Wow, will this guy's plagiarism never stop?
He's even stealing my signature now!

FWIW, you'll know the dude's fuck when he starts quoting me and adds HAHAHA at the end of his techno babble.

There are no facts I know of why Gavin Andresen's creditability should take any hit so far.

The fact that Gavin has said he believes this guy to be Satoshi when his false signature claim was debunked within hours shows that Gavin has lost all credibility (where is Gavin's response to the debunking?).

Someone who (still?) likes to call himself the Chief Bitcoin Scientist (although he should not be using such a title as he doesn't even have commit access to the repo now) should lose all credibility for simply being so easily fooled.

I'm hoping Gavin wasn't really there because he was out taking in the London scenery while the meeting took place and he was simply using second-hand info garnered from Jon.

Including the part where Gavin uses the email exchange between himself and Satoshi as proof that CSW is indeed Satoshi? I'd say that Gavin dug himself so deep a hole that not even Chantha Owen Lueung and Leroy Fodor combined while cupping the balls of Marshall Long can dig him out.

Why doesn't he (Wright) make a post in this forum. I thought that Satoshi Nakamoto had an account on bitcointalk.org?

The real Satoshi can't make a post because that is too dangerous. Tor has been cracked by CIA.

what we know for sure there is an agenda!

that would be to increase block size by leveraging his stardom

Moving some bitcoins should proof something , no ?

My guess is that Jon Matonis or Gavin Andresen is CSW's new spokesperson.

More from the BBC  Grin

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36193006

Quote
Craig Wright's spokesman told the BBC that he would "move a coin from an early block" belonging to the crypto-currency's inventor "in the coming days".

How many "days" does he need to prepare his next magic trick? I can move any of my coins in a few minutes, tops. This is ridiculous. How gullible can anyone be?

He has first to write a 10,000 words post which we will have to digest and summarize as :
- Go to https://blockchain.info/block-index/14858/000000008d9dc510f23c2657fc4f67bea30078cc05a90eb89e84cc475c080805
That's the block #9, the famous block which Satoshi used to send coins to Hal.
- Click on the address starting with 12cb..., that's Satoshi's address
- See the last transaction that happened on 2016-05-03 13:34:00 ? That's me, Craig Wrigth, who did it.
- Already 4 confirmations that I am Satoshi !

Looks like Hal is gonna have spendin' moneys on the day they thaw him out: https://blockchain.info/address/1ByLSV2gLRcuqUmfdYcpPQH8Npm8cccsFg

Would the anonymous Satoshi, in Jan 2014, change a company name from something very nondescript (Moving Forward in Business LIMITED), to CO1N LTD? Makes no sense. And who is the 24 year old Ms Uyen T Nguyen?

For what it's worth, Dave can still vote in Chicago, mostly likely for Democrats.
No.
That date refers to 'electronic format' entry date. Check the date on the cert (14-10-2012). And check the termination cert above (26-04-2013).

Gleb are you ale to find this InfoWorld article about Bitcoin in early 2010?

i want to know if it could be true or if the basement of Gavin Andresens involvement into Bitcoin has something to do with his visit in Australia.

EDIT: found it.

I am going to say this, I think the real Satoshi is paying these guys off to throw everyone off to finding him, the real satoshi, does not want to be found, there is no point for him to be found.  He is a man of humility and this is not the way he will come out.  The Japanes guy had more of a chance to be him then then Craig Wright
Nah if the real Satoshi was behind this pulling the strings he would have at least made it believable.
Looks like Gavin really got taken in by this. Why didn't he just make no comment until he had time to think it through and double check the "proof" himself, a man in his position should know never to rush big decisions.

Gavin had plenty of time for assessment, including literally rubbing shoulders with peers at the conference in NYC prior to the panel discussion where he defends his assessment up to taking questions from the audience.

Move a coin?!  Huh

There's no doubt this guy is not Satoshi! How otherwise it will go that the creator of Bitcoin doesn't even know how bitcoin works?!

There are simple and assertive ways to prove yourself as Satoshi, if you are him:

- Satoshi has a known PGP Key, just sign something with it.
- Sign something using a known-to-belong to Satoshi address.

And we do know Satoshi knows how to do things the proper way, the Genesis Block is such proof, with a newspaper headline encoded on it. This guy however just goes by far fetched senseless crap, like encoded pieces on the block chain, now move coins...

I believe the closest we have to Satoshi these last years, is this: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2015-August/010238.html

That particular email is not known to be hacked (but we can't say for sure that it isn't), there is no spoofing involved, and he also had to register and verify the email to the mailing list:

https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2015-August/010329.html
https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2015-August/010327.html
https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2015-August/010334.html

The writing style and essence of what is written does not have any troll like qualities like the spoofed "I'm not craig wright, we are all satoshi" message that appeared a few months later. The August one isn't spoofed, it is serious and consistent in writing style, while also trying to "sneak in" some comment of concern for bitcoin itself - as far as node incentives go. Kind'a like, since I broke my silence, let me also say this that is bothering me for a while.

As far as I'm concerned it is legit with very high probability. Which, in turn, would imply that if I'm right then Satoshi was alive a few months ago. It would also imply that Craig Wright writing with one space, instead of two, is fraudulent, and that no writing style change has occurred for Satoshi, despite the passing of time since 2010.

SN biggest mistake? Gavin Andresen!!

let us watch what is coming next from mr. wright. with the logic above in mind it is not "big blocks".

Unless Gavin is Satoshi/part of Satoshi.  Craig could be proxy or cover for someone or something else, including Gavin, Mantonis, etc.  It is clear that the evidence Gavin et al saw was totally different than what came out yesterday.  The crowd took the opportunity to bash Gavin, but probably the media deserved more criticism than it got IMHO (the media should know by now its risky to take on a Satoshi reveal article - but I guess BBC didn't get the memo (why'd they choose them anyway, why not a tech journalist or personality who would understand what was happening).  Perhaps the intent of yesterday was discredit the media and the traditional news cycle (and manipulators thereof) as a lesson (and assume yesterday was not about discrediting Gavin).

In the alternative, perhaps w/ his tax issues, Craig needs a job and trying to demo his core dev credentials to blockstream.  <--- Joke, no ill will intended twd Blockstream.

he was only giving an example of how to verify a sig not provide proof of being satoshi

I think you should just look at Coblee's post (no need for the big song and dance and especially showing a bunch of console stuff that is meaningless to 99.9% of people).

This is simply typical misdirection.

And if you are so sure that this guy is Satoshi would you care to take a (say 10 BTC) bet on it?

who is Coblee, no matter lets go to the source.

there you have it!

are you willing to bet 10BTC that he isn't satoshi thats the question.

I bet 1 btc that he is satoshi but he gave us that stupid proof so that people thinks he is just a ridicule and we all leave him alone.Satoshi is Craig Wright but he wants us to believe that he is definitely not Satoshi.

but now that hes thought about it some more he has decied to go ahead with the full on proof no one can deny.

coming soon a TX from an early block known to be a SN address
