yup, bitvps to the rescue! Cheesy

I've just wake up (sometimes you need sleep Wink ) and applying btccharts on new server, this can take ~2h if there will be no unexpected problem, but domain propagation can take a while (up to 24h) anyway.

edit: and I've just got mail from bitsforcoins, that they have some disk fail. My server should work but is still dead, I've send them mail about this and let's see how thing will go...

Glad to say that BitVPS is now providing *proper* hosting for BTCCharts.com

I just set them up and am damn glad to have them as customers.

Finally our damn site will be up! I need some stats ASAP! Smiley
Maybe you should save your little press releases until the site loads for everyone, yeah?

I really hate having to use mtgoxlive.com - please get this back up soon.

goxlive is a resource hog, and doesn't have the same features you do. Please, come back!!!

oh yeah, BTC @ $7, and btccharts is down, not cool

Looks like there will be another hosting change. Maybe someone have any proposition?
I'm interested in VPS/dedicated:
OS: Windows Server 2003/2008
memory 3-4GB (with swap will be +)
CPU that gets min 2000 points on that benchmark http://www.cpubenchmark.net/mid_range_cpus.html
20GB HDD
1 TB transfer monthly
2 IP
can be located in US, Europe or Asia
good internet connection with low ping, and at least 5mbps to LosAngeles, London, Moscow
panel where I can restart and see some transfer usage chart
stable! (max 1h maintenance)

PM me if interested (or [email protected]) (and we have a winner Smiley )

No one care about Cavirtex? It's down since couple days. I can't load data from server, looks like my server IP is blocked. I've send mail to them, but no answer so far. So if anyone is interested getting this back - [email protected]

Other thing, mail from my hosting provider: "On the evening of Tuesday, June 26 2012 between the hours of 12AM and 6AM Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5), BitsForCoins will be conducting emergency maintenance on the host node that provides your service.  Lasting for approximately 20 minutes [...]"

Hmmm... I wonder if it's really going to be EST or if they really meant EDT since that's what we're on now.

I'm not sure if everyone is getting one thing when it comes to ghost lines and "sensitivity" parameter.

It controls how much bid/ask must change in total volume to create new ghost line

For example, let's say you have 16 ghost lines in settings. If you set 300, you will see new ghost line every time bid/ask volume change over 300 BTC since last ghost line. This will be 300*16 volume history change on your screen.

If you set higher value, you can observe longer change history.
For example 1440 will show 1440*16=23040 volume change:

Currently there's no way to "roll back" and make new ghost lines, but someday it will be possible.
For now just don't refresh too much so new ghost lines will be created in full.

Other thing - since some new flash player version (11.2 I guess), when you hold btccharts in inactive tab to long it will loose connection. For now page refresh is only fix for this, check always last trade and order time - if they are in similar values you got this problem. Anyway, I'm on it.
