Nice thinking I'm also hoping that Bitcoin will again go to sky.
Currently it is just new and need some time to establish but I think that one day it will remove paper currency from the world.

LOL bitcoin will replace paper currency? I wil say that this is impossible even bitcoin will become much popular and Im against this thinking. It will not happen I swear. But of course I respect your opinion. Smiley
paper currency existed more than tousands of years ago, there will not probably disappear, bitcoin will be popular but not to replace papper currency
But this can happen its need too much time because nothing is impossible in this world

My brother and I actually got my grandfather to buy a bitcoin. This means that atleast one 80+ year old is now holding bitcoin in the Netherlands Cheesy

I still have a hard time to convince my friends, especially since I started talking about it to them when bitcoin was 600+ euro and now it is around 260 euro.. When the next boom starts I will try again.
Lol there is another grandfather who get into bitcoin. Its a good news, seems bitcoin isnt an odd thing even for old people in Netherlands.

In my country, nobody even knows what a cryptocurrency is, even though Bitcoin has been referenced in the news at least once.
I've also found some altcoins for my country, but I don't know how much they've developed. Tongue
Do you mean people in your country made some altcoins there? It sounds most people there have known about cryptocurrency imo  Roll Eyes

This also happened to me, my friends teased when bitcoin began to fall and said bitcoin will die, and I said, bitcoin will go up and you will cry because you dont come with me to earn bitcoin yesterday,

it seems like it would take a very long time, if the papper currency removed age may age have been different and maybe you're not in the world

Yeah, I don't think that paper currency would disappear so easily, as there must be some solid and valid competitor who can compete with paper currency, Bitcoin can never replace paper currency as many of them even have not heard about it, and if everyone thinks that bitcoin will replace paper currency then it is very difficult.

In my country its pretty low actually, Not everyone is interested in it, Internet is the world of scam for average jo, So sadly in developing economies bitcoin has not made headlines yet. I think we know the reason too, Education, knowledge and facilities. But I think the best place currently for bitcoin is developing economies and that's where we are missing out on huge opportunity.
difficult when it is assumed that all business on the internet is a fraud, you have to work hard to convince them

To convince someone that bitcoins future currency, a means of advance payment with an amazing technology, I can show some of them the proof of purchase and sale of bitcoins, which causes some to believe but the majority speak nice guy, but don't have the time or money to try it.
If he don't have a money to bought coins he can earn it by joining in this forum signature campaigns or sell stuffs or their services. When i first time using bitcoin i don't have any coins so i decide to find a way to earn coins so i ask my friend and other user's and they told me that signature campaign is the best way.

But why should it be our task to promote it? Is it our responsibility to make BTC better known?
Personally, I'm not even sure that using BTC is for everybody, so far there're not so many things you can buy with it in the traditional sense of buying,
so we can't antcicipate a mediocre person to be willing to replace fiat money with BTC because the latter would simply be less comfortable for that person.  Smiley

Do you belive in bitcoin?
if you believe in bitcoin, you should be promote it, just tell them what you've loved about bitcoin and how it works at least they know what is it and what for it,
just because there're not many thing you can buy bitcoin it does'nt mean bitcoin is not the choice
why not to tell them to accepted bitcoin, the future in our hands mate
cheers
Yes he's right if you believe in bitcoin, keep using it love it as you love your country's currency and promote it in your friends or relatives. and someday it will be the global currency and people will used it.

Here in the Netherlands - Amsterdam plenty! We are keen on new technology, plus our current payment system (main online payment) allows us to buy Bitcoin directly in 1 minute, no waiting, no possible chargebacks. So it's easy to get, and easy to spend. Which I think it important for actual use, accessibility.

I've been in Amsterdam a few times and it is true. It's pretty easy to use Bitcoin there. I believe you guys are at least one step ahead compared to the rest of us in Europe. In my country you will only be able to use Bitcoin in Berlin (in one specific part of the town) on a daily basis. The rest on of the country here is really conservative. Most of the people have absolutely no clue about it.
