I don't think it's for both of them at the moment, from the beginning of the year until now bitcoin and ethereum have decreased in price and it's not very good. this is very worrying.
I think that this year bitcoin and etherium are still on the top, if i were to choose i might choose this two, even if this two has differencies but still coins are safer to invest. Of course bitcoin has an advantages because it is high value compare to eth.
This year I would choose BTC, because this year the price of ETH has fallen very much and is almost not growing.

Bitcoin will still rule, because Eth has not been able to compete with BTC in price. especially Eth's current situation is very bad. so it's still the Bitcoin that will rule.

So i really don't think there is any point again debating on this issue because we have gone way pass half of this year and bitcoin has proven its supremacy over Ethereum once again and it is currently the most valued cryptocurrency so yeah bitcoin rules in this year till the very end of it, period!
