yet Pacquiao didn't break down and ask for more. So it will be interesting if Spence can hit Pacquiao and how will Manny react.

And how about Spence? what if it's Manny's turn and hit him with that perfect left? How is he going to response if he felt Manny's power. So this is still a intriguing match up and Manny has a chance to win.

Forget about the Marquez fight, it was just a lucky punch and Manny is more careful now, he won't be hit with that kind of counter punch as he is more mature. His KO rate has gone down because he is not fighting aggressively and always think to KO his opponent.

Lucky punch indeed. Manny walk through that punch that destroyed him. Marquez was losing on that one and Manny was reckless and he was trying to finish off JMM but instead got hit with that counter.

After that KO, Manny has significantly changed his style, no longer forced the issue if there is no opportunity for a knockout and very careful not to repeat that same mistake again.

I would say that Manny's chin could still stood up against younger opponents as he was one of those fighter who have the iron chin.
When it comes to chin toughness then i would definitely say that Manny is one of the toughest one and in regards with that Marquez counter then there would be no boxer that could able to stand up on a clean counter punch which no matter how good and tough you are you could really be facing down in the canvass.I cant say that he had changed up his style because in terms of speed then there would be some changes as this boxer doesnt get younger
which its understandable that physical aspects could really degrade as years passed by.
