Mike tyson is still the best fighter and very aggressive in all of his fight. Never seen him afraid to get punches from his opponent and on the contrary his opponent always in a defensive state where mostly could only throw few punches. He can fight big and taller opponent and even knock it out. If this fight will continue then I am still infavor for Mike tyson. I just wonder why he came back to fight after retiring? Does he need to prove himself that he still can fight?

I understand why a lot of people are picking Mike Tyson being a legend and all but what people don't get is he has been inactive for several years now as compared to Roy Jones who is active in pro-boxing where his last fight happened last 2 years ago. When it comes to being involved in the sport I think Roy Jones is more match fit compared to Mike Tyson. But if this is an official match it will always boil down to preparation with them until the day of the match so Mike Tyson has a chance of winning this but the question is, is he gonna be prepared to do so?

He's popular and nothing beats that in the media. If its going to be hype a lot, the more people know the even and will probably bet. Its yet not open on sportsbet but there will be many of us going to be there when its available.

Both these boxers will fight differently than how they are back in the days and with the influence of their trainers today, both will learn each other to avoid getting knocked.

Mike Tyson is a legend and was able to create his name in boxing industry but I don't think that in his return he can outsmart Roy Jones because Jones has a wider experience compare to Mike and his big advantage is that he only retired last 2018.

Compare to Mike that he retired last 2005, the gap of retirement is very long and aside from that Mike is 3 years older compare to Jones.
Therefore in this poll, I will favor Jones over Mike in their upcoming exhibition match if Jones will do his best training to this upcoming match.

True that, but you know, Mike Tyson is more popular that Roy Jones Junior so it's expected that he will win the poll.

Not everyone who voted here really gamble in sports, so they surely did not considered the points you shared here.
Actually, I will do more research on this fight before I put my bet, but there's no knock down that will happen in this fight, Roy Jones Junior might win.

betting odds as of now.

Mike Tyson is a boxing legend that I admire the most, even though he's 54 years old but I'm sure the fight against Roy Jones Junior
will be worth watching and also definitely entertaining. I have also seen some Mike Tyson training videos to prepare for this match.
Mike Tyson always prepares everything well, so I'm sure Mike Tyson can beat Roy Jones Junior in the ring.

It could be different because these guys already retired a long time ago, they might show some video doing some training but it's different when you are an active boxer, but since this is just an exhibition, let us not expect a lot. Of course I am a fan of Mike, but when it comes to betting, my approach my be different.

How likely does everyone think this event is to actually take place and not get cancelled due to Coronavirus. I don't like how most sportsbooks aren't making it clear how bizarre the rules are for this fight. Lot of potential ambiguity for books to take advantage of their bettors.

Big risk in the side of bettors as like what you've mentioned there's no clear rules and any time it can be stop without any clarity.

Though it's for entertainment bettors also needs to be careful taking their sides, make sure first that they understand what the promoters rules and how they'll be able to assess after.

The moment you put that bet, there's already a risk.
Sportsbook just offer the betting odds, they don't give you an idea about the game, you should research that outside the sportsbook, sure, google can give an answer. Edit : BTW it was already shared ; https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news/mike-tyson-vs-roy-jones-jr-fight-card-rules-ppv-price-date-and-things-to-know-for-the-exhibition-match/

Right, but looking at your article it says "But Foster doubled down on the idea that the fighters would not be trying to knock each other out." And since there are no judges or a decision, it seems like it's fairly unlikely a winner will be declared, correct?

Seen his video that was shared online as well as his practices he seems healthy and fit. I voted for Mike Tyson too.

Since this is just an exhibition match I don't know if they'll be serious with each other so even one odds is great I'm still not so sure who would I bet, though I'm rooting for Tyson. Still has time to decide about a month maybe more information for me to lean on.

I voted for Tyson because I have seen his training videos he is in an incredible way. He will bring us a great novelty to see boxing with the Legendaries, which seems valuable to me, he is rescuing the potential of retired boxers who remain in good strength. So to encourage them to keep the passion of boxing alive. In short, he is a great strategist and a businessman.

I also voted for Tyson, and I see the result is 83% (45) choose Tyson, who can win on that match. So we will see if what we choose is right even tough both Tyson and Jones will do their best to give the best show. Tyson and Jones are a legend in the boxing, but many agree that Tyson is the good fighter who has the big chance to win.

Mike is recently being hyped just because of his training videos and sparring recently but im not really questioning out his capacity yet we know that he's a legend.
If not for these training videos no one will be having any interest in a return like this considering he is well above 50 years of age and the last time he ever fought was 15 years ago, these short training clips actually astonished everyone and that hype made Tyson consider to return as he is well aware that he could raise money even at this age.

Mike Tyson always prepares everything well, so I'm sure Mike Tyson can beat Roy Jones Junior in the ring.
Any fighter who puts his life and health on the line will train and prepare really well Tongue.

Anyone that will help everyone who wanted not just to be entertained but also to take some profits by placing their bets, better

to read it up and allow yourself to take some time to assess, and likewise, it's also prone from changing the dates of this fight or be cancelled since the pandemic still at large.

I'm not expecting that, this fight was plan when their already a pandemic, and they know the situation, that's why they choose to play without a crowd and just do their marketing online to increase their PPV sales as that is the main source of revenue in this fight.

Anyone saw how RJJ trains? Is he prepared for the fight?
I remember Tyson being fat (in movie Hangover for example), they the time has passed quickly and I realized how olde he looks and became... All these videos of him training are great, lots of respect for his speed and condition.
But these videos are rather short. Will he have enough stamina for 12 rounds?

Cant say much about RJJ. To me, he was always in shape.

Yes, RJJ is always in shape and according to this article:

https://www.boxingscene.com/eubank-jr-roy-jones-active-know-how-prepared-mike-tyson--150635

Quote
“I don’t know how prepared Mike is. He looks great in his little 30-second clips on Instagram, but eight rounds against Roy Jones is a different thing. Roy has been active. He had a fight like two years ago. He’s the type of guy, boxing is everything to Roy. I’m not saying it’s not everything to Mike, but I think after Mike retired, boxing became something he used to do and he lived another life. Roy has never lived any other life, he’s in the gym every day and he loves it.” - Chris Eubank Jr.

That is according to WBA interim-middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. But I'm not surprised though, it looks like RJJ is always in shape and very active because he becomes a boxing trainer himself.

I havent seen one but doesnt mean that he didnt train behind camera as you can see on his body shape then you would surely say that he does..  Grin 12 rounds stamina? its hard to believe on but as a boxer then

you can still last that long but would vary or depend if you do maintain up your body shape or train after they do retire in boxing but if not then expect that it wouldnt really be the same.

I’ve seen Mike videos in training, he looks a real beast & is obviously training & living/eating clean. Jones only retired recently though so I dunno, if he can get through 2 rounds Jones will win but Tyson could easily knock him out early.

Since this will be Mike's first fight after long years of rest, this fight will not be the same as he used to fight 30 years ago. but what if, after all those years have passed he regain it all the skills and the power punch the once he has in this training. I may say Jones will be at his best after this training too but if he caught with that version of Mike Tyson, he will taste something he didn't experience in his fight as a professional boxer.
