Of course all Russians are on btce, because it was only site in Russian with Russian support and high volume. Now, of course we must believe the USA fake news that every Russian is a hacker and not just there because of above fact

I can say you are pretty much uninformed

Or just deliberately spreading misinformation here since there is another "Russian" exchange out there. It is called Exmo, and they are located in Spain (if I'm not mistaken). They are not big but they have a very fast Russian support as well as Russian trollbox (if anyone cares), and, unsurprisingly, they don't have a whatever license they should have. I asked them about it today, but they didn't reply anything specific and just pointed me to their Terms and Conditions (I don't think that could count as a license). So they may well be next in line to be hijacked by the FBI tomorrow

So, my conclusion, a money printing entity accused of breaking USA AML/KYC rules will be of course back online, because they either pay the fine, implement the bully's rules or just simply ignore them.

I think they can only survive if they pay the fine and implement the AML/KYC (cut a deal with the USA). If they ignore them, their USD/EUR channels will all be cut off -- no banks can risk dealing with a company blacklisted for money laundering. Not sure about RUR. But they have real risk of bank account seizures. I don't see how this can sustain long term.

Even if they went Polo-style and removed fiat, only USDT for instance (I'm not sure how they can acquire that amount of USDT either), I don't see how they removed the target on their back from the USA authorities.

Remember what happened with the Bitcoin from Silk Road. The owner of that site was also accused of money laundering, all Bitcoin was seized by the US government and later auctioned off. Does not look good, I really don't see why the people behind the site would endanger themselves further by putting the site back online with the US government on your tail you're just asking to be found and locked up. Even if they get it back up people will withdraw everything. I'm sorry for people that lost funds, I spent many days in the trollbox myself.

Why the hell are you comparing btce to silk road? Unbelievable you Americans. Are you really believing the media outlet controlled by fiat obsessed billionaire type individuals?

You can only compare it to bitfinex and bitstamp. Because this is what btce is, an EXCHANGE and 90% of Russians are using btce and not some European website. So, referring to those media, all Russians are hackers, correct?

The media always jumping on some meta statements off a site (ap, reuters) because they don't know better and do not care but it was NOT a money laundering website. Why trading and exchanging bitcoin must be called money laundering now? And what does it mean for bitstamp or bitfinex? They have a license and it is not money laundering anymore. A joke, correct?

Vinnik is accused and not found guilty at this time, an individual person may have used btce to launder money and btce as an entity is only guilty - in the USA point of view - for not implementing their rules of KYC. This is the only thing btce is guilty of, if we consider the USA point of view as the global meta law all have to follow.

So, my conclusion, a money printing entity accused of breaking USA AML/KYC rules will be of course back online, because they either pay the fine, implement the bully's rules or just simply ignore them.

whys everyone compare btc-e to silk road, btc-e wasn't a site that sold drugs or hitmen for hire.

No they didn't sell drugs and hitmen for hire, but they laundered their money.

The difference being that in the SR case they had Ross' laptop, and Ross, so they could threaten him with the old fashioned rubber hose treatment and get the keys.

I doubt that the US govt has the keys to the BTC-e bitcoin.

I remember you from the trollbox, did you lose anything?

No I withdrew everything a few days before they shut down by pure luck

Actually I might've lost 20 cents or so

I moved funds from BTC-e earlier as well. Like 3 weeks ago.

Damn lucky, I've talked to a few people who got out just in time but most got screwed.

Some people did openly talk about dealing drugs in the chat though which isn't the brightest of ideas

I read the entire indictment. The way they speak about BTC-e users does not give confidence. They basically say that the users of BTC-e are all criminals and even base it on something as stupid as their username, giving reference to users with names like "CocaineCowboys".
