Let's believe that you guys are not scammer. Then why your behavior changed after the ICO?

Before ICO Dev's were answering everyone's question and giving update about everything. After the ICO seems like you guys don't care about people who bought your coin.No response at slack or bitcointalk.Last poker update was 24th July about week ago.

I believe  you guys ain't scammer then why your behavior changed after ICO? And people who played poker on your site last 2 months they just want to know...did they wasted their time? seems like  Undecided

They are counting the money. Just kidding. The devs aren't concerned with technical trading, but they are with the plan on OP. The more they deliver good news the greener the price will be. Fundamentals.

I'm in for a long haul.   I know its been posted about but can't remember what page.  But Can someone explain the details of how to Stake our BRX that we bought?
Open your wallet. Make a BRX address. (Go to receive tab - Click New Address -
On Currency, select Breakout Stake - Lable it so you know it is BRX - Click OK)
Then, download your coins and unlock your wallet. then, wait.

Hi All, first off I wanted to say that while I invested in the ICO and am a little disappointed it has dropped so much I still believe in the project and the road map set forth and hope it will rise organically due to development innovation rather than being just another pump and dump coin.  I also understand that any investment is a risk so I expect that there's a high chance the project could fail, but at the same time I also believe that if it succeeds it will reap huge rewards so I'm willing to take that risk. I used this price drop as an opportunity to buy more and bring my average price down.

I am not new to crypto but I am new to staking and have a few questions:

1. As Woody says, do I really need to keep my wallet unlocked? Isn't this a security risk? Can't my coins stake with the wallet locked?

2. At the moment all my coins are in 1 BRX address, does that mean, if I am correct, that I need to wait for 3456 confirmations before they mature and that once they have matured and stake once (earning me 10BRK) I will have to wait for another 3456 confirmations before they stake again? (so I will only get 10BRK every 13 days) Therefore, as someone mentioned before, if I split them into many different addresses I will earn a lot more than if they are in one address? A little confused about this. (e.g. if I only have 1 BRX in an address and it wins the lottery it will still win 10 BRK, while all my other addresses are still either maturing or waiting to win the lottery, and then possibly I could win that lottery every day and get 13x more BRK reward than if they are all in 1 address)

3. Also, if q2 is true and I want to split them in to different addresses my confirmations will have to start from 0 for each of the new addresses, but if I leave a few in my original address will they continue with they number of confirmations they had before i sent the other to new addresses? Or should I wait until this address matures and stakes once before splitting?

4.Do I need to keep my wallet open 24/7 while the confirmations are below 3456, or just when the coins have matured?

Keep up the good work devs! and please try to keep us a little better informed of updates and progress on road map.

Been lurking on here for years, never felt the need to make an account, just always observed, but the convos and claims on here were getting ridiculous, that could be hurting the coin, or wanting to hurt the coin for one reason or another, so I decided to chime in and give my two cents.

About me, I've been into Crypto for about 3 years, only coins I've ever invested my own money in have been Bit, Ethereum, Doge and this....  I can tell you from personal experience as someone who invested in Ethereum during the presale, I think the coin was supposed to come out 2-3 months after the presale, I believe it took over a year, and the message boards on here were FULL of people claiming the same exact claims as I see here "We got scammed"  "The developer is a crook" etc etc etc, when the coin finally came out and hit the market, it was getting dropped left and right, people were claiming "I knew it was a scam!" and selling all their coins.... And then a month later and Ethereum blew up and hasn't looked back.

I came in stating facts, that so far, they have completed every single task on time, until the last few days they've been very forthcoming about everything that's going on, and they claim they've been busy working with the new team, discussing future plans the last few days, so that's why they haven't been on as much, so as for now, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.  But once again, they have a very detailed roadmap of everything they plan to do, and when they plan to do it.   Now, will they stick to it in the coming months, that remains to be seen, but the fact that coin has dropped and people are calling them scam artists, because the coin went from like 16 cents per coin in the IPO to about 5 cents now, shows nothing, except maybe people have lost faith or are panicking, they haven't changed their outlook, timelines or anything since the IPO, so if you believed it would all work out as they claimed it would a month ago, I really don't see why anything has or would have changed, other than 3-4 people bashing them behind a computer for their own personal agenda's one way or the other.

All that being said, I think the next few days are going to be huge for the coin as far as what happens with it.  I think they need to come on and discuss things openly and honestly with the people and give some answers, I think they need to give the coins out on time to the poker players (I for one am still not 100% sure that's going to happen)  and discuss, what if anything they plan to do to help the coin gain some momentum in the market.  Like I said, time will tell, but at this point, I'd rather lose the money I've invested than sell out for 70% loss, 2 weeks after a coin hits the market because a few people in a message board got worried.  Could they be right, absolutely, but if I listed to all the "Scam" comments in this message board on Ethereum, I would have probably cried myself to sleep every night thinking about the money I lost.

well if everyone is soo concerned with the price. I would enjoy it if say Yobit added brx. More exchanges mean more coins tied up that wont stake.  might as well get c-cex onboard and cryptopia

Everyone has their first post some time. At least this first post has a bunch of valid points with perspective added and an approach from both sides. There's more text in this one post than some people have in many posts over many threads combined.

Too many people calling scam in here when they have no concept of what a scam even is.

Been waiting to chime in here for awhile.  I invested in the coin, and have a good amount through playing poker as well... Here's my unbiased 2 cents, for what it's worth...

The Good:

1.) I think people are overreacting as far as the "scam" comments.  They have a map drawn out of what they plan to do, and so far have stuck too it.  People are jumping the gun and either are creating panic because they never invested in the coin, and want the coin to fail, creating a false sense of panic to get some cheaper, or just panicking because the price dropped so fast... Look at almost every other successful coin, it's had a big dump off and "scam" attached to it as well, I was also an investor in the Ethereum presale and it was supposed to come out a few months after the presale, took almost a year after to come out, and there was a HUGE dump when it finally came out and everyone saying it was a scam.  I stayed in, and very glad I did.  Not saying this is the next Ethereum, because obviously it will never be that big, but the platform we all liked in the beginning,  they are still on the road to do that, if we start getting delays/excuses on the real casino etc, then I'll start to worry, but as of now, everything is going to plan, remember that before you hit the panic button.

2.)  They haven't tried to drive up the price.  In someways people could consider this good, or bad, but if they really were trying to scam everyone, take the money and run, I'm pretty sure they could have falsely bought up a large number or them on the cheap, drove the price up and then had a massive dump, the fact that they haven't (like many other scam coins have) is probably a good sign.

The Bad:

Two things mainly worry me.

The BRX sale ended on the 24th and I'm guessing was well below what they were hoping for/expecting.  Since they 24th and all the presales ended, they haven't updated the Spreadsheet on the winners (they used to do it every day or two, it's now been 5 days) and I also have tried emailing them about something, during the presale periods they emailed me back within 30 minutes, I've emailed them twice, once 5 days ago, and once two days ago, and still haven't gotten a reply.   The fact that since the presales ended, they haven't updated the spreadsheets, replied back to emails and kinda fell off the map on the forums here is a little scary.   While I understand bitcointalk isn't nor should be their first concern, when you have people hitting the panic button on here, a little clarity would be nice, and while I understand some people might jump on you when you do come on, you also have to remember you are dealing with peoples money and money in the future.  A few words of positive reinforcement or the direction of where things are going could help people get a clearer sense of where things are going and maybe help get the coin going in the right direction again.

Like I said, that's my two cents.   As for me, I'm sticking it out, at least until October (There really is no point in selling now while it's down 70% anyways) if October they haven't got the casino up and things are on the up and up, I guess I'll sell my coins for whatever they might be worth, or just chalk it up as a loss, but once again, they've had a very clear road map since the beginning and so far have stuck to it, unlike many other of the coins, including Ethereum in the beginning, so everyone take a deep breath, relax, stop causing panic and let's see how this pans out in the next few months.

Gl everyone!

Sometimes it is hard to ignore the FUD, I was never in this for the short term though so I had already committed to losing my BTC if this project didn't go anywhere.

My concern is with the functionality of the the network, I really would like to know if the devs have considered any of the problems and what their plan of action would be. With only ~4 million BRX available and many of them on the exchange I think the confirmation time to maturity will cause a problem with PoS moving the chain quickly enough for the network to be viable.

Your math is way off.  We have ~ 6M BRX with less than 1M on Bittrex.  Staking is fine.  What we need is pool setup for miners so the POW blocks can help move the chain as intended.

-tb-

My "math" isn't off at all, less than 1 million coins sold in 3 ICO 3.3 million sold in 1st ICO and 2.5 million reserved.

3,372,506 BRK & BRX First Coin Sale (Complete)
– 4,357,822.10328 BRK Second Coin Sale (Complete)

6,547,761 BRX Third Coin Sale (Bittrex July 10, 2016 5:00 PM PDT - July 24, 2016 08:00 PM PDT)

We are working to try to build gaming businesses around BRK. Please let us know the nature of updates you would like us to release.

We know the price is down.

dev why do you make us all experiencing a loss in ico BRX ?

Lot's of negativity in the thread is causing many to dump coins in fear. If we respond at all, we get attacked.

It's typical unfortunately, maybe think about moderating the thread or moving to private forum.

To ANYONE who is down on their ICO investment: Get your coins in your wallet and stake!!

Even if you are down it cost nothing to get more coin staking and you will immediately start to recoup losses. Take a minute to look at the big picture, yes they have had several ICOs but a project this big needs a lot of funding.

The team recently got bigger and better things are coming. Just hold and be patient.

We won't abandon bitcointalk easily. We understand the importance of this forum. Our first approach will be to make communicating here a higher priority.

As nasty as they get, we will not delete posts without consensus among the devs.

I'll be the one to say it.

I like the project and will continue supporting it.  I bought in the ico and also got a bunch at 10ksat.
I have a ton of brx in my wallet split into 250+ transactions, waiting for the staking frenzy.

I have faith in the team and breakout.

Same here, I am only quiet because the blood tastes so good! I will continue buying 5k would be amazing.

I'm a noob at staking, but now I'm worried about my investment.  Will the rest of us smaller investors be able to compete for stake or will the 250+ input people monopolize on all the staking opportunity?  Would it be wise for me to continue to hold my small investment for a chance at staking, or should I get out now and find another more inclusive investment opportunity?

Don't you worry your little socks off. There are over 6500 blocks each month for staking. With 13day maturity,  that only let's each input stake a Max of 2X.  The difficulty is also practically zero.
Pretty much once your input is mature it will stake the next block.
I'm currently testing input size, but pretty sure the rewards will be huge based on the 50%burn and zero inflation.

I'd actually love to hear what happens with this - I didn't account for 50% burn and zero inflation.
