Can SEC shutdown the BITSHARES Dex and confiscate BITUSD like they did with arisebank? Does the SEC recognise BTS as not a Security even though it did in 2017 that got bts delisted from bittrex and does the sec recognise the work of ex-sec lawyers from Stokens and the TXSRB

The SEC can only shutdown services hosted in the US. The Bitshares network decentralization over the whole world prevents from shutdown or confiscation. Therefore no need to worry.

The current bear market is horrible for the whole industry, especially payments is struggling. Yet it's a good time to talk about stable coins like tether, eos stable coins and bitshares stable coins. It's a trend and it will be exciting to see more wallets coming up that support them for commerce. A stablecoin at the POS is way better than a btc.

The technical capability of the BTS project team is good, and it is worth looking forward to. BTS coins should be held by investors for a long time.

Bitshares coin prices have not been optimistic lately, the current price has been relatively low, BTS is worth long-term investors to hold, investors can buy in batches.

The long-term development of the Bitshares project is still to be expected. At present, the price of BTS is relatively low. Investors can consider some positions and believe that there will be good returns in the future.

Increasing user security is an important issue and is addressed in BSIP 40. It also opens a lot of use-cases for specialized and targeted keys for an account, making BitShares much more versatile and introducing a unique feature that no other chain has (best to my knowledge).

How many DEX's are there on Bitshares now? Or is the only other one BitShares Asset Exchange currently?
Are there any volume statistics available for these?

This fresh facility to have access using same login to multiple exchanges from the bitshares wallet is ground breaking. At the same time this elimination of requirement of BTS for wallet will encourage lot of new people to step in and try to check the functions. This facility will wider the circle of tokens to deal with them from a single place.

Given that no ol entity is on the bts committee, there isn't much basis for using smartcoin terminology even if its backed by a bitasset. Only committee owned mpa use the bitasset terminology.

Bitshares big problem is a silent non-voting majority which favors the heavy stakes. It has become a little better with more delegates and more proposals. But it is too stagnant.

Nevertheless, both your thread and the announcement on Steemit channel have not stated that this one is optional or mandatory.
UI released are never mandatory. it's the reference wallet, so always on beta.

Bitshares coin prices have also fallen sharply, but BTS holders can rest assured that BTS prices will return to the upward path as soon as the next bull market arrives.
