Although bookmakers consider Ryan Garcia to be the favorite, his opponent Luke Campbell is also a very good fighter who has all the chances to win. According to many analysts his advantage in this match may be a little bit bigger arms length and the fact that he is a left handed fighter. This factor is very often an additional irritant for any opponent.

^^ Yeah, Ryan Garcia is as good as it's get in this weight division, that's why the punters and book makers are favoring him with that odd @1.3, still good specially if you are going to throw big money on this kid to get a big returns.

I'm might be looking for a knock out and exact rounds, still making my own analysis as it bring attractive odds and waiting for our boxing expects to chime more on the opinion about this fight.

Yes, that left hook, specially the way he torque his body to generate power was sweet science itself. So I don't know how fighters like Campbell could prepare for it, specially if Garcia throws it so fast that he didn't see it. Just like what Davis did to Sta Cruz, Leo was competitive and playing good defense until that punch that he didn't see coming.

A fighter with that kind of power that Garcia has and the way he delivers it will always dangerous to his opponent, he delivers that left hook via counter punch and there's no way for his opponent to duck that left hook, Campbell hope is to fight him long distance if choose to go toe to toe he is big trouble, if he can take that left hook then he has a big chance to beat Garcia.
Good point, that should be Campbell's Plan A, do not go toe to toe and then try to push Garcia to long distance and like a chess match to at least have a chance because Garcia hasn't been tested to 8+ rounds in his career. Otherwise, Campbell being the aggressive will really very bad, so he should be patience and not get himself caught with that power punch and hope that Garcia faded in the late rounds because he is not used to it.

Garcia is obvious the favourite here by bookies. But wonder if the odds will change few days before the fight.
Will take a snapshot from bestodds and let's see how much it will change from today.

Will this be an inspiration for Campbell to be aggressive inside the ring. Let's find out...

No significant changes if there's one, it's always Garcia here who is the favorites because he is the undefeated and the champion.  At 1.30, I think that's a fair odds for Garcia and I believe this isn't a hard fight for him, he will win this fight probably at 80% chance, so the betting odds is just right.

It will be an interesting fight if Ryan Garcia and Teofimo Lopez will be paired in the righ as they are both undeafeated though Ryan has a little advantage as he has 20 fight while Teofimo only has 16 figths.

But I guess Ryan is set to fight Luke Campbell though they are not that far in terms of winnings and KO's but Campbell has a little advantage in terms of overall fights so this can be an interesting fight also as I will be looking forward if Ryan can maintain his undefeated record or he will suffer his first loss in his upcoming fight.

In paper that is a good strategy, but we can't really see what's going on if Garcia landed that first jab or first left hook on Campbell. Usually when a boxer felt the power of his opponent, he might back pedal and play too much defense that he himself is not scoring points in the judges eye.

I think this is what happen in the Lopez vs Loma fight, Loma felt in in the first 3 rounds, and didn't let his hands busy and Lopez was scoring the in the score card. On the other hand, Garcia goes on the offense, breaking down Campbell to score a knock out here.

If I will be placing my bet on Garcia vs Campbell I will do it with Garcia however, if it is going to be Garcia vs Davis I think I might go for Davis as of now.

Let's focus on the fight for now, Garcia as an undefeated with some high KO percentage is favored to win here. Luke Campbell also has a high KO rate but he struggle against Vasyl Lomachenko in his previous fight, so I think it will not help him in the coming fight and people would believe that he will loss against a young and undefeated champion.

Right, let's see how Garcia will fair against Campbell here, he really needs to win here by knock out to send the message over. And since Canelo has left Golden Boy, Garcia right now is the cash cow of Oscar so he better be winning in striking fashion here to carry the torch and be the next face of Golden Boy.

So we might not see this, but in the background I'm feeling that there is more pressure on Garcia's shoulder to complete this and then look for Davis or even Haney first.

Fast with a very strong left hook in fact that left hook has a lot of viral videos on Youtube that's what Campbell should watch out for in the course of the fight if he blinks and become careless he will end up getting knock out by that left hook that has become Garcia's trademark, that left hook is so fast and so accurate.

Campbell  has never been KO in his career as a boxer, so I guess he will survive this time even if he loss and for sure they have already studied how to prevent getting KO by that left hook of Garcia since the last 4 wins of Garcia are all KO, I considered RTD as KO, sorry.  Grin

But Campbell hasn't face a fighter of Garcia's caliber who are just knocking down his opponents in less than 4 rounds if I'm not mistaken. Haven't check the odds for a KO, but if it's good then probably it will be a good bet.

It's a tough test for him, first it was Vasyl Lomachenko, now he is trying his luck to beat Ryan Garcia.
I hope he will be able to give a good fight, I would be happy if he will bring this fight to decision and give the judge some hard time on judging the fight.

We just have to wait for this , money will talk for sure.
Extremely right and I agree.

I'm a fan of Ryan Garcia as well and I really follow him all throughout his career and if the fight would be with Campbell then It will be a sure win for Garcia, though Campbell is really good The young one has an edge to outperform him. If Garcia will be fighting with Gervonta Davis this could really be a box office match for they are at the same level in their boxing skills and almost at the same age bracket.

If I will be placing my bet on Garcia vs Campbell I will do it with Garcia however, if it is going to be Garcia vs Davis I think I might go for Davis as of now.

Yes, but to really squeeze more money out of this fight, they need fans to watch it live and with the current situation, we are still far from allowing fans to be on the boxing arena to watch the fight. So I think it will be on hold for now.

But I do agree that this fight will really sell to casual boxing fans as Garcia is very likeable, young, very confident of himself and a lot of followers on his social media. On the other hand we have Lopez, who beat the man in the 135 lbs division, very loud and now the face of that weight class.

With how things are moving now, there's no need to rush everything out not unless gamblers silently call for this. There are
influence that people behind gambling industries can make things possible, money will flow out from the pockets of those bettors
who wanted to make this fight to happen.

Promoters are weighting it out, we all know that they are where the money will be.

Too early to say that he will have the same career as the legendary man himself, Manny Pacquiao.

Oscar has promise that he will give everything to Ryan, that's why they are already in talks of him facing Devin Haney who is the champion. Of course, most fighters have started fighting no names, but he has passed the test when he destroyed the much touted Romero Duno in round one. So after the Campbell fight, we should be expecting him stepping up the next toughest opponent in Haney.

I cannot consider Duno a top contender in his division, if Ryan Garcia wants to road to greatness he should only fight these three fighters, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis, he can add some weight, he should do what Pacquiao did go higher to fight the best, the lighter division is where a lot of great talents and only one will rule to attain greatness.

Garcia is still very young and it's very early in his career. He has been stepping up incrementally against the right opponents. Being a good draw puts him in a good position to face all those other big names who are already world champions at a young age. I still think that Loma could beat all of those fighters and make it harder for them to become the next great sensation like Pacquiao was.

Oscar Dela Hoya, Ryan Garcia's promoter have promised him that he would pit his guy against Teofimo Lopez next year and this could add more motivation to Garcia to train really hard and perform very well so that he could be worthy of the chance to face the Lightweight King.

That's the fight that Bob Arum wants to make as well. Fighting each other makes a lot more sense than either guy facing Devin Haney who is boring and doesn't sell. Lopez vs. Garcia will make a lot more money because they have the option of putting it on pay-per-view. Garcia has a huge social media following and Lopez is a top pound for pound fighter so it will be an easy sell to the casual audience.

I also wanted to see a Garcia vs Lopez in the future, they are both bankable stars in the Lightweight, but I have a feeling that Oscar will try to milk more money from Garcia first before they chase Lopez. Probably a Haney fight won't hurt Garcia's resume as Haney is also a 'champion'. And then we have Davis as well in the picture. There is also talks of Lopez fighting his mandatory next year, an Australian and obviously they wanted it to stage to Australia so we will see. Not unless Luke Campbell ruining all the plans of Oscar.
