First let us withdraw the unaffected coins.

The transaction they refer to happened a week ago (immediately after the hack), and they seem to have just woken up?

It seems all the customers should wait a lot of time before see again their coins, this is very insane. You are right , they should allow the withdrawal.

Any records of them having another cold wallet ? any chance they got more funds that are hidden and secure for some other heavy investors or themselves ?

I haven't seen anyone coming here saying he lost like 300btc..  Roll Eyes

My personal stance on this is that the bitcoins stolen actually belong(ed) to bter themselves for the most part. What makes me think so? Bter has a huge deposit of doges (almost 5% of all dogecoins in circulation) which haven't been touched since beginning of September 2014 (no withdrawals since then, and just a few small incoming transactions), so their clients' doges are all in hot wallets. Why not then consider the possibility that the majority of their clients' bitcoins are also in hot wallets?

I still can't withdraw my NXT, what the hell? They are kidding us.

The internet is slow at the Bahamas  Cheesy

This is not funny, maybe I've lost a few coins and I can't withdraw them. Is this funny?

Lighten up. BTER look fair on the face of it.

Fixed that for you.

In a more serious tone, let's wait till tomorrow when banks open and see if they actually let their clients withdraw at least dollars and renminbi. I think a few people are already preparing for withdrawals suing them.

Thanks and I hope they will not turn to a big scam, I want to withdraw my coins.

So am I my friend, so am I.

I am also waiting for this but have no too much hopes because mintpal also do this magic and then suddenly disappear

Minpal wasn't from China, if I'm not mistaken. In Communist China they would sentence you to death if you killed, for example, a panda (this doesn't prevent them from using cats for food, though). So beware, Mr. Lin!

Your is a good example, I hope they will repay at least all the altcoins. We can't do nothing for the moment , only wait.

I don't think they will scam, first they will release |all the altcoin| and maybe after they will repay only a little-medium percentual of the bitcoin of the customers.  We don't need a second "mintpal, gox, etc... ".

I too am waiting to withdraw NXT. To be fair their tweet said, "We are opening BTER.com, preparing for withdrawals." Which is true. Just have patience, I don't think they will be hacked for their NXT in the next few hours, maybe though  Wink

I would rather have them do things carefully and deliberately than rush and screw something else up.
