Bitcoin will be the first coin in the cryptocurrency market for at least 2 years. I don't think Ethereum will ever be able to bypass Bitcoin at the price.
I chose ETH. but ETH is currently at a very low price. this possibility occurs because of negative trends from all ico. Hopefully this won't last so this ETH can be the second best coin

Recently, I became disappointed in Ethereum and I think that it will never rise to the previous heights. Ethereum developers don't hurry to introduce innovations, therefore the absolute winner this year will be bitcoin.
For me i used both ETH and BITCOIN here in the Philippines but most often i used bitcoin.. Its hard balancing but converting currency ETH>BITCOIN, BITCOIN>ETH... depends on situation which bursing the value which i take advantage to increase the savings i have.. most of the application here my country uses both ETH and BITCOIN in one application which you can purchase items / trading and also investing..
Bitcoin. And who does not like it? Ethereum is a centralized fake, which depends not only on the state of Bitcoin, but also on the ICO sphere.
Ethereum is quite interesting because of its faster transactions and supporting smart contracts that most ICOs use, unlike Bitcoin which has a sole purpose of replacing money into digital ones. Bitcoin still rules for me this year, however, Ethereum is catching up and I think will be competitor to what Bitcoin has started.

They both got to incredibly low values, especialy on september 2018, bitcoin is still going stronger so if you have to choose between one of them, choose btc.

Both has good potential in which when used together will help us earn more profit than choosing only one. We have various choices and we should use all of them.
This year has not yet ended, but I think that this year Bitcoin seemed better than Ethereum. Bitcoin proved to be more stable in the bear market. Perhaps Ethereum this year will still be able to show its strength.

I prefer to have both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both can be consider as the best because both have good potential and looking good future, Bitcoin is a gold standard in crypto. Ethereum is going to be the next BTC, it will grow a times faster than in 2018. Ethereum will follow the next crypto world.
These are both very good coin because they are the most potential and most dominated crypto. They are also very stable and very good coin for hold on long term but I think bitcoin will remain the best and most potential coin in crypto.

In my opinion, the prices of these two coins will move in the same direction this year. Perhaps the BTC exchange rate will be less subject to correction, but its level of growth will also be less. And to buy ETH it is possible as well for investing in ICO, which can bring additional profit.
It's hard to say which is better bitcoin or ETH. Now it seems that bitcoin looks stronger, but I would advise having both Crypto currencies in your investment portfolio if you work long-term.
