I would say that Brazilian teams go through many phases....
In a given year a team can win the main championship, but in the next year it can be relegated to a lower category... and its don't uncommon to happen.
In general, the main titles are still concentrated in less than 10 Brazilian teams, but I also see that the technical quality of smaller teams is rising a lot each year.
Great point, there are lot of cases where teams won championship and next year the team was demoted, in my opinion most teams are affected because of players goes to europe
If you see a good team, won the championship, at least 2 of main players will play abroad, and it's almost impossible to keep him here, most of them have a dream to play on a big team, and main reason is money, it's Euro against our money.
I also saw some teams playing good on Libertadores, but almost being demoted in brasileiro, they need to focus on only 1, contrary os most european teams who have excelent players to substitute.
Although we are in the initial stages of the Serie A in Brazil I think that Corinthians is the team which has shown the better football compared to all other teams, maybe more pragmatic would be the best definition but still they deserve to be in that first place.
My team of heart is Corinthians, I watched almost all matches, and our team have many players with more than 30 years, it's becoming difficulty to play against teams who have more energy to play entire match in a good level, take a look here:
Cássio (34 years)
Fagner (32 years)
João Victor (23 years)
Gil (34 years)
Fábio Santos (36 years)
Du Queiroz (22 years)
Willian (33 years)
Paulinho (33 years)
Renato Augusto (34 years)
Giuliano (31 years)
Róger Guedes (25 years)
See?
They all have experience, Willian, Paulinho, Renato Augusto, they all played in europe, but it's hard to play entire match 100%
