Isn't 'Ron James' a Canadian comedian ?

Is the clue in the name perhaps....

Remember their previous website, or what is said to be their previous website: Poker by Proxy. They were pretending to be gambling in Canadian casinos with very proper descriptions of the casinos. So my guess is they are canadian based and the name they are using 'Ron James' is indeed a clue....

I guess loosing the money sucks the most, but I do miss logging in every day and watch 'their' deposit grow. Doing the math ... and dreaming of retirement. Haha, I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I saw my, excuse me, their money still increasing. Hell if it wasn't for the site going down, and not talking about some foolish buyout.... I know I would have given them even more by now.... Sadly though, I do miss seeing the increases and stroking my false hope daily. There is a piece missing out of me,,, well and a few bitcoin as well. --Cheers!

I made a small withdrawal and deposit to test the system.... the withdrawal obviously came from the "trading" account and the deposit went back to the same.  Very small movement from the "legacy" account to the "trading" account.

I am curious of another thing, and I need support from people who successfully deposit some amounts lately (yesterday&today): where the amount is being shown - in the active balance or in the legacy? if it is in the active balance, can anyone proceed with a withdrawal and see if that amount will be reimbursed? recommended amounts over 1 btc to see what happens...but I know, everyone will say: who is "smart" enough to deposit something over 1 btc after reading these threads? maybe we can make some experiments with what we have. It may mean: we have our old amounts blocked and if we deposit more we will get more profit...and maybe after 2 months another sell to another investor will occur and all balance will be blocked again Smiley...who knows...anyways, if I were someone who wants to make an investment now in btc arbs, I would not put my btcs there.

If it is true that the newer deposits are being split among all users with blocked amounts, me being one of them, I would encourage that scam in order to recover my loss Smiley...but still, we're human and please, hold your investments for now and keep an eye on this thread.

Right now I see btc arbs like this: if you want to lose some btcs make a deposit there...but instead, I can give you my wallet address and you can donate them directly to me. all your donations will be appreciated Smiley..I am joking of course...again being positive Smiley

BTW today I got another 0.0027 btc in my account, identical amount with my previous transfer amount...

I'm getting the impression the scam isn't quite the scam we were all expecting.
It's actually a little bit more devious. Instead of just taking the money and running they're locking down the accounts for a certain amount of time, during which they'll continue to bring in profits for themselves and not have to share them.

Imagine they have 1000 BTC and manage a 1% profit. They've just made 10 BTC/$4400 without using any of their own money.
Using the first two weeks results from April they could make 500 BTC/$250,000
Not a bad little earner. Then they'll "finish the audit" and transfer the remaining funds. Go back to profit sharing and in a few months pull a different trick. Server problems, banned from exchanges, staff illness, another audit or acquisition.

That's my hope anyway, I'd like to get my BTC back and if I'm right about the above that'll happen.

Who'll still be investing with them if you get your BTC back?

You very well could be correct.   However it is still a scam.   At the best case we have lost earnings we should be getting and have lost access to our bitcoin.    Probably why the returned currency so police wouldn't be encouraged to investigate.

Best case is that we're missing out on earnings for a while but will eventually get access to our BTC.
Worst case, they just string along for as long as they can and then close up shop.

Either way you're right, it's a scam.

Well no transfers from Legacy to active today, I would say hope is quickly running away.

There was another one, another 1/270th of the total deposit.  Or about 1/400th of my total amount.

I hate to say it but it seams like they are splitting all the new deposits or the profits to everyone's account to transfer to normal BTC.

That is what I thought at first, but why the same amount?  (I guess they could have gotten the exact same amount deposited.)

Ok, it's not much, but if you count this for every account, why are they doing this if they were scamming?
I don't get it ...

They are scamming, they aren't paying us are owed gains.

Don't get me wrong - I'm very suss about this now.... but your statement isn't logical. Taking their explanation at face-value, they're only paying interest on the non-legacy amounts; which would make sense if they're auditing the accounts as it wouldn't make sense to trade with amounts they haven't confirmed yet. If there was any anomalies in legacy accounts then it would make a mess to calculate incorrect payments.

We can't say for sure they're scamming until there's proof, it's no point stating it as a fact when it's not. All we can say is that it's concerning that they haven't communicated adequately, and that the process is far from transparent.

It is 100% a scam to use our funds to trade and not pay us interest on them.   It is 100% a scam to suddenly not allow us to withdraw our funds.   What more proof could possibly need?    No wonder scammer are able to scam!    What they are doing doesn't make any sense at all.   It is only logical to conclude it is a scam.

just to stay positive about this sh!t: 2 more days and I will withdaw 0.01 btc lol....another 1% out....every 4 days...it means98% remained multiplied by 4 -> you do the math until I will be able to get everything out...lol a bit more than 1 year....excellent and brilliant again...I hope the fees won't apply to that (at least didn't happened to my first withdrawal) Smiley

Let's wait and see what happens...but I am still not confident on seeing my whole amount back...

Maybe they just plane to pay back the same amount everyday until we are all whole or it falls apart. I just received the same canned response in the support zone. I guess all we can do is wait and see. Good luck to all. I am leaving my funds in there as they are transferred over. Time to roll the dice. No 7
