I think it’s impressive that they are hosting a €62.000 freeroll and when there are problems with the software they upgrade it to a €73.000 freeroll. Also the number of players were a lot higher than I thought it would be, I think there were more than 3.500 playing the freeroll.
I believe this is some of the reasons why we are seeing a huge spike in the BRK and BRX price.:
1. Breakout Casino and Breakout Lotto will launch this month.

3. They are doing a lot of adverting, especially at the large poker tournaments that are running in Las Vegas at the moment.
They are definitely willing to spend money and the development are moving forward.

Can anyone explain BRX to me, i know that it has a fixed supply unlike BRK, but what does it mean that it "stakes BRK". What is the function behind it?

BRX is used to generate new BRK coins. So when you have BRX in your wallet and stake the wallet, you earn BRK coins. Annual return of staking is 5%. If I remember well, your wallet begins to stake around 2 weeks after BRX are placed in the wallet.
Ok so if I have 10000 BRX i get 500 BRK each year if i keep them in the official wallet? That makes sense why it's priced higher then.
I do not exactly remember how the staking % is calculted with BRK/BRX. Better join their slack and ask there. I remember that BRK has 5% inflation per anum. But I cannot tell you how many BRK you can earn with 10 000 BRX.

The lag on the platform with the tournament was very unfortunate, a lot of hands got auto-folded because the client had a huge delay every few hands. The client couldn't keep up with the initial 3000 entrants before the tournament had even started. Then after rescheduling the tournament the first 1000-1500 people could get in relatively easily, after this the lags started again.
I hope the team has gotten some concrete statistics out of this and will use it to better the platform. I assume this already is in the works, since they do seem to be planning further expansions and developments within the ecosystem.

Well, all I'm going to say is this...
