Nobody says Satoshi were or is perfect in any way. In Gavin's latest video interview he said Satoshi was a bit unstable, jumping from the one thing to the other and also a bit of a temper in a way. We should not make a human being out as some sort of God. He developed a piece of software that solved some problems FFS. ^hmmmm^
If you look at the original code, you would see his work was sloppy and his coding skills mediocre to say the least, and not much of that code remains to this day. So even that was not perfect.
