I think that every business should come to a point where they have to have a mascot to represent their business. A merch is a good one to support the business. Also you mentioned t-shirts, you are a really good graphics artist with a lot of contests done, you will definitely dominate the competition if BTCGOSU for t-shirt design.
They have their own mascot posted in their website. I am just not sure if the mascot can be easily seen when you are using mobile phone.Yeah I think a merchandise can also be helpful in terms of having a financial support, it can be considered as another backbone for security due to the fact that the product does not expire and can be sold anytime or anywhere. However, I think it would be better to ask the community for pre-orders first before implementing such move to avoid loss of funds.
This way we can see if there is a demand for it while reducing the risk.
