I have watched several interviews with Errol Spence and all I've heard is he is going to knock out Porter, it's like the guy has a glass chin and cannot defend effectively, I don't think he can do that with Porter, guy is not a patsy I've seen how he trained and motivate himself, it's going to be interesting if Porter knocks him out first.

That's what we like to see,  though he is a champion but with that kind of attitude, I don't think he will ever be as great as Manny.
Porter's record is also impressive and well experience that his opponent, I'm pretty sure if Porter will knock out the champ, we will be enjoying here claiming our win for this fight.

What the odds again,? lol.. that should over x10 if porter will knock out spence.

In case you guys are interested to know, below are the Under card for this event

Misael Rodriguez (9-0, 4 KOs) vs Brandon Maddox (7-2-1, 5 KOs)
Lindolfo Delgado (10-0, 10 KOs) vs Jesus Zazueta Anaya (6-4-1, 4 KOs)
Fabian Maidana (16-1, 12 KOs) vs Ramses Agaton (21-10-3, 11 KOs)
Burley Brooks (3-0, 3 KOs) vs Fabian Valdez (3-5)
Amon Rashidi (7-0, 5 KOs) vs Alfonso Olvera (11-6-3, 4 KOs)
Fernando Garcia (12-1, 7 KOs) vs Juan Antonio Lopez (14-7, 6 KOs)
Leon Lawson III vs Alan Zavala
Justin Cardona vs Archie Weah
Jose Valenzuela vs Charles Clark

Some of these boxers are not very popular but it's against good boxers with good potential against boxers who are just stepping stone for future big fights, but it's good to watch these boxers with good potential we can only see them on undercards, this is where great boxers starts from undercard from popular fights to gain exposure to boxing aficionados.

And this would really give people's worth of their money, honestly there is the first boxing match I know that has 9 undercards, usually that's only below 5 matches. Maybe they need this to attract more crowd I'm guessing because just like you, I am also not familiar with these boxers.

Sportsbet odds:

With those odds I would bet on Shawn Porter. Maybe he looks weaker than his opponent right now, but, after all, he won 30 out of 33 fights, and 17 of them by KO. Also Porter is 8 cm shorter than Spence, which is frequently an advantage in boxing.

Overall I would agree with the comment I saw on a site where the odds where discussed:

Quote
"I have Spence as a favorite but not -1000 favorite."

You can bet on porter to win by KO at 14.00 and porter by decision at 10, you will still get a better odds compared to 6.00 for porter to win the match.
I think as game is approaching, slowly the odds of Porter are decreasing, this means people are betting on him?

How about draw @25. does it stands a chance also?

I get really excited as this fight comes closer and closer. It's a battle between two fighters with undefeated record a considered good record Grin. in this sense, it's very hard for me  to pick whether who's gonna win. I think this is a very close match but I'll go for Spence Jr. because it is intriguing to know his next opponent if he win. Maybe Pacman or Crawford, hmm Huh

Just for the record though, Porter lost to Thurman by UD in 2016 and to Kell Brook MD on 2014. The same Kell Brook who Spence beat by KO two years ago. That's why in the interview, Spence always brought this up.

But I definitely understand your excitement though, this is two fighters who are both champions and really at their peak. Well, there are news that Spence if ever he wins will go and chase Pacquiao. Good to see if he fight Crawford as well, but boxing politics will hinder that mega fight.

Ok it looks like the fight is just a couple of days and the odds on Porter I would say is really attractive to me.

I also look at Sportsbet and indeed it is an amazing odds, tempted to put some bet on Porter now here specially the some posters here are also seeing that odds very favourable to us. And yes, I think Porter will take it personally seeing that media are portraying him as no chances against Spence, he is mad and hungry to win.

The way I see it, Porter's chance of winning is through a sucker punch. Spence has a longer reach advantage and if he can maximize his advantage in range, this fight is sure in the bag for him.

I disagree about the sucker punch. Porter can win if he really goes inside, yes Spence has the reach advantage and that is obvious, but Porter has face opponents with longer reach that him so he is comfortable and it could really goes into the distance if Porter makes Spence fights backwards and getting him out of his comfort zone, specially in the mid rounds and going to the championship rounds.

Also good to see:

Porter by decision @11.00
Porter by ko @17.00

I think I'll go with the decision, for me it's the best way for him to really win the game by making Errol Spence miss some shots and him going inside and make it a tough game for Errol.

I am gonna take it also, I'm on Porter on that kind of odds.. what site are you using in betting this event?
Can you share it here, just share the link so it would be easy to find it, this line is a complete insult to Porter, even if I have to bet all that odds at let's say 100 usd each, I would still end up winning, $1500 (KO) or $900(decision) if Porter wins.
Sportsbet.io mate.

Yeah, it's really a winnable fight, I mean Porter is not an elite as Spence, but the attitude though is different. Porter doesn't have the easy route that Spence took to became a champion. Porter really digs deeper against Ugas and the Garcia fight to take the belt. So he really excels being the underdog and then show everyone not to write him off.

Waiting for the final weigh-in and wanted to see the face to face and observed who has the upper hand in intimidating the other side.

I wasn't aware of this odds, I check on sportsbet now and it really exist,.. I guess I'm also tempted here, I'm not pulling the trigger yet but I tried the x17 odds with price boost, it results to 18.60, I think I am gonna take this tomorrow, will try to check my available funds if I can spare for this odds.
Thank you for bringing the price boost, I totally forget about it although I bet on sportsbet during the Pacquiao and Thurman fight. 18.60 is really very tempting for me as well.

Same here, need to dig down on my pocket and look for spare funds for this match.

Watch the final conference, and for me, Spence saying Porter is a dirty fighter really put Porter on an advantage here. And Spence talking about adjustment, it means that he is ready for everything that Porter has to give. I mean you can ready at all, but when the fight comes and you didn't expect how dirty or tough Porter is, then we might see an upset here.

Lots of smacktalking going on at yesterdays press conference

HEATED! Errol Spence Jr vs. Shawn Porter FULL FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE | Fox PBC Boxing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY7WAWLuN5k

Thanks man for updating this thread with the Final Press Conference.

Yes I did watch it, did anyone notice Porter became so serious when Jimmy Lennon called Spence Jr? He was someone smiling to the camera and when Spence was introduce with all the accolades, he jaw was lock and going eye-to-eye with Spence.

However, I'm expecting much heated exchanges but didn't see nothing, Spence had no facial reaction at all but Porter seems to be lively but lacks the trash talk we have seen in the Broner or Garcia fight.

It looks like Porter has the upper hand early in the press conference, however, Spence ended this event with lot of trash talk, and for me, won the war of words. Lol.

The co-main event is also going to be explosive, Dirrell vs Benavidez, but I'm going to Benavidez here, I think Dirrell is just too slow and doesn't have that KO punch.

I would say that is really a very attractive and interesting odds for Porter. The fight is just a couple of days from now so I guess every boxing fans and gamblers are going to like that odds. I might as well throw some money on Porter here just for the sake of him making a upsets and derailing the so much talk about Pacquaio - Spence.

I just put up money against my friend and I bet Porter to win, Spence is a heavy favorite but Porter is now the hungrier between the two because he wants to prove something because people are betting against him, this is one of the time that I will go against the majority and take the underdog, but this is a hungry underdog.
