Too early to say that he will have the same career as the legendary man himself, Manny Pacquiao.

Oscar has promise that he will give everything to Ryan, that's why they are already in talks of him facing Devin Haney who is the champion. Of course, most fighters have started fighting no names, but he has passed the test when he destroyed the much touted Romero Duno in round one. So after the Campbell fight, we should be expecting him stepping up the next toughest opponent in Haney.

I cannot consider Duno a top contender in his division, if Ryan Garcia wants to road to greatness he should only fight these three fighters, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis, he can add some weight, he should do what Pacquiao did go higher to fight the best, the lighter division is where a lot of great talents and only one will rule to attain greatness.

Garcia is still very young and it's very early in his career. He has been stepping up incrementally against the right opponents. Being a good draw puts him in a good position to face all those other big names who are already world champions at a young age. I still think that Loma could beat all of those fighters and make it harder for them to become the next great sensation like Pacquiao was.

"Could have been", but Loma was already exposed by Lopez so the aura of invincibility has gone for now. And that's why these set of new young and upcoming fighters wanted to test each other as the division is really wide open. But Lopez should be the A-side here, no matter what, he had all the belts in his hand now.

Garcia should win this fight easily and then go after Haney, I think he can beat Haney, but a Davis fight will be more difficult for him and then we still have the top dog in Lopez.

This are the initial odds:

@1.4, but I'm sure as the fight gets closer it can go as low as @1.2 though and not very attractive for us. And then we look forward at round 3 odds if it is going to be available as Ryan predicted to end this fight in this round, hehehe.

Good enough to place your early bet if you believe with Garcia's fighting skills.

Maybe you are right that it will change a lot when the fight is going nearer, or even in the day of the fight itself. Both are possible, bookmakers can play with it to attract gamblers, very well as there's no assurance even there's an edge once a lucky punch being thrown and hits as solid. Anything can happened. Good luck!

I think it's on, the fight is reschedule on January 2:

Quote
The winner of the contest will be in line to face world champion Devin Haney, who recently returned to the ring with a lopsided decision win over Yuriorkis Gamboa.

“This fight is going to be the biggest fight of my life so far. This is going to put me on that level where I get that respect. I think this fight will solidify me as one of the best in the world right now.

“I know I’m going to beat Luke Campbell and knock him out within three rounds, and I’m very, very, very sure of that - 100 percent sure.”

I really like the kid attitude and confidence so if there is an open bet on him knocking out Campbell in 3, betting put a stake specially if the odds are good. Smiley

Thanks for the reminder bro, yes it is rescheduled to January 2 next year.

This time i think betting on Garcia with a knockout is good since Campbell's body is affected by the virus and it might have cause some damaged to his lungs  Smiley. Will tail your bet on this one.

BTW, title of this thread is already updated.

No problem bro,  Grin, everyone is really excited about this kid and we can't wait to see what he can do next in the ring against Campbell. And yes he is oozing with confidence now, very young and brandish just like the rest of the young guns in his division. Yeah, it's possible that a knockout will happen, as he predicted it will be over in 3 rounds so I guess we should stick to his prediction and see what will be the odds are.

If he continues to fight at this level, he might become one of the legendary boxers in the future along with Manny Pacquaio and the other excellent fighters.
[..snip.

I'm a believer of this young man, he has good timing in his punch and his punch packs a wallop, he has a good future ahead of him but he will not reach his greatness if he and his promoter The Golden Boy Promotion, they must allow him to get big fights like the Haney and Davis fight, Garcia is fighting boxers that is not his level, he will just knock out Campbell.

I've watched some of Ryan Garcia's highlights and was shocked by his power and speed. At a young age, he shows a lot of potential in boxing. I want so see more of his fight, I was overwelmed with just watching all the highlights of his fight.

This young man has something in his fist and every time he fought in the right you expect some showtime because of his skills. I think he is one of a million fighter because of such a mindset a prodigy in the ring but still, he has a lot to learn and he still young. If he continues to fight at this level, he might become one of the legendary boxers in the future along with Manny Pacquaio and the other excellent fighters.

It's actually next next month because it will be in 2021 as per thread title.

This would a great test for Ryan Garcia, sooner or later he will be fighting an undefeated champion, but in this fight hopefully another KO win by him and he will protect his pretty face.

I'm sure Ryan Garcia would love to come out with a spectacular knock out here just like what he did in the past, he wants to show to Haney, Lopez and Davis that he is a better and a dominant fighter, this will serve as a build up for any one of the three mentioned fighters, the fight will be exciting to see, I'll go for Garcia here as always.

I hope this will finally push through next month. This gives excitement to all boxing fans as both of them are in hypes. Both are talking winning, of course, they will.

I see a fair fight for this and seems the number of their fights and KO's are almost the same, both of them are undefeated but my favorite here is Ryan.

Let's see how their shit and trash talks will work and get proven. I know that everyone is expecting a clean fight despite those hard talks.

As per article him and Haney will be up next, that is if Garcia hand is raise against Campbell.

But he is riding on a big momentum, very young and full of belief that he will knock-out Campbell in 3 rounds. After all, his opponents are getting knock-out in 3 rounds or less so he can back up his trash talking. So yes this is a great test for Ryan until Campbell goes down. Definitely will root for him to win here.

(b) Wait for another two weeks and schedule it on December 19, because it also says that Campbell have recovered already and just waiting for a 2 weeks isolation protocol.
At least choosing to delay and reschedule is good, the virus issue should be resolved as it is a very serious problem. I heard the game will be rescheduled and it won't be long, but I think it will probably be over two weeks or so. But I hope they will compete this year.

Better than never, this pandemic really affects everything but good to know that the fight will still be push before the end of this year.

There are lots  of fans who love to watch and to bet with this kind of sport. more than a week from now and we will know who's going

to win this and how the fight will take place.

Don't you worry, there are a lot of fights line up for this young fellow, he has been been calling everyone in his weight classes, Haney, Davis and Lopez. He is still young though, although we like his attitude, Golden Boy will not let their cash cow go to the wolves den yet, specially that Canelo left them, Oscar needs Garcia not be be damage this early.

So we might see some cherry pick fights for him, like this Campbell fight before throwing him to Haney and then see how it goes for him.

What's crazy is that Garcia's promoter has been talking about putting him against Teofimo Lopez. I think it is still too early for that fight but if he can beat Campbell convincingly it'll show us whether or not he's ready for the elite level.

Yeah, it will be early for Garcia to face Lopez, if Garcia should win here, I think it's better to target the weakest of the champion - Haney. Garcia's wins in high light fashion, this will be his signature statement win if he beats Campbell convincingly specially if a knock out happen.

And I agree that the only logical option is to wait for Campbell to recover, late December or early January is perfect for this two.
