First, great work on the additional units. OgNasty had to strip off the cases of the BLFs for additional cooling. Also, naked devices make for great mining rig pr0n.  Wink
If you decide to take off the cases, watch out: it's sharp.

I've altered our pool balance to incorporate the BFL units.

I suggest throwing a slice at Horrible Horrendous Terrible Tremendous mining pool.

After thinking it over.... nah, I really think it's worth doing this time.

Why are some many actively trading?  Maybe http://www.fool.com/how-to-invest/thirteen-steps/index.aspx?source=ifltnvsnv0000001 will help you some

Just one guess/possibility but some people may need to liquidate their assets for other transactions?

I also suppose when the majority of people (imho) think of "stocks" they associate the term with "playing the market" rather than investing. Regardless hindsight is 20/20 and the majority does not have the financial supply to diversify so heavily...

...yet.

EDIT: And through my novice perspective, glancing at the order books and market depth it appears somebody really wants the price per share to get and stay over .75, aiming for 1BTC/share?

I've altered our pool balance to incorporate the BFL units. We're currently mining at polmine, bitparking, bitminter, & slush with the following shares:

The singles are all aimed at polmine.
Bitparking is seeing 3 of 9 slices from our 3 Avalons.
Bitminter is seeing 3 of 9 slices from our 3 Avalons.
Polmine is seeing 2 of 9 slices from our 3 Avalons.
Slush is seeing 1 of 9 slices from our Avalons.

Polmine currently reports us at: 201997 Mh/s
Bitparking currently reports us at: 78045 Mh/s
Bitminter currently reports us at: 91611 Mh/s
Slush currently reports us at: 27807 Mh/s

Pool hashrates are obviously not reliable, but that's where we stand atm.

Cheers.

1000BTC more to spend? wow! what are you a magican  ? Also prepare for another split I quess  Cheesy

lol

I'll accept thrifty...even cheap...and proudly. We have 1031.935 to be precise. We raised 1872 in our IPO thanks to our awesome virtual shareholders, and then did extremely well with ASICMiner shares, collecting a healthy 73.1% profit while supplementing our dividends during our dark days. Going forward we'll have solid reinvestment fund growth(2.5+/day) to sustain us and help keep us on the happy side of network expansion. It's always been my goal to build a virtual company on a solid foundation. I haven't done anything without keeping long term sustainability in mind.

Cheers.

Well he is sitting on 429 BTC from the sale of AM.   Grin

I guess we know what he did with the coins from the sale of AM  Grin

Hi djjacket. It was not going to be a super dividend week for AM. We had a healthy profit, no reason to leave it on the table. I suspect we'll get more mileage from a 240Gh/s boost to our own hashrate. We've now doubled up our hashes, have 100+ Gh/s on the way and still have over 1000BTC in reserves.

Cheers.

Edit:

15Min average at polmine...still climbing.

With this addition, does it make sense to continue with the GPU's?  I know they have to be shut down sooner or later, and with a major jump in hashing power, it might be an opportune time so it won't be missed, plus I doubt you need to fry eggs today

Alternatively, would it be at all worth it to point the GPUs at LTC?

Yes. Burnside added stratum which requires a more recent version of CGMiner. I was using GUIMiner to keep things easy to swap, but the version I have deployed is too old to benefit from stratum, so I need to upgrade that before switching back to kattare. The change is small potatoes compared to babysitting the ASICs so I've been prioritizing.

Cheers.
