Both are dropping consistently, even though we are already on september 2018 it seems like they both could take long to recover, I am still aiming for bitcoin though.
When market is falling I would prefer Bitcoin, because in bear market Bitcoin is the most stable cryptocurrency.
For me the two companies are good because they are both in demand business in this industry but in terms of buying a low amount coins with good quality you can count on the company of ethereum.

I think ETH will be moon very soon, now a days price of ETH is under or near $200 but i think at the end of 2018 it may be near $800.
there is no harm between investment in ethereum or bitcoin. both are equally good as our investments. especially the price of both is currently experiencing a price decline

For this year 2018 ethereum is more better to invest because they are more cheaper than bitcoin. And it means if the price of the coin are cheap possible that you gain more money but if the coin are potential to pump and ethereum is like that. Cheaper and potential and you gain more money if buy and hold it.
Looking at the current crypto market conditions, it seems like I don't need to explain it because now the price of ETH is very far behind the price of BTC, so I think for the next 5 years BTC will continue to lead in the crypto world.

Bitcoin is more of the coin that I would spend if I was spending money for something on the Internet shops. 
Well they can actually both rule the cryptocurrency market in 2018. But they have different things how they rule it. it the past months or year Ethereum actually gain an amazing price which gives a lot of profit to the investor because of its small transaction cost. and Bitcoin got a highest value on all cryptocurrency which also the transaction cost increased. for me they can actually rule in 2018.

Only an unhealthy person will decide that Ethereum can be better than Bitcoin. Yes, acne really messed with Ethereum and well it improves, but he always leaves a back door that allows him to control everything.
I trust ETH more, but I think it's a bad idea to invest only in one coin. And maybe the price for BTC will grow faster. Therefore, it is better to invest in ETH and BTC.
