In the interest of tracking progress, I will update as I receive payments.

Principal invested: 27 BTC (Total w/interest: 35.6)
Returned from "legacy": 2.2 BTC
Repaid directly: 1 BTC
Principal owed: 23.8 (32.4 w/interest)

Probably only reason you got paid that 1 btc from your quite large investment is because you are an active poster here. Tactics are very much so similar to HourlyRevShare.

Please just go away, you don't have any interest in BTC-ARBS by your own claims and you are only stirring up more doubt and stress.   You are always negative unless someone wants to ref you for FinMutual HYIP.   That makes you even worse than the people running HYIPs.

Right now any BTC people recover is a great benefit to them.   I hope to recover mine too.

I stopped checking this a bit back figuring we were SOL of ever getting those BTC back. Pleasantly surprised to see that there was some developments but seem rather unfair that he/she will not be reimbursing those that originally committed funds but might not check this thread as they would not know to send their info.

Anyways, I sent my info yesterday through a PM and still haven't seen a penny. I probably had one of the medium sized accounts (8 BTC deposited, up to 11BTC+) so it is a relatively sizable sum, hope I at least get the original 8 BTC back. I asked for a simple confirmation that he/she saw my PM at the end of the PM, didn't get that either yet.

Just waiting now........

Still haven't seen a penny returned.

I sent 1 bitcoin to the address in your sig. I also sent a PM with additional information.
It is public so it can be confirmed

skunk - fully refunded
hongo - fully refunded
rahulgarg12342 - fully refunded

I had emailed an address that was different from my tipping address, so I could track it. Please use that one, instead. The one in my Sig is in another wallet.

You probably won't. When HourlyRevShare strung refunds to the members, it was months of random payouts to some people, when 99% receiving not a dime back. They spent months stringing along people successfully.

The problem is that the arbitrage possibilities using the exchanges he quotes involve making transfers in fiat for repeated buy/sells. The ~2% arbitrage he quoted cannot be performed on all funds on a daily basis, it would be spread out over several days. It's not possible to provide the returns he posted on btc-arbs unless he is using other mechanisms than the btc-e/bitstamp arbitrage route, such as a ponzi. At the moment, I think the easiest money to make is to hold a short position in dogecoin.

Still no sign of any repayment.

I'd really like to know what the former admin's plan of attack for repayment is going to be. So far, all we have is a post trying to calm the natives and there's been no action taken yet to make anyone whole, apparently.

It is possible he is just trying to buy time.

looks like another stall tactic. it doesn't take 2 days to process refunds if you're genuine about returning funds.

I think you guys misunderstand...he will eventually pay back the BTC he scammed, but my guess is he doesn't have enough to make payments...so if you read his note he seems to allude to doing more abitrage transactions first with the BTC he still does have and then use the proceeds from that for payments.

Or did I completely just read it wrong??

Did anyone get a suspicious email with a docx attachment shortly after sending an email to btc-arbs?

Not I.

Nope I've gotten abosolutely no response back...not even an acknowledgment that my info was recieved and that I've been added to whatever ledger he's using to keep track of things.

I've emailed them. I haven't had a response (that I know of) nor a refund.
