Good thing to know that there are some marketplaces that accept Bitcoin and other cryptos as a mode of payment where we can buy goods.
See this, 15 Major Retailers and Services That Accept Bitcoin.

Nowadays, no doubt, people must choice crypto as a currency to pay and buying goods or other services that accept cryptocurrency as a payment. But there are some people didn't use their crypto asset as payment they want to keep it for a long term and wait for a better profit.

When hearing about this topic was very good to improve the status but the main problem is people will not ready to buy or sell goods for cryptocurrency it made lots of people to discuss about their losses but in future it will be easily implemented when Crypto has some stable regulation.

Finally — crypto is applied to the traditional trading platforms. Looks like we will be buying refrigerators via crypto fee soon. And this is good for me, all we need is a cheap price and well-established security https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8D7b8u5usKE&feature=share

No matter the progress that cryptocurrencies have made it's still very hard to find the merchants and shops where you can use them for buying goods and services. Especialy you can't buy everything you want. So to make life easier and not to worry whether merchant accepts cryptocurrencies or not I suggest to get one of those Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies debit cards. You can use them where ever and for whatever you want to buy, it's good solution and many of them are giving quality service for reasonable price.

Try openbazaar or modultrade. The first one is pretty well-known, and the second one is new but promising. Choose your destiny  Wink
I am hearing about this two marketplace for the first time!   I will do more research on them to see how realible there are.  If not i prefer using this bitcointalk's marketplace for service as I have never bought anything from here.

there’re lots of crypto marketplaces nowadays. I guess it’s not a big deal to find the suitable one. Unfortunately I cannot advice you because i prefer using classic marketplaces.

no . crypto based marketplace are actually verry rare today due to the crypto adoption which isnt big enough .

i know some site online that accept crypto payments but those site are seems unsecure and they are not also reputable . so i dont recomend to try them  though i heard that amazon , ebay and other popular stores are now starting to have a plan about crypto partnership  . you'ld better for them because they are 100% legit .

Meanwhile the best thing you can do is to trade you coins unto local currency and buy directy on physical stores or convert them unto paypal or other ecurrency/payment method that most online stores accepts .

Yes this is a good idea but the exporting of this project will be more tougher for both the seller and buyer also because than stability will made the huge part but in future we may eminently expect the changes and it will be most important thing to discuss also.

Buying items and paying for services using crypto is available, maybe their website address has not been raised. So far I have done it repeatedly paying electricity bills using crypto and I also bought souvenirs using crypto even though there are some of their marketplaces that have closed. If you find a marketplace that accepts crypto, then just make sure there are many users there, so far I've never been fooled by services like that, because I'm only looking for marketplaces from my country, but I also often see lots of people sharing links a marketplace that accepts crypto payments but it is outside my country and I am not interested even though they are recommended.

I haven't really been able to buy any physical goods using crypto. Even though am always looking forward to that.
But in your case, wanting to spend off your holdings because you feel the market ia not going to recover is not a good move in my opinion. Best is to convert to fiat if you feel we are dipping further or maybe invest in other projects.

The Bitify’s situation disappointed me as well. Trying to find something new, but it’s pretty hard. Does someone use ModulTrade platform mentioned here? What’s their prons and cons?

I like the thing how did they implement the smart-contract. it establishes between the seller and the buyer, and the seller won’t receive the money until the goods are delivered.

Used to check the goods via bitify, but the latest news sound bad, so I did a small research and found the modultrade platform. Already bought myself a phone, there weren’t any problems with the delivery. kindly recommend to those who’s still looking for the trustful marketplaces.

There are plenty of crypto marketplaces where you can use those coins you have. I saw before a good marketplace but I cant remember it anymore. Did you checked if theres one on your locale?

Check out https://bitify.com maybe this fits your needs.

Please be careful when you use bitify. Recently there are many bad reviews about them. I had used them long back.
But that time the dealing went very smooth. You can try https://www.coinmall.com. They also have escrow service
so you dont have to be afraid of getting scammed .

The power of buying goods and buying things for cryptocurrency will not be established still now because we are not a trustable person of cryptocurrency this will leads to the changes but in future if the government accept Bitcoin then we can definitely buy and sell goods for bitcoin.

as we've been in a state of bear-trend for almost a year, i'm trying to find another usage of my eth and btc except hodling. do you know any real working crypto-marketplaces? probably it's not a bad option and i would find something really worthful to buy without any doubts of being scammed. kindly waiting for your feedback
You can make use of purse.io to buy whatever you need from amazon and make payments in either Bitcoin or BCH (after exchanging your eth into these through an exchange obviously). But that’s not worth it, what exactly are you going to buy, is it laptop, clothes or what exactly ? It’s your choice though but I hope you don’t do what you will regret later. You were able to hold it till now, so it’s best for you to keep on doing that since there have been a lot of good news and signs about the market and that it might it go up soon, so why would you give up now?

If not getting scammed is a bi concern for you then you can go for buying any digital goods from this forum's marketplace as you can sure about avoiding scams by engaging an escrow. In this case, you can use your ETh directly to pay the seller because many people here will be ready to accept any reputed altcoins easily.

Thanks to everyone who replied here, I got the same question as the topicstarter.
Spendabit is pretty useful, need some more time to check how it works. As for marketplaces, I took a look at the ModulTrade and OpenBazaar on idythef's advice. Will study both the platforms as well Smiley

I will advise you to hold your cryptocurrency till the second half of this year, if that nothing happens around then, you can decide to use it in buying whatever you need. As for how you can spend it, that depends, maybe you can get a BitPay wallet cause it helps you get an Amazon gift card right from the wallet, you can then spend your gifts on Amazon online store. But like I said, you better have patience so that you don’t get to regret later.
