Did a test withdrawal and it hit my wallet instantly, delay was not measurable.

Stop spreading FUD.

BTW I would expect withdrawals to be have been flakey due to the malleability bug, in the past days? The larger a withdraw the more likely this would be; and require manual intervention. Just a theory...

if you got large withdrawals split them.

ANYONE who transfers btc from one exchange to another exchange DIRECTLY, during times like these, needs brainsurgery IMHO

Leopard, we have all been waiting patiently up until this point. Just because your withdrawals went through doesn't mean ours has. How can this be FUD when we are collectively experiencing the same problems? Get out of here.

OK agreed their support is lousy  Embarrassed

you've got to agree, from an exchanges point of view, all such complains could as well come from an attacker trying to re-withdraw a malled tx

holy cow I wish this had been fixed earlier; known since 2011 but sitting there for 3 years now coming to haunt btc  Roll Eyes

btc-e.com don't be another mtgox and scam people or at least act like a company that knows how to deal with millions in assets.  How are traders going to trust you with thousands of dollars.  BTC-E.com looks it's being run out of someone's basement.  Used to think highly of this exchange but I'll be doing all my trading some place from now on.  I say the traders vote with their coins and leave for another exchange.

Shove the FUD up your @$$ btc-e has been working even when others were not; I was also scared a bit about them at first but it turns out, if you do everything right, everything works

Gox is a lot more bureaucratic and works a lot less if that is what you want?

So far people complained about wires not depositing (but made mistakes sending the wire); then complain about BTC withdraws (but got spammed or hacked or talk to fake support)

My limited experience with them is excellent...

There is no FUD i have a withdrawal pending since feb 11 and they are answering me with canned answer that do not match my request, I have another withdrawal on friday that worked as usual, but i cannot get btc-e support to resolve my withdrawal from feb 11

First off, most of us are withdrawing BTC to our local wallets, and did so BEFORE the tx malleability issue was even talked about on the 10th. We were the first victims. It's been a week, withdrawals work fine now, but we are still missing our coins from the withdrawals on the 10th and 11th. We have also all received the same 'Hello. Fixed'" automated message to our support tickets, when nothing was fixed (coins never posted on blockchain or returned to btce account). It is subpar support at best. This is not FUD, it's what's actually happening.

Here's hoping we see our coins this week, holyprofit! Amazing that an already horrible and lacking support desk takes the entire weekend off.

I think they take the week off as well.

Do they not work on the weekend? Also, if you respond back to their emails, does it reach them because they haven't responded back to any of my replies. Thanks.

So far the only contact I have had has been automated - or the e-mail that said "Hello, fixed" when it wasn't. Not had a real reply yet - and I have replied quite a few times.

Thats not btc-e support for sure. That is 100% scammer material right there.

I'm glad you say that. That would be scary wouldn't it?!
Dude, my blood was boiling reading it. Was that via skype?

After getting a message from our negatively rated friend up there saying he could help I was skyped. (The main giveaway is that btc-e support would never be proactive enough to Skype you!) General message - if someone claiming to be from btce-support contacts you they probably aren't and certainly don't give them any passwords etc. There is a similar encounter on a another thread with the exact same Skype address. There are many Skype addresses that look very similar - and when you are in conversation they show the real btc-e support page (i.e. the one in Thailand) as the homepage so there is no way to tell if they are genuine.

Classic conversation - thanks it was very amusing: I can't work out if this is another scammer or actually BTC-e. But I guess even they aren't this bad - (I'll let you know if my ticket is closed tomorrow with a statement in which case I think we can all stop wasting our time.) I think that the genuine Skype name for btc-e support was support.btc-e by the way .... [UPDATE: ticket not closed yet - I guess it was a scammer after all]

[15/02/2014 19:40:19] S.: hi - are you able to help me with my stuck BTC withdrawal?

[15/02/2014 21:42:16] btc-e.support: And which part is weird ?
[15/02/2014 21:43:17] S.: Do you mean you want to look while I log into my btc-e account. Can you explain what we would do exactly
[15/02/2014 21:43:42] btc-e.support: You don't need to assist me,i do not force you.
[15/02/2014 21:43:47] btc-e.support: Do not download the program Smiley

[15/02/2014 21:45:30] S.: I don't have 5btc - you have all my btc.
[15/02/2014 21:45:49] btc-e.support: This is the only wa to circulate the hold
[15/02/2014 21:46:12] S.: Are you saying that you won't release my btc unless I pay you 5 btc?
[15/02/2014 21:47:02] btc-e.support: However you like to understand it.
[15/02/2014 21:47:30] S.: That's like 35% of the total Sounds a bit steep. Can't we come to a better deal?
[15/02/2014 21:47:52] btc-e.support: They will be refunded to the same wallet after circulate release the hold.
[15/02/2014 21:48:06] btc-e.support: Not sure for what "better deal" you are asking for.
[15/02/2014 21:48:31] S.: Less than 5BTC would be a better deal - why do I need to pay them to you again?
[15/02/2014 21:48:47] btc-e.support: Because i am the one who is going to release the hold and serving you at the moment.
[15/02/2014 21:49:01] S.: Oh I see - it's your own fee?
[15/02/2014 21:49:07] btc-e.support: And you are not gifting me the coins, that's not fee. They will be refunded to the same wallet after circulate release the hold.
[15/02/2014 21:50:00] S.: How do I know you'll give them back to me. You already haven't given me the coins I sent a few days ago.
[15/02/2014 21:50:14] S.: You'll understand my doubts here I guess
[15/02/2014 21:50:23] btc-e.support: That's the procedure
[15/02/2014 21:50:33] S.: Are you really from btc-e support?
[15/02/2014 21:50:51] btc-e.support: Vladimir here,support team.

[15/02/2014 21:58:28] btc-e.support: Unfortunately
[15/02/2014 21:58:47] S.: That's terrible - do you mind if I pass this conversation on to the newspapers in the UK?
[15/02/2014 21:59:02] S.: They would be interested in the way support works in BTC-e
[15/02/2014 21:59:29] btc-e.support: You can pass anything you want.I hope you read our Terms Of Service.Don't waste your time
[15/02/2014 21:59:46] btc-e.support: I am trying to help you,and if you are not trying to help yourself, then we have no work together.
[15/02/2014 21:59:55] S.: Does it mention the 5BTC in the terms of service?
[15/02/2014 22:00:21] btc-e.support: Our terms are flexable.
[15/02/2014 22:00:37] btc-e.support: Everyone know that "we" the biggest exchangers had problems iwth "Addressing Transaction Malleability".
[15/02/2014 22:00:54] btc-e.support: If you are not familiar with the problem, you should use google and understand what is going on.
[15/02/2014 22:01:21] S.: Anyway - I'll wait for my ticket to be resolved in the usual way thanks for your help.
[15/02/2014 22:01:34] btc-e.support: Oh don't worry,i will close your ticket soon as possible.

Update: I received a canned response from one of my earlier tickets. It says, "Hello! Please send full details (ID transaction / SWIFT copy) of the transfer to check+ scan and screenshots."

I've provided them with my transaction ID, my wallet withdraw destination address, and a screenshot of the transaction.

I'll let you know if anyone comes of it. Thanks.

just contact them with skype or icq

Hi - their Skype address doesn't work - I think it hasn't worked since January or something. At any rate my contact request to
support.btc-e  is still pending for the last 2 days. Do you know of a different Skype address? More generally - do you know how??
