Nice to see the odds are already available early, I think it would be nice if OP will add the odds so gamblers would just easily know on what sites are offering the odds now.

Nice odds for Pacman.  Smiley

I think it doesn't matter if he is an underdog because that is only in the eyes of the oddsmakers. If you'll ask the fans, the majority of them would say that Manny will win, so getting an underdog line is on the advantage of the bettors that believe in him. This is going to be a "war-like" boxing, like we usually see, Manny always gives his challenger a tough time and he would do the same in this fight.

It matters to some as not everyone who supported or fans of Manny are gamblers, they don't know the odds but they know who is the favorite to win the fight. Oddsmakers' evaluation is different from the fans because they based on numbers of real information while we as a fan are basing on our bias opinion.

I don't know, but Spence Jr. hasn't fought a boxer as fast and as Manny, so we might see him expose in this fight as some experts believe that Spence is too slow for Manny Pacquiao. We have a lot of predictions to consider but it's the speed I believe which is the advantage of Manny.
If Manny Pacquiao is in his prime touch then he will trouble Errol Spence Jr with his speed and there is no debate about that and some here are confident that he is really training hard even though he did not fight in he past two years and if Manny Pacquiao can bring that same style of offensive boxing he will easily beat Errol Spence but the odds makers are also looking at the age and so is the reason Manny Pacquiao is heavy underdog.
I dont think if people will consider the age gap of Manny Pacquiao compared to Spence Jr., at his age Pacquiao can still fight with the same strength even though he didn't fight for almost two years. If we really compared both fighters, in my own, I still prefer on Manny Pacquiao technically because he is faster than Spence and once a good fighter is all about the skills how to fight not only rely on the strength.

I saw a short video clip of Manny Pacquiao and his training and it seems he trained very hard and prepare his self on this fight. I still on his side on the match.

Not everyone thinks about that age gap though, I am one of the many believers of Manny Pacquiao and I believe he can still beat another champion. Spence may be a tough opponent but Manny will always find his opponent's weakness and beat him.  Being an underdog is a gift because as a bettor, we always like to get good value for our bet while thinking our fighter has the bigger chance of winning.
Lots had been in shocked on where they do see that Pacquiao is the underdog here which i do really agree on what you had said about taking value with our bets since we can really see a big chance of winning this fight even though he's that much older than Spence but we know on how Legendary fighter Manny Pacquiao is, he wont really be called on that title for nothing even though he's a bit old but doesnt mean that he wont be capable on taking down younger fighters even they are already into their prime.Lets see on what would happen on this upcoming fight.!

Let us not go back to the past and play the "what if" game, let's face the reality, let's not make Manny's age as an excuse if he loses in this fight because that's part of the entire game, he wants this, so he has to take the risk. Just always remember how he fought in the past, especially his last fight where he beat an undefeated fighter, that's a huge success already and he deserves to challenge Spence because of that.

That's why he was able to beat young guys like Thurman and Broner.

I'm impressed with Manny when he beat Thurman, but not on Broner as we all know this guy just talks a lot and his career is really going down. I heard Broner had a fight this year, was it postponed or cancelled?

Anyway, back to the topic, Manny's age made him smarter, he understand that winning in boxing does not mean to KO your opponent, it should be done in a strategic way and that's why he is doing now.

Not only his age but his experience, the good thing with him is he also experienced some losses, even the most devastating losses, and that made him smarter and more mature in making great decisions inside the ring. This fight would not be easy for Spence even if he ends up winning, that's for sure.

One should not expect a haymaker from either Manny or Spence in this fight. I'm expecting  Manny would rely on  the head hunting but Spence possesses good technique of side to side  movements that helped him more than once in the ring. So to win with TKO Manny should  bring to bear the  multiple lead hooks to target Spence.

We did not see Manny Pacquiao fight for the past two years and he is not getting younger and these delay is due to the pandemic and not because he was injured or retired but the problem is that with age your reflexes goes down and that is a fact. We can very well understand this once the fight starts and in the first three rounds we will know whether we are seeing the old Manny Pacquiao.

But his training routine doesn't change since then. It was continuous even he's busy with his political activity.

Rested for 2 years and his age are not the things we should see as his disadvantage.

And no, we can't judge the result right away and understand where should the match will go after 3 rounds. As the round continues, both fighters will lose their stamina so expect their strategy will be adjusted too.

I don't see the stamina of Pacquiao here as an issue because he has been fighting for decades and he hasn't changed. Maybe because of his age he slowed down a bit but he also adjusted his strategy to still make himself effective against any opponent he is fighting with, and Crawford is not the biggest fight of his career so he can take care of him for sure.

It was an issue when he fought Thurman as he got tired in the later rounds, maybe we didn't notice that well since he won the fight, but if he still has that strong stamina, that fight will ended as a unanimous decision, but as we all saw, Thurman came back in the 2nd half of the fight and hit Pacman with some clean shots.

I guess there's no reason anymore to miss these great odds for the underdog, if you are a real fan and a believer of Manny Pacquiao, you'll certainly take the odds this early as it might change as the fight is approaching. The odds in the two sportsbooks are even higher compared to what is reported in the article.
As a fan of boxing and a fan of Manny Pacquiao i would like to see him winning against Errol Spence Jr but the problem is that we have not seen him active for a long time and it is possible that age will catch up with him, i do not underestimate his performance in the last fight which was two years ago but i have a feeling that he will be much slower than that when he returns.

So i am planning to place a bet much closer to the fight after the pre fight interview and the weigh ins.

Got surprised that Manny Pacquiao was the underdog on here but well if those odds were given then i do already have some allocated funds for that underdog and this isnt something that you can just easily missed out for you not to bet.It was actually that never anticipated but since its there
then there would be some changes as the fight is approaching but odds wont really changed that much.Is this would be the easiest bet for this year?

It is not really a surprise as when the news hits the market about this fight, Pacquiao is already the underdog. Maybe, they are thinking that Pac is bit old already and Spence is younger and with good record. But when you check the polls (Yahoo), Pacquiao is the favorite to win on this match. And yes, if you believe in Pacquiao here, it is better to bet while still early because the odds may go down once the sched is getting near. Maybe not the easiest bet but one of the boxing fights that people are looking forward to.

Anyway, back to the topic, Manny's age made him smarter, he understand that winning in boxing does not mean to KO your opponent, it should be done in a strategic way and that's why he is doing now.
True, it's because of the experience that he has gained with all of his matches. He's still pushing for a KO but that's hard enough for him if the opponent is also strong and tough. There's the respect that he's giving to his opponents, despite the highly talks that sometimes he makes during press conferences but it's part of gaining his confidence and not degrading himself. Sometimes it's just a lucky punch that's needed to KO someone but to end the match smoothly through points, he knows how to do it and that made him won with his other fights.

He is taking it slowly now, but in a consistent manner, if his opponent can't last long, that's where we will see a KO win by Manny, but I believe that is not his main focus, his focus is to win convincingly and to make himself safe at all times by not being careless.
Yes, he learned in the past and won't allow any recklessness that's being done by him. Some match of him did teach him a lot and that's why it's better to ensure his win and secure it with a clean record rather than he'll put up an actual KO but he's forced to do it and he can't take it down his opponent. But with the slow process but surely, that's going to make his fight good and we're all assuming that he's going to win this match and we don't mind TKO or by unanimous decision.

Of course he would really be aiming to win and adding up the glory that he had currently and who knows that this might be the last fight that he would take before he decide to take out and hang his gloves and retire but it seems it is still too early for him to do so but with this upcoming fight Im much confident
that Manny Pacquiao would able to beat up Spence but he shouldn't really be careless when it comes to his defenses because Spence is still
young and into his prime where its too dangerous if he do let slip some chance for some solid lucky punch.
