Too early to say that he will have the same career as the legendary man himself, Manny Pacquiao.
Oscar has promise that he will give everything to Ryan, that's why they are already in talks of him facing Devin Haney who is the champion. Of course, most fighters have started fighting no names, but he has passed the test when he destroyed the much touted Romero Duno in round one. So after the Campbell fight, we should be expecting him stepping up the next toughest opponent in Haney.
I cannot consider Duno a top contender in his division, if Ryan Garcia wants to road to greatness he should only fight these three fighters, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis, he can add some weight, he should do what Pacquiao did go higher to fight the best, the lighter division is where a lot of great talents and only one will rule to attain greatness.
Garcia is still very young and it's very early in his career. He has been stepping up incrementally against the right opponents. Being a good draw puts him in a good position to face all those other big names who are already world champions at a young age. I still think that Loma could beat all of those fighters and make it harder for them to become the next great sensation like Pacquiao was.
"Could have been", but Loma was already exposed by Lopez so the aura of invincibility has gone for now. And that's why these set of new young and upcoming fighters wanted to test each other as the division is really wide open. But Lopez should be the A-side here, no matter what, he had all the belts in his hand now.
Garcia should win this fight easily and then go after Haney, I think he can beat Haney, but a Davis fight will be more difficult for him and then we still have the top dog in Lopez.
