I'll be watching this fight tomorrow as I have a good feeing that this isn't a one sided fight. I believe Ryan will face probably the toughest fight of his career and if he survives, he might end up winning by decision. I'm excited on this fight, don't have any appointment tomorrow because I'm staying home to watch this.

Not if Campbell can withstand that left hook, after Mike Tyson he is the best fighter I have seen who can place that hook effectively and with the right timing, if Campbell can see the hook coming then he'll have a chance to win Campbell is also good so may the best fighter win tomorrow, I like Ryan to win there are a lot of great things coming to this man, and he is just starting out his journey to greatness.

It could be very competitive in the first couple of rounds, and then after Ryan figure Campbell's movement and power, he will re adjust, it might be a left hook, but I don't know I have a feeling that the body shot will be the biggest weapon of Ryan here as Campbell is open for it. The division is really open for Ryan, Davis will be the biggest fight for him. Oscar said that he want's Garcia vs Davis - Cinco de Mayo explosion.

A must win for him, he will definitely earn more praises if he wins in this fight, but if he lose, it's still not yet the end of his career as one loss is nothing from a boxer who is eager to bounce back
Losing a fight is not the end of a boxer career but it somehow affects their boxing record/history and the boxer themselves are always not happy about it cause it will also hinder the promotion and airdrop money they ought to get from private companies.

look at Manny Pacquioa, he is not undefeated but he is considered as one of the greatest boxer in boxing history.
Pacman is not an ordinary boxer cause he's one of the greatest products of the Philippines and he's the Senate Chairman now if I remember correctly.

Campbell to win by decision @ 7.00.. good odds, isn't it?
Yes, it is and I think almost every booker has the same odds cause what I am seeing here is also 7.00 for Campbell win by KO, TKO or DQ.

That loopholes will be the big test for Garcia, if Campbell able to penetrate on that portions he may bring Garcia to the next level of streght, knowing that each fighters have their own weak side, they need to comply properly  to avoid making a mistake and open their guard. Campbell needs to exposed and make something that may lead him to got the killer blow.
The interest i have in this fight is to see how Garcia will deal with the situation if he is not able to knockout Campbell as no one has never knocked out Campbell in his career and he has the experience and being a Olympic gold medalist he is the toughest opponent in Garcia's young career. All we have seen till now is Garcia dominating his opponents but what happens if he is not able to implement his game plan like the rest.

Hopefully Campbell recovered from Covid but i doubt it will be an issue for him as it takes a much long time to recover and his endurance and stamina will be affected.

No excuses for Campbell, he needs to prove he is a real deal even if he is not an undefeated fighter, but you are right, Campbell hasn't been KO in his life as a boxer and this is a tough challenge but Ryan Garcia. I'm expecting this as a long fight, probably 12 rounds and it would be an excitement fight to watch since Campbell never backs down from any opponent, especially from a younger fighter.

Let's get ready for this fight and enjoy it.

Here is the weigh-in,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_I0TJlQ8Cw

Interesting to see Oscar, he seems to lose a lot of weight, is he really making a comeback? hehehe

Both of them weight in at 135 lbs, as the announcer said, right on the nose. So I'm sure everyone is excited and have put their bets on.

We can't see the body language though, but it seems that Ryan wanna trash talk but Luke just move out of the podium. Yes as boxing fans, I'm excited to see Ryan Garcia again against a good level boxer.

For Oscar? who knows maybe what we have heard in the media is that he will go for a fight against GGG will happen,  Grin. Or probably he will go for an exhibition match first.

The time has come, no need for thrash talking, we have seen them at weigh in and they come fully prepared, Campbell is an Olympic champion but it doesn't translate to professional though, but still he can give Ryan a good fight here. 8 rounds maybe and then the knock out will come. His trainer is also the best right now, (who also trains Canelo), so everything fits perfectly for Ryan to survived and be great. And this fight will be his breakout.

I thought that after this fight, they are targeting Haney first and then Davis.

So there's a lot at stake in this fight, Ryan needs to win first and not let Campbell derail all the plans. Haney will still be a good fight, a world champion, also very young. So if the can get over Campbell, then Haney then definitely Davis might be next. Or at least Davis will be interested because Ryan will have a belt that time.

If he wins this fight then Garcia would be the mandatory for Devin Haney, but I think he would much rather fight Davis. Davis is a much more exciting fighter than Haney and it would be a huge success on pay-per-view. It's the promotional and network differences that make that fight unlikely in the near future.
But he has more chance of winning against Haney right? And Haney has been calling him as well, and Davis said he is not interested on Garcia right now. So it make sense that Garcia next target will be Haney, a boring fighter but a champion. Lopez will have his mandatory, then probably Lopez vs Davis and then the winner (or the loser) can face Garcia. Too many scenarios for this weight division as there are top 3-4 fighters.

It will be a good test for King Ryan, of all the champions in the light division, everyone wants to take Garcia, Haney wants him so badly and Davis is taking him lightly, things will be different if Ryan wins sensationally here, of course also wants this fight he will go to elite circle if he beats Garcia who is very much on his prime, great fights to start the year.

I agree, if he win here amazingly, it will be Haney's turn (but I will be in for Garcia), Haney is the weakest amongst their breed of champion. And maybe Davis will take notice if he beat Haney with a knock out.

For now let's wait for the Campbell fight, all eyes are on Ryan here, boxing analyst will go into microscope to dissect how good he is if he won by knock out here.

Golden boy is betting big for this kid, and this fight is cherry pick to showcase Ryan's speed and knockout power.

I could not agree with this, Luke Campbell though not getting any younger but this boxer has a power. Well, everyone is betting Ryan Garcia to win the fight but look at the betting odds, if bookies believe that Ryan Garcia will easily dominate his opponent, he could give him an odds like 1.10 and below.

Still in the 1.25 for Garcia, however, Campbell is at 4.0 now.
Few hours and we will witness who's gonna dominate inside the ring.
Will Garcia live up to the expectations of his supporters here?
Campbell, I believe, is a tough opponent for Garcia.
His record is not to be treated an easy one to beat.

Exactly, this should not be an easy fight for Garcia, we think it is because Garcia is an undefeated fighter but Campbell here has a good record and his KO percentage is really high. Some will go for the underdog whiles most of us here will go for the favorites, that's normal, we have our own choice.

With the current odds, yeah I don't think that Ryan will be upset, if Campbell gets lucky, maybe he can win a round or two, but that's just it, Ryan will take over and will definitely go for a knock out so that his stock will go up. Golden boy is betting big for this kid, and this fight is cherry pick to showcase Ryan's speed and knockout power.

I agree with you mate, this fight is cherry picked by Golden Boy to make Garcia look good if he can do the job in an impressive manner. Loma's  win against Campbell is not impressive for me so this is a make or break for Ryan Garcia and i'm inclined that he can do it as he did beat our tough compariot in Michael Duno in just one round.

As usual, i will post the link to the fight whenever it is already available.
We'll have to wait for that mate.

Back then,
That is a Golden Promotion, everyone who got into the ring will be a tough guy. To believe that Garcia has knockout power and that is more entertaining and I expect as well that Campbell also gives his best and I know that they have the plan already.

This is not probably about having luck (maybe) but this is all about how a boxer being trained and how he adjusts himself in order to win.

The reason is Luke Campbell is the biggest test in the career of Ryan Garcia and the last opponent of Campbell was Vasyl Lomachenko and there is no debate about his experience and his technical expertise and i expect him to exploit some loopholes in the style of Ryan Garcia and i am expecting Campbell to target his body and if that happens i would like to see how Ryan Garcia is going to respond Grin.
