I've blacklisted your IP. Since sockets are working just "fine and dandy" there's no need refresh ...at all.
Clear browser cache, use chrome, use latest flash player, and I'm sure you will get live data Smiley

Anyway, your IP are now out of the blacklist - if you have problems with live data - please contact me, or write here.

There's hard refresh every 15 minutes (all data is reloaded).

I got this weird error when trying to refresh btccharts.com

"We're sorry...

... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now."

What's going on? I can't seem to get the chart back.

and yes thank you Mt. Gox for another saturday night I will have to ditch my gf ... lol XD

It would be nice if they had a PR presence on the board here at least as strong as Zhou maintains with Bitcoinica.  (Maybe they do and I just haven't noticed, in which case I humbly admit my ignorance).

This looks like MtGox hear the voice of people and added more power!
Anyway - socketio is very strong last hour and you can see this by increased move.

Thank you MtGox!

Bad thing they don't have anyone here to talk. But maybe it's better, such "silent PR"? Wink

Looks like there's bug:

Bids should be asks and asks-bids. But it depends how you interpret it.
I will leave this until next update. Maybe it should be sell/buy?

I'm currently in middle of the work on some kind of "rebroadcasting" system and it will take next couple days.
There's chance you will get live data from all exchanges no matter if they have any sockets API.

I'm thinking how to show volume, I have some ideas, but maybe you guys have some proposals, examples?

"sell/buy" for that part of it is IMO much less confusing than "ask/bid"

New features:
 - big current price can be resized (see settings)
 - trade % change, time range (rollover to trade, press mouse, hold, move to other trade)
 - bigger font (12px to 14px)
 - instructions popup - you can turn this off in settings

Price position - currently this is determined by data from MtGox. In future you will be able to set $ bid/ask range manually.

Live data - MtGox socket api can't handle so many connections at this moment. Since it's quite essential and there's no official response on this case from MtGox I've decided to create some kind of sockets replacement by myself. This will take couple days to write.

Donations - the best donation is your feedback (feature request, bug report etc ) Wink

If you could make that final price font twice as big, that would be great.

I wish I could send you donations.

why don't you center the last price in the middle of the chart at the bottom?

No, no no, it's fine where it is!  There's nothing in the way of it there.  It could stand to be a larger size font though IMO

when its not centered, you don't get a good symmetric idea of the relative size of the bid and ask mountains as they fan out from  the price.

Oh, I see; I misunderstood, I thought you were referring to the big-font price up at the top in the center.

here's a tip:  list the daily % change in price from the previous day.  no other charting service has the decency to do this.  this is a basic data point that EVERYONE will want to see.  especially when we're getting huge gains right now.

I think bitcoincharts.com does that.  But yeah I'd like to see that too.
