If this is true I think this is very irresponsible. She posts the photo, house photo, legal name, and more information of someone that wants to be anonymous. Not to mention how dangerous this would be if true. I imagine many people would do terrible things to get his private keys.

Myself and several others have sent emails to the author of this report.

This article is blatantly disrespectful, a breach of journalist integrity, and has placed this entire household in potential life-threatening danger.

I will be sending emails to voice my opinion here.

Furthermore, her entire argument is speculation that "this guy with a similar name has a profile that would not be out of line with the creator of bitcoin."  She presents no factual evidence, beyond a quote of questionable accuracy and dubious intent:

"I am no longer involved in that and I cannot discuss it," he says, dismissing all further queries with a swat of his left hand. "It's been turned over to other people. They are in charge of it now. I no longer have any connection."

But then later, the article is refers several times to him being a private person and that he won't likely admit to it even if it's true.

It's certainly the most convincing to date, but the author has been incredibly reckless with this man's personal details.

Unless he can do a signed transaction from an address known to be that of the originator of bitcoin, then I dont believe, sorry.
