For the time being, I would say that it's very risky to attempt a transfer through the BTCD blockchain, Bittrex even delisted BTCD since the network is unstable. Cryptopia (and whatever exchange that is still supporting BTCD trading) should probably have some warning concerning this. I'm afraid that for the time being, the only solution is to sell. You can also keep holding it until some spike happens or the network is stable again, but I wouldn't count much on the latter.

and they're looking to support some more Quality Masternode based coins. Good suggest, right?

It's amazing that btcd is still being traded, goes to show that as long as exchanges list coins people will always be willing to gamble.

I'd be more supportive of btcd continuing to live if the blockchain network was more stable, then the store of value for BTCD would remain viable, all there is now is high risk speculation and greater fool game play.

This coin is making me fucking crazy right now. All the pools have something weird going on. Now on cryptoskills after I got a payment, only half the rigs connect properly

Not all BTCDs have been swapped for KMDs, but most of them have been. Some people/bots seem to be interested in trading an abandoned coin.

There is nothing to be done, nobody is mining blocks on that chain. BTCD is a dead coin, its development has been abandoned by the team who is now focused on Komodo.

I'm starting to wonder if this thread wouldn't be better off locked, with a post from the original poster saying that BTCD is dead ...

No valid reason apparently, probably speculation on the very tiny amount that is still in circulation. BTCD can be a play ground for speculators now that almost all of it has been swapped and that it is listed on only three exchanges (according to coinmarketcap).

You can try and ask Bittrex's support about it if you haven't already, but given the fact the blockchain is no longer maintained, anything that hasn't been transfered to be swapped for KMD or that hasn't been sold on the exchange the BTCD was on, seems lost forever (you can no longer sell it there nor transfer it somewhere else to sell it).

Coins not showing as unconfirmed over at btcd.minerpools.com.

For some reason, I misunderstood what you said, I thought you had an issue with transferring BTCD ... So what you are saying is that you are still waiting for your KMD to be credited on your address on Cryptopia?
