very nice, [...] & I like how the historical time shows in Hours & not 100's of Minutes as on MtGox live, many thanks!

Indeed!

Also, let me see here... Yep, works well with Opera too :-D

So if you used ActionScript, does that mean this is actually a flash app?  Is having Flash runtime installed a requirement for this?  Or am I missing something?

ooooh and now a dark theme... (unless it was there before and i just didn't notice)
One thing i'd like to see is a big, "in-my-face" number in the upper right or somewhere indicating current price.  I like to keep it up on mah tee vee.
Huh, well - ok, in this week Smiley

What did you code this in, if not javascript?
Sockets are from JavaScript (there's rather no other way).
Client - ActionScript3 (Adobe Flash).
ServerSide in python (google app engine, but maybe I will move to "normal" hosting and php).

zoom - yes. Order book will have price range (full!) for bids/asks. Trade - time range, but this is part of bigger thing. For now changing depth scale to this my pseudo "log scale" can do the job.
timescale - in other words you want time labels on right side (on y axis)?
orders tooltop "move" - it works also on keyboard arrows UP and DOWN

There's a really long list of features to add, stay tuned Wink

Question for linux users (12%!) - everything works?

BTCCharts.com is very nice, consumes less CPU for displaying compared to JavaScript version in MtGox.

I just miss the ZOOM function. Can you add it, please?

Hey, this looks cool. Looks like Mtgoxlive has a serious competitor. Smiley

Nice interface! The mouse wheel trick is neat, too.

i use a MagicPad Angry

what does it do?

If you mouseover the ask/bid lines it will show you the exact amount/price and you can scroll and it will move along the line and scroll the amount/price in a little popup box.  That's the best I can explain it anyway.

Once again, mtgox is delayed, even clark moody is messing up for me at least, but btccharts is working just fine. We just hit 4.85 again, but you can't tell from mtgoxlive.

Thanks for the feedback! Smiley

There will be some kind of ticker (recent trades in detail). But first I'm planning to create trade volume - more important I think.

Historical depth preview will be delayed for some time (let's say 3 weeks max). There's always some more useful things to do Wink

Great work! You managed to stay online even though the trading volume was huge again! Can't say the same about Mtgoxlive.com =) I'd love to see ticker data similar to Mtgoxlive if possible, though Smiley

I have a suggestion:

Allow users to zoom in as you can on MTgoxlive to get a look at what is going on nearer to current market prices. My problem with Mtgoxlive with this feature is that it is only at preset values. If you could input a maxium number which the graph could be zoomed to it would be more useful (10k, 20k, etc). Just my two bitcents on the matter.

most ppl are interested in the total USD amount required to get to each point along the mountain from the current price level.

also current price should be centered.
