Buy-in ~25 USD in Bitcoin (500 Chips at SwC)

Does SwC added new cryptocurrencies to their deposit option? Because with btc and it's fees this will be to expensive personally for me (i can spend 25 dollars for poker, but for 25 + 20 (fee) i will find a better way to spend).

If they had done it, when I'm in. If not - when sorry guys  Cry
For now they arent accepting other altcoins which do sucks where you cant have any option to play just because fees is a big hindrance. BCH is still coming soon and hopefully they would consider on adding
some alt like Doge,Trx or LTC so that there would be no problems when situations like these would happen in the future where fees are on the rooftop.
Thats why i do skip out on playing for now due to this fee problem as there are no other options but if you do have thousands of bucks then this wont be an issue.

Dont worry I am in ! I will probably register tomorrow but I'll be there for sure. Some random weekend game like this while we wait for another series sponsored would be nice
I wouldn't mind joining either, since we are not able to recruit 15 poker enthusiasts and launch a new poker streak on Betnomi. But I have a few questions, I suppose they are addressed to those with whom I have already dealt. I would like someone to direct me ... including moving the discussion to a separate thread. I am also interested in internal transfers as I am not willing to spend $ 20 on transaction fees.

Edited: I wrote this message literally at the same time that I received a personal invitation.  Grin

As I remember we had some "poker newbies" in our series here, and I think they learned a lot. Because we talk about poker, we point out interesting situations and we discuss them like we discuss different poker strategies!

The newbies have all turned into some decent players ( especially Jayce and Betwrong  ). Back then it seems that I was one of those newbies as well lol, I totally have no clue what sizing to use and which hand is a decent hand to open bet depending on your position . IIRC back then I thought straights are better than flushes lol. Good old days huh

Anyway @efialtis will raffle 1 free buy in , heads to the telegram group chat in and make sure that you have register in swc ( through gosu's link if possible  Tongue )

Here is the telegram groupchat link https://t.me/btcgosu

See you at the tables Betwrong! After a long time! As I could notice, you sharpened your poker skills, and you are usually in the money! Smiley I am glad we will play once again!

Obito, texas holdem is the same everywhere... but it's not the same when you play with real money! Smiley

Thanks Efialtis for organizing the first BTCGOSU poker tournament! Will try to partcipate as I like to play against other GOSU'ers.
As iv4n mentions, you need to play with real money otherwise nobody really takes it serious and some will go all-in all the time.

If you see me right now, you would probably think that I am a meth addict scratching the unscratchable itch because I really want to play against other players but my schedule is full and the only leisure that I have is when I am sleeping right now believe when I want to join you guys but the time I have doesn't permit me to do stuff.
You can pass on that session now if your schedule doesn't permit you, You can still practice or play on your own time choice. Their casino is open all the time so you can practice there. If you don't want to play fiat, It's ok to find applications that offer dummy credit to play with like the Zynga Texas Hold'em you are playing.

Just got notified by efialtis regarding the said event just above my post and I'm thankful to got that message but unfortunately the time wasn't on my favor since that's 2:00AM at my timezone. Thanks though for the notice!

Timezones can be a pain in the ass, we all know that! 2 AM would be late for me too!

If these games are going to be starting on Saturdays at 18:00 GMT, the timing is perfect for me.

I hope to see many of our regulars from Bitcointalk Poker Series at the tables. I really miss, playing with you, guys.

Thanks for organizing it, @efialtis!

This news made my day! Smiley
Haven't been to this kind of poker tournament so I don't really know the mechanics, is the game Texas Hold'em? The closest I have played poker was the Zynga Texas Hold'em Poker game and I really suck real bad at it. Can people become observers in the game because I want to learn how to efficiently play.

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
Then, we have bitcoinrush.io a casino that was very good back in the day (they also had a sportsbook) here is the thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54075221

They closed the site more than a year ago and they kept all the balance from lots of players (including mine).

Please, guys, don't share things just to share.
That's the casino that was mentioned in the article I was referring to in my previous post. Like I said, I don't know about that platform and had no idea if it was still operational. All I did was check if they had an ANN on this forum and they did. After that I checked the trust rating of the thread starter and he currently has 1 positive trust with no negatives from DT members (+1 / =0 / -0). But you are right, the casino is dead. The article was written over 1 year ago, hence the confusion.

Guys not sure what are you saying about bitcoinrush.

there are 2 different bitcoinrush one is a trading app (with this bitcoin-rush-official.com)... which doesn't give you any faucet to play any casino. Reviews seem nice from your links but did you see the site?? did you read the reviews written on trustpilot?? they don't look reliable at all.

Do they really still give this high amount of satoshis with such a high BTC price ? As Efialtis, also never heard of BitcoinRush and I don't think it is sustainable to give out such a high amount. I only know a couple of (legit) casinos that have a faucet but the rewards you get there are low ( i.e. 90 satoshis/day)...
Never heard of BitcoinRush too, but their reviews seem favorable based on my research.

https://www.coininsider.com/bitcoin-rush-review/

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/bitcoin-rush-official.com

I doubt that figure is still the same. Faucets usually adjust their amounts depending on BTC value at that point of time. Some sites usually forget to update the amounts properly which leads to this kind of confusion.

I really don't know, I haven't checked. I also don't know anything about BitcoinRush but I saw they have an ANN on this forum and positive trust.
The article I read is from January 2020, so it's not that old. It wouldn't be unusual if they decided to lower the faucet claims considering bitcoin's rally in the last couple of months.

I will try to come up with something and post here once figured and live. Thanks! Smiley
No problem. Would be an interesting read for many people who don't have a lot of money to gamble with but still want to try out how it is to play on an online casino. I managed to find another source with a few casinos mentioned. I am not going to share it here for obvious reasons because I don't want to promote competitor blogs. According to that source, BitcoinRush got the highest rating among all tested platforms. They tested 9 in total. 10,000 satoshis can be claimed on BitcoinRush apparently. Some other platforms keep these numbers between 1.000 - 5.000 sats.

I have a question for efialtis and the BTCGOSU team:
Do you keep a list of crypto casinos that have faucets available? I would be interested in seeing a source that shows how much can be claimed and how often. I only know that FortuneJack has a Dice faucet. You can claim it 5 times in a 24-hour period and it amounts to 525 sats if I am not mistaken.

Hey,

we do not have a page with such a list (yet) but it`s a very good idea - great suggestion Pmalek. I will try to come up with something and post here once figured and live. Thanks! Smiley
